16/03/2025: Despite being a stone's throw from the highway (therefore very convenient) you can't even hear the noise and it feels like being in the countryside. Very nice place and the gastronomy on the ground floor of the structure is really interesting. Definitely worth considering if you are passing through, even just for a properly made sandwich!

Never was a more appropriate choice, elegant and well-kept environment, superlative food, Marlena is a special person. Thank you so much for making us have a wonderful evening! Absolutely recommended!

04/05/2025: Prodotti tipici e genuini, salumi di Norcia spettacolari. Il posto è piccolo ma nel pieno centro della stupenda Assisi. Siamo stati con nostro figlio di 6 mesi, il personale è stato estremamente gentile e accogliente. Consigliatissimo.

01/06/2025: Nice restaurant in the middle of the village. Friendly service and nice outdoor dining. If you go early in the year (we were there end of May) it is advisable to take a cardigan or jacket because it can cool down there later in the evening and there can be a fresh breeze.

If two waitresses tell more than one customer of a group (a kindergarten end-of-year dinner) to go to hell (verbally and with gestures) and also treat 5-year-old children rudely, and if then one of these waitresses slaps the one who complained about the terrible service, and if then the head waiter, after the physical aggression, doesn't even offer a minimum discount and actually washes his hands of it... I don't know about you... but would you go to a place like this? At this point the mediocre quality of the food takes a back seat.
21/06/2025: Good meat. Normal prices. Excellent service. Strategic location. What more to say...? Go there and you won't regret it.

The staff is kind and efficient.

18/11/2024: The owner is lovely, genuine and kind. I respect that attending tables alone is challenging, but the service is severely affected.
Quadrotti with chickpeas were AMAZING. The other soups also good, the pasta guanciale and fave was ok but honestly I expected more.
I wish him the best, but it's hard to survive at this pace. Hopefully some young hands are going to give new energy to the experience of the current management.

13/06/2025: A magical, clean and lively place! Sara and Stefano always welcome you with a smile, all the staff are alert and attentive to the needs of the customer. The food is excellent, the pizza highly digestible, the desserts delicious, then there is the beer, the spring water, the fireplace.. the fireplace!! What more could you want?!
There is a wonderful energy in the air that invites you to come back and come back again!! ♥️
Update: in the summer the outside is MAGICAL!

Già leggendo il menu sale l’acquolina in bocca, le proposte sono piatti raffinati negli accostamenti, ma anche di gran gusto.
Ci sono tutti gli ingredienti d’eccellenza di un territorio ricco e generoso e dagli antipasti ai dessert e’ davvero tutto curato e buonissimo.
Buona anche la cantina (anche se consiglierei di guardare anche un po’ più a sud per arricchire la proposta vini nazionali).
Gentilissimo, cordiale e disponibile lo staff, che ti fa sentire a casa e questo fa la sua bella differenza.
Consigliatissimo, noi ci torniamo molto volentieri la seconda sera.

1. Unfriendly greeting
2. Although other tables were available (no reservations), we were assigned a table that wouldn't have accommodated two regular-sized plates. 3. When we wanted to order 1x tagliere salumi, 1x orologio di formaggio, and 1x crostini misti, a total of €34 without a drink, we were told we had to order at least €15 each... We looked at each other a bit perplexed and hesitated... And besides, they didn't do antipasti alone.
We got up and left.
I've never experienced anything like that before.

Oh yes, and ATM payments only from €35.
Italian law clearly says otherwise... And when it's €1...
