19/12/2025: It's gotten so much better over the last year: more choice, more color in the restaurant, and more sunshine! Everything is excellent.

10/12/2025: Unfortunately, it was one of the stickiest, most overcooked, and tasteless risottos I've ever eaten. We barely touched our plates; I would have been embarrassed to serve such a dish. The rest of the dishes were mediocre. It's a shame, because I'm vegan and would have loved to find a trustworthy restaurant in Città di Castello. The waitress was cold and quite brusque.

07/12/2025: I went here with a table of 20 people, and I have to say the service was excellent, meeting my expectations. The only flaw, unfortunately, was the pizza, which was too greasy, and the profiteros.

01/09/2025: A nice place, with a wide selection of draft beers, outdoor dining in the summer, and classic pub food: burgers, pizza, and various appetizers. Darts are also available.

07/12/2025: Chosen at random. The atmosphere is 1980s-style, but clean and tidy. The wait staff (Francesca) was kind and empathetic. We waited a bit because they prepare it fresh. We had torta al testo, which was crispy but not hard, and had a nice filling. Very good and enjoyable.

30/08/2025: I had dinner here last night with my family. What can I say? It was a fantastic evening from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming and quaint, set in an ancient cellar with stone walls and antique doors, yet not at all stuffy. We were served by a very kind, friendly, and professional lady, whom I sincerely thank for her hospitality! And now for the food, a 10/10 for the chef! The dishes were sublime: classic appetizers and innovative traditional first courses made with fresh pasta and quality ingredients. The tagliata was so tender and melted in the mouth. The finale was explosive, with delicious, freshly prepared desserts! What more can I say? I hope to return, and well done! A round of applause to all of you!

12/08/2025: Very good restaurant. We ate outside in a quiet area. The service was very fast and the food was really good! Highly recommended.

19/11/2025: I went to get my takeout order, then I went home and the order was completely wrong. I initially asked if the mixed fried food included fries, and the lady told me no, making me buy another portion. I said, "Okay, if it's not on the order, make me another portion with fries and cheddar because I don't eat pork..." and she added both cheddar and bacon, so I had to throw it all away.

07/10/2025: It's my favorite pub every time I travel to Gubbio for work. In addition to the excellent craft beers, there's also the professionalism and friendliness of Luca, Elisa, and Marco. A place to enjoy yourself with friends...

31/12/2025: For me, it's "neither/nor"... It's definitely my obsession, but you can't be a pub and/or a pizzeria and/or a restaurant... What I ate wasn't bad; the food was excellent, but the preparation wasn't top-notch... I had wild boar that was tender but too tasty... Let's just say it's not for me... While my companions were more satisfied...

26/12/2025: We stopped in today, December 26th, for a quick lunch...a mixed platter for two, €25, without even the cheeses and the torta al testo (a kind of flatbread) to pay separately. The cold cuts were of poor quality, and the cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired. 2 stars for being good.

The restaurant is located in a quaint alley, and having lunch or dinner there makes everything even more special, with that typical atmosphere of the historic center that makes you feel immersed in the city. Every course I tried was truly excellent, from the starter to the dessert, with a perfect balance of flavor and tradition. Even when I went to eat there, I immediately felt at ease, and I would definitely return. 01/01/2026: Welcoming place. Authentic cuisine, featuring traditional Umbrian dishes, with an eye for local products. Exceptional prosciutto, as was the peasant-style lamb. Attentive and helpful service, even though the place was packed. Paolo, the owner, was, as always, a pleasant and friendly person.

03/01/2026: Very good pizza Excellent value for money

01/01/2026: We ordered two pizzas and some fried food to go for dinner. Reservations are available until 8:00 PM, but delivery after that isn't guaranteed. The pizza is thin-crust but lightly topped. The "Subasio" pizza (similar to a vegetarian pizza) had 1 asparagus spear, two zucchini slices, and a slice of eggplant. The "Perugina" pizza (a Margherita with sausage) had almost no tomato sauce, even though it's a "red" pizza. Overall, it was edible. The Ascolana olives were delicious. Cost €23.

13/07/2025: Highly recommended, with fair prices and excellent food. The appetizer for two was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. A great experience.

07/11/2025: This is a really cute place, and it's sure to be very popular in the summer for its outdoor space and high-altitude location. The climb up is a bit difficult, but a very kind host welcomed us warmly and served us authentic produce and delicious sandwiches, along with a wide selection of draft beers.

13/12/2025: Very clean and original premises. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff, excellent food.

22/10/2025: "Appearances don't pay off, and the host's bills don't add up." I strongly advise against this place. Even the appetizer included a cheese crust. The prices were completely out of proportion for the quality and quantity of the food. A disappointing experience, both culinary and gastronomic. I'm deliberately omitting the wine list. A food and wine expert by passion and training.
