10/06/2025: A group of us were in Cortona for a wedding and wanted to try a restaurant in a different town - and this was hands down our favorite from the five days we were in the region. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and from start to finish this was a great meal experience. The food itself was phenomenal - ask for olive oil pairings with your food! The seafood was so fresh and the pasta mouth-wateringly delicious. If you're reading this review, run, don't walk there - you will love this place.

03/06/2025: We had a wonderful dinner here! Definitely not your standard Italian fare — everything from the generous seafood antipasti to the delicious seafood pasta and the tiramisu was exceptional. The fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. Service was warm and welcoming, with very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality food and a great dining experience!

26/05/2025: After 9 days in Tuscany and Umbria, this was one of our best lunches of all! Service was prompt, helpful and courteous, with an appreciative bit of English from our server. Food was delicious (trout, tortellini al Tartufo -truffles). And the prices are very kind on the wallet. Very happy here!

25/05/2025: Abbiamo sperimentato questo ristorante per puro caso, trovandoci in zona Piazza del Mercato attorno all’ora di pranzo, senza prenotazione. Abbiamo scelto un antipasto misto di salumi (quantità giusta per due), due strangozzi al rancetto, due quartini di vino della casa (rosso e bianco), cantucci e vin santo (una porzione, correttamente suggerita dalla proprietaria, che ringraziamo!) e due caffè, il tutto per €49,50. Il coperto è incluso. Piatti di buona qualità e presentazione, corretto il rapporto qualità prezzo, buona l’atmosfera del locale e ottima la gentilezza del giovane cameriere e della proprietaria. Tempi di attesa giusti.

06/06/2025: Great bar in Gubbio. Very good breakfast, with excellent pastries. I've been there a few times for lunch and the food was very good and well plated. Friendly staff, I recommend it for a breakfast or a quick lunch. Moderate prices

04/06/2025: Despite the (slightly) lower prices compared to surrounding restaurants, we expected more quality. The food was mediocre. Tasted as if everything came from a package or factory. Glasses of wine filled to below the line. A nice terrace with a parasol above it. And a nice service. Next time we will not come back here unfortunately.

23/06/2025: Excellent restaurant located in the center of town, right in front of the theater, now closed like many businesses in town, for post-earthquake renovation (after almost ten years!). The restaurant looks good and I ate as a couple in a gazebo outside the restaurant two meters from the war memorial. The wait staff is friendly and kind and the dishes are all tasty, plentiful and respect the tradition of Umbrian cuisine with excellent strangozzi with truffles and everything else. Small dogs can be accommodated and the staff takes care of providing a bowl of water. I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant as it is truly worth it.

01/06/2025: Food not up to the price paid! With the same price 210 euros for two you can eat in a starred restaurant with a tasting menu done as it should be! The place has a beautiful view and the waiting staff was friendly and helpful! Too bad the dishes and the combinations are not up to the location!

Locale davvero molto piacevole e accogliente dove puoi goderti tranquillamente la tua serata. Abbiamo assaggiato diversi piatti tra cui la tartare, il tortino di carciofi, puré di fave,passatelli in brodo e dolci.... Tutto MERAVIGLIOSO! COMPLIMENTI Francesca! Personale molto gentile. 14/05/2025: Cenare a La Capannina in Castiglione del Lago (PG) è come trovare una singolarità (non pensate subito ai buchi neri, via). Sì, perché, entrando nel locale, accogliente, con ampi spazi tra i tavoli (realtà quasi unica, ma assai apprezzabile, visto che non amo desinare a stretto contatto con qualcuno che non sia mio commensale), con un titolare affabile, dalla battuta pronta e sagace, che porta a tavola vivande di alta caratura, è evento, come dicevano i latini, signanda lapillo, non quello nero, ovviamente. Sì, signori, tale favorevole concatenazione di fatti la troverete qui; per giunta siete sul Lungolago e di sera lo troverete assai romantico. Conto onesto e, per sopramercato, anche la cuoca, oltre che brava, è simpatica. Prenoto un tavolo fin da ora, lo stesso che occupò Annibale dopo lo scacco a Caio Flaminio. Alfredo da Bologna

30/03/2025: Siamo ritornati dopo diverso tempo e abbiamo trovato le stesse ottime cose, accoglienza, qualità delle pietanze, cura, pulizia, attenzione. Gnocchi e Pappardelle alla Castellucciana, Sacrpetta e Formaggi al forno, Dolci di ricotta e caffè....superlativi, buon vino buona genziana e buon conto. Bravi alla prossima

16/02/2025: Abbiamo mangiato in questo locale per tre volte tra fine gennaio e febbraio prima di scrivere questa recensione. Questo per poter essere certi che la bellissima impressione avuta inizialmente, fosse poi confermata nel tempo. La cucina è veramente Castellucciana, le pietanze sono preparate con prodotti locali e naturali (che si possono anche acquistare nel locale). Sia i primi piatti che i dolci preparati con la ricotta sono veramente speciali. Si mangia con vista sul Monte Vettore e su Pian Grande (impagabile). Elemento molto importante, da non trascurare nella scelta dei locali dove si va per rilassarsi e godersi qualche emozione, è la gentilezza e la simpatia dei due titolari sia durante il pasto ma anche in fase di prenotazione del tavolo. Credo sia una tappa imperdibile in un giro da quelle parti. È consigliato prenotare perché il locale non è molto grande (anche se credo che con la primavera metteranno anche dei tavoli all'esterno). C'è anche un'area di parcheggio al di sotto del ristorante stesso.

29/06/2025: My wife and I, along with a couple of friends, had dinner in this characteristic restaurant in the center of Todi. Friendly staff and typical dishes of the Umbrian tradition. A beautiful experience to be repeated without a doubt.
