14/09/2025: I stayed here with my son and we were greeted with incredible kindness, making us feel right at home. The apartment was very spacious, tastefully furnished, and spotlessly clean. Thanks to the owner's advice, we purchased some typical local products from their deli and had a wonderful dinner. It was a pleasure meeting you.

09/10/2025: Very mediocre pizzas. The food arrived completely haphazardly, so one person finished their meal before the others arrived at completely different times.

29/09/2025: I went to Taverna dei Duchi with my friends. We found the place by following our instincts, since we're not from Spoleto but were just passing through as guests, exploring this wonderful city. This place was also a surprise for us; Giorgio welcomed us with such sweetness and kindness, immediately accommodating all our requests. Our experience with him as our guide gave us the pleasure of savoring his professionalism and patience. We tried a typical local dish, Strangozzi al Rancetto, a delicious fresh pasta. We then continued with a slice of beef with Gorgonzola and walnuts, Umbrian lentils, and a selection of local cheeses. We finally concluded the meal with a typical dessert made of chocolate and amaretti biscuits with a very delicate cinnamon note: Crescionda. Everything was truly excellent and meticulously prepared. This place is recommended for those who truly want to savor flavor and tradition in a friendly atmosphere. We paired everything with a good house red wine.

04/06/2025: Su consiglio di gente del posto io e mia moglie abbiamo lasciato i luoghi piu' turistici del lago e siamo andati a San Feliciano con lo scopo specifico di assaggiare un menù fatto esclusivamente di pesci di lago. Scelta azzeccata. Il ristorante é elegante anche se un pò datato e forse poco adatto ai giovani ma la location é bella e la cucina senz'altro valida. Abbiamo assaporato l'antipasto misto di pesce del Trasimeno, i filetti di codregone in tre modi diversi, ottime tagliatelle alla tinca affummicata. Mezzo punto in meno forse per il capitone alla spiedo, un pò troppo piccolo come taglia. Se un giorno passeremo di nuovo da quelle parti ci rifermeremo senz'altro da Settimio.

27/05/2025: A San Feliciano splendidi panorami alimentano sensazioni di pace e cari ricordi (visita a "la Zizaia" con Faliero Marcianti). Francesco e il suo staff ti coccolano con ricette antiche e nuove. Pesce fresco, preparato perfettamente, ti mette in crisi per una scelta. Per fortuna la bravissima Sofia ci aiuta. Applausi allora per: -latterini fritti -tegamaccio -grigliata e frittura mista -carpa regina in porchetta -capitone allo spiedo. A presto.

04/07/2025: I was actually a guest with my wife at the Giotto hotel where this restaurant is located. Beautiful terrace with an unparalleled view of the valley below. Worth a try even just for the location.

19/07/2025: Besides being a bakery and a café, they also sell bread and rolls. The bread is cheaper than at the supermarket, and it's locally produced. Local supermarkets only sell partially baked and frozen bread, which is reheated in the oven before being sold (I don't buy it). They only have bread made and sold here, and it's cheaper than at the supermarket. If you need it, buy it here.

05/05/2025: Despite having driven past it many times, I only entered this place yesterday morning. On Sunday he allowed me to park right in front and, before heading up to the center on foot, I "recharged" myself with an excellent Venetian and an espresso. In simple things you can see the ability of those who make them: excellent brioche and excellent coffee, kindness of those who served them to me, correct prices... a precious GOOD MORNING PERUGIAN!

05/10/2025: As soon as you enter this place, the attention and care they give to their customers is evident from the way you are welcomed. We chose two Neapolitan pizzas, in keeping with tradition, but in the case of mine, the boscaiola, there were mushrooms and excellent Perugian sausage. I also noticed excellent quality of ingredients, with an emphasis on local ones. The dough was excellent, respecting the traditional "Neapolitan pizza", with high edges. I had dessert, a pandolce with chocolate shavings and pear cream, which was nothing special, but at least it was homemade. The place is small but welcoming, a little noisy but normal.

10/09/2025: The restaurant is located inside the historic residence that the Donini Counts built in 1579 as their summer residence in Umbria, not far from the cities of Perugia and Assisi. The main floor, renovated in the mid-18th century, still retains its classic series of living rooms embellished with doors and canvases painted by Nicola Giuli in 1780. Here, you can admire the concert hall, whose walls are entirely lined with canvases from the school of Francesco Appiani. Appiani also owns a magnificent oil-on-canvas altarpiece in the 18th-century chapel, depicting Saint Philip Neri and the Madonna. On the ground floor, there are five rooms with ceilings frescoed in the first and second half of the 19th century. In the two-hectare park, you can admire a mausoleum dedicated to Countess Laura Donini dating back to 1850 and a dovecote entirely painted in imitation wood from the same period. Along an avenue, five Etruscan cinerary urns from the 3rd century BC are preserved, while six 18th-century terracotta vases stand in front of the Villa's main entrance. The restaurant is housed in the Villa's caretaker's house, in a prime spot surrounded by nature. It offers cuisine that showcases local products combined with Italian excellence to create an unforgettable dining experience. Creativity, seasonality, quality, research, and tradition are the ingredients of every recipe from Chef Tommaso. Samir, the maître d', Giuliano, Luca, Elena, John, and the entire staff welcome guests with a smile, making them feel at ease. The menu is varied, ranging from appetizers (such as beef tongue carpaccio with pickled vegetables, curly lettuce and beetroot sauce, artisanal cured meats from “Granieri di Casalalta” according to the ancient Umbrian tradition: Ash, time and wisdom, flaky focaccia with lard and salt flakes, etc.), to first courses (such as artisanal umbricelli made with water and flour with salted butter, smoked eel and bay leaf powder), to second courses (such as lightly smoked lamb with rose petals, cream of carrots and roasted peppers), to side dishes and desserts (such as the ‘Mon Cheri’, a Black Forest wine flavoured with eau de vie). The wine list is very extensive, ranging from Sauvignon to Marina Cvetic Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Riserva Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC or Pagliaro Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG. The restaurant is also open to non-hotel guests who wish to enjoy a romantic dinner in a classy setting. During the summer, the restaurant offers a garden lunch in the garden adjacent to the Il Lecci dining room, where breakfast and delicious appetizers are served. Throughout the year, lunch is served inside the restaurant, offering an à la carte menu. The menu changes periodically based on the season and the ingredients, which are all top-quality and fresh. The restaurant is located at Via Deruta 43 in San Martino in Campo; a place I highly recommend and sure to win everyone's heart. It has been recently renovated: there is an internal room for groups, the upper floor, a large, recently built interior space, and an outdoor space from which you can admire the park with its three fountains.

18/09/2025: It's impressive that it was dug 2,300 years ago and that the stones of the upper structure are held together by interlocking joints! A maximum of 10 people can be in the well at a time, so there may be a queue to get down. The 40 steps are wet and there's a risk of splashing water, but it's worth it!

17/08/2025: An excellent restaurant, with very refined and, above all, healthy food. Probably one of the best macrobiotic places I've eaten at. I hope to return to Città di Castello soon to eat there again.

12/07/2025: We loved everything, and it's all healthy, a rarity these days. Plus, the prices are more than reasonable. It's a shame we're just passing through Città di Castello, because it's a place you'll want to become regulars at, both for the restaurant and the shop.
