08/12/2025: There's an almost philosophical passion behind a project as simple as it is complex: a wine shop. I didn't choose this place randomly, but wanted to capture something through photos, the website, and reviews, because it can often happen that you waste your money. Which means you might drink very well, but without a decent human touch—at least for us. The owner isn't a pushy, overbearing person, quite the opposite. He can approach you slowly and carefully, as long as you let him, and that's not easy. He knows exactly what he's selling, explaining it discreetly but with evident passion. I love genuinely heartfelt stories, and despite our short stay, we were captivated. Wines can be paired with small delicacies or a simple but never banal bruschetta with olive oil, especially if all the ingredients are excellent. Clearly, the wines he suggested were not only excellent but also surprising. A delightful Friday evening before dinner, which we would have extended indefinitely. Thank you so much.

27/10/2025: I ordered a red velvet cake for my eighteenth birthday, and it was exactly what I wanted—very beautiful and delicious. I'd like to thank the pastry chef, Maria, and Francesca, who works at the counter, and who was so skilled and professional in coordinating all our requests. Highly recommended!
19/09/2025: There's a good selection, but be careful about the quality; things get thrown out when they're old. After eating a cream puff with chantilly, I ran to the bathroom (it didn't taste bad, but I was in a hurry) and the diplomatico was stale, at least two days old, hopefully not three. To top it all off, they charged me for a glass of still water at the checkout, as if we were in the center of Milan.

02/06/2025: Tempi infiniti per l' ordinazione e comunque servizio disorganizzato al massimo. Primo arrivato con un capello poi comunque rimandato indietro. Nel complesso cibo discreto. Non lo consiglio in maniera decisa.
05/05/2025: Horrible servicio. No nos sentaron porque no teníamos reservas. Así que salí, hice una reserva en línea y volví y les dije que tenía reservas. Nos sentaron, pero estaban claramente molestos. Esto es a pesar de que el restaurante nunca estuvo más de 2 / 3 lleno.
El servicio era extremadamente lento, sacaban las cosas a diferentes horas, etc. Además, la comida era promedio, en el mejor de los casos. No muy sabroso. Gran decepción.

08/02/2026: I came in to buy a bottle of water and left after a five-minute wait, without anyone speaking to me. Despite being there waiting, I was completely invisible to the staff, completely absorbed in a chaotic and needlessly stressful work environment.
I witnessed a typical scene: the coffee attendant was yelling at the waiters, urging them to deliver a tray she hadn't yet finished preparing. This type of coordination doesn't speed up service; it only creates an atmosphere of anxiety that negatively impacts productivity and, inevitably, the customer experience.
I'm convinced the staff are professionals eager to work, but workload management must be done calmly and clearly. Such an anxious management style only wastes resources and leads to longer than necessary management times. I hope this comment will be taken as a constructive warning to rediscover the harmony needed to enhance the establishment.
25/12/2025: We have been visiting Assisi for ten years and this is THE best coffee in town BAR NONE. We are extremely picky about coffee in the States and we always go to this café daily for our cappucino (phenomenal!) and espresso fix. All others in this town are a waste of time (we've done the work of trying all the fuds for you). Their coffees make me poetic!

09/02/2026: I went to this bar with a friend for lunch. We wanted something quick to eat. We ended up each ordering a sandwich, which arrived cold, and a portion of pumpkin ravioli for two that were nothing short of terrifying. They were dry and hard. My friend broke the plastic fork from the cover charge, which cost a whopping €3.
We left the ravioli on our plates and sent them back. We got to dessert. We wanted to try the desserts displayed in a glass case, but nothing, they're only for takeout 🙄, so we chose a chocolate cream puff, which turned out to be dry, and a slice of stuffed roll, nothing special, for €6.
At that point, we had to point out the poor quality of the products served, much to the owner's surprise, but given the reviews I just read, I don't understand why.
The only good thing was the coffee, but that was also €1.50.
On the plus side, a nice bar with tempting packaged foods.
I don't think I'll go back there again!
03/02/2026: Very bad, I found prices definitely higher than other bars. Menus are unclear, and often when asked to pay by card, the owner makes a rude face...
Not very friendly
Avoid...help!

05/01/2026: I'll never get a coffee at this bar again. After seeing how he treated the girl in front of me, I was shocked. Who does that old lady serving think she is? That's not the way you treat customers!
05/01/2026: Aside from the fact that I've never seen a bar owner get annoyed because they have customers, I have here. The staff was unfriendly; we went for a drink and they didn't even clear our table from previous customers. The prices were extremely high and the coffee was burnt. I'll definitely never go there again.

27/02/2026: The service wasn't friendly, and the pizza was a waste of time. When we asked if the pizza was fresh, the lady replied yes... And she was pulling the pizza out of the freezer right in front of us!!! It looked awful. Canned pasta is better than this. When we got the pasta, it was hard, so we went to the glade to discuss this. She said no problem and that it would be fine in two minutes and put the pasta in the microwave. Honestly, the pizza from Frog is heaven on earth. Don't go there under any circumstances!

16/12/2025: Gino, the owner, cook, and often waiter, does everything himself, even the morning grocery shopping for the restaurant. Excellent, authentic, and unpretentious, typical Perugian home cooking. It's popular with locals and tourists, but it's not a tourist magnet. In summer, you can eat outside in the open-air space in front of the entrance. Recently, it's only open for lunch; for dinner, reservations are required, and probably only for groups.
28/08/2025: This small restaurant, just steps from the center of Perugia, offers traditional dishes with simple, yet flavorful, cuisine.
We had a great time.
