14/09/2025: Recently visited this charming little bar located conveniently near the University of Messina. As expected for the area, you'll find plenty of students frequenting this spot, creating a lively academic atmosphere.
Space & Seating:
The bar is quite compact with limited seating, so if you're planning to visit with a larger group, I'd recommend arriving early or being prepared to wait. During daytime hours, the outdoor seating can get quite sunny, making indoor spots more comfortable.
Service & Staff:
The service was pleasant, with friendly male and female bartenders who were professional and accommodating throughout my visit.
I ordered the Crema di Caffè with Panna, which offered good value for money in terms of both quality and portion size. While it was enjoyable and reasonably priced, I wouldn't say it's the absolute best Crema di Caffè you'll find in Messina – but certainly worth trying.
Overall:
A decent neighborhood spot that's definitely worth a try if you're walking through this area of Messina. While it has some limitations in terms of space and the sweetness level of certain items, the friendly service and reasonable prices make it a solid choice for a quick coffee break, especially if you're in the university district.
Recommended for: Students, coffee lovers, quick stops, solo visits

29/09/2025: We asked for a table for three. They didn't listen to us and reserved one for two. When we arrived, we asked for a table inside because it was cold and were told there weren't any. We told them we'd seen them, and they moved us to one inside.
The entire meal was brought to us cold, and it was the worst entrecote I've ever eaten.
We won't be back.
22/09/2025: Great pizza! The takeout was ready in 10 minutes, a record! There's just too much white light inside; perhaps it would be better to replace it with off-white yellow lights for the sphere...

14/07/2025: I pay by card... "It doesn't work" is an old story, especially if you only mention it at checkout without even warning them first, perhaps with a simple sign like some do.
Then, a soy latte macchiato costs €2.50...it costs less at the Autogril.

29/09/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant in Capalbio with a lovely terrace. Seafood menu, good wine list, very elegant atmosphere, and friendly, welcoming staff. A regular stop when I'm in Capalbio. They should change the menu more frequently.

23/10/2025: We found it by chance. Near the center. Super cheap. They're very friendly and fast.
You order at the bar first, then pay in the cigar section.
Locals from the neighborhood come here; you can feel and share the spirit of Florence.
We were there having breakfast for a while, and several locals came in, talking about their things. Wonderful.
26/09/2025: Every time I arrive in Florence, I get my coffee from them great prices and top-quality coffee.
The staff is very nice.

09/11/2025: 1. It has a spacious terrace with tables for outdoor dining overlooking the beautiful Valdichiana.
2. There were 20 of us. We all had a mixed appetizer, then some had first courses that were a bit disappointing in terms of quantity and quality. Others, including me, had thin-crust pizzas, well-seasoned and well-made, some even with porcini mushrooms. Then we had some desserts, water, wine, coffee, and everything was good quality.
3. The price was fair: €23 per person, considering everything. It's great.
4. The service was fairly quick, a bit too informal on the part of the young, somewhat unprofessional waiters.
5. It also has rooms for overnight stays if anyone is passing by and wants to stop.

13/11/2025: Paradise exists, and I've been there.... One evening, unable to continue my truck's journey, I found myself needing to find a place to have dinner and perhaps a drink. Googling, I came across Beer House Project. Even though it was more than 2 km from my truck's parking lot, I decided to take a stroll anyway and try it out, and I couldn't have made a better decision! Amazing place, excellent sandwiches and schiacciatas, carefully prepared with quality ingredients, but above all, exceptional beer! Ten taps with beers from Italy and Europe, constantly changing but always offering a unique and unforgettable experience for every beer lover. The staff is super friendly and always ready to offer advice. Barbara is one of a kind!
If you're in the area, stop by and you won't regret it. If you're not in the area, plan a visit to Beer House Project because it's worth it. Guaranteed!

Spacious venue with the option to watch games!
A must-try in my opinion.

18/11/2025: Highly recommended. I'm not originally from the area, but I've often stopped here for breakfast. I've tried several pastries, my favorite being the flaky croissant with cream. I think it's phenomenal, thanks to the cream, which is simply delicious. The croissant is very flaky, French-style. They also have other, less flaky croissants, which I haven't tried because I prefer the others. The pain au chocolat is also good. I've never tried the other pastries, like the pastries and cookies, so I can't judge.
The only flaw is the cappuccino, which is way too small—two sips and it's gone. The cup is barely larger than a coffee cup. This needs improvement, as the price isn't comparable to a mini cappuccino. And that's the reason for my 4 stars; otherwise, I'd have given it 5. Everything else is fine, prices are slightly above average, the croissant is worth it; as for the rest, perhaps they should lower the price a bit or make larger portions, like with the cappuccino.

10/11/2025: Eight friends. We found this recommendation in an old Lonely Planet guide. We reached the trattoria, which is located in a remote area in the municipality of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. We arrived on a Saturday in November and discovered we were the only customers. We entered a little wary, but quickly changed our minds. The atmosphere is exquisite, and the dining experience is excellent. The appetizers are flawless (salted tongue with giardiniera, a platter of crostini and cured meats, hand-sliced Bazzone prosciutto). Among the first courses, we couldn't forget the perfect tagliolini with truffles and the homemade tortelli with ragù. The braised cheek also deserves pride of place. What more can we say? A must-try for anyone visiting Garfagnana.
