They offer both Italian cuisine and fried chicken and potatoes.
A family-friendly restaurant with a warm atmosphere, I really enjoyed it.
The menu is in English, but Google Translate works great with photos.
22/10/2025: A place to avoid:
- A pasta dish with inedible bits of fat (€9) for the gentleman and spaghetti swimming in oil (€8) for the lady.
- €8.50 for a plate of uncooked chickpeas.
- €2.50 per place setting (a fork, no knife)
- €2 for tap water
Add to that, a very cold welcome.
This restaurant is not worth a detour.

21/10/2025: Nice place, attentive and friendly service, terrible food. If you really have to go, the peposo and pici all'aglione are good.
The chef must have changed because in older photos the tagliatelle with wild boar looked good, while the ones they make now, served in this pan, are terrible. They taste like beef and are the color of beef, the pasta is dry, and the whole thing is saltless and flavorless. Even worse is the duck, which I really don't understand why it's pink with gray/brown streaks instead of red. So, lousy game, and to make matters worse, we all had stomach aches as soon as we got home. Especially for such a bad meal, €45 per person is absurd. Highly not recommended.

16/11/2025: Highly recommended by our dear friends at Poppi and Stia. We would have loved to try your dishes. We arrived at the time you mentioned, and the kind and charming waitress greeted us kindly, explaining that you were a bit busy. The owner, without even looking at us, repeated, "We'll have to wait, we'll have to wait, we'll have to wait," in a rude tone.
I understand the tiredness and tension at 2:40 PM on a Sunday, but that's not the Casentino welcome.
We'll try again next time.

12/09/2025: My partner and I took a tour of Garfagnana and stopped here for lunch: an excellent choice!
We started with a delicious appetizer, including truly incredible fried porcini mushrooms—perfect frying, 10 out of 10. Next, we had farro soup and tagliatelle with mushrooms, both very tasty and well-prepared.
But what made the experience even more special was the lady who served us: extremely kind, friendly, and passionate. When I told her how much I enjoyed the savory tart on the platter, she brought me another piece... on their behalf!
An authentic place, excellent value, and a truly unique welcome. Highly recommended; it's exactly what you expect (and hope) to find in such a beautiful area!

01/05/2025: Il tempo si è fermato in questo luogo. Semplicità, cortesia senza finzioni, ottime materie prime, poca scelta ed è giusto così. Entrate senza pretese e resterete meravigliati dalla soddisfazione per un semplice panino fatto al momento ❤️
27/04/2025: Stavamo tornando a casa da una vacanza in Toscana, siamo passati per caso davanti a questa osteria e ci siamo fermati verso le 14.00. Locale semplice e un pò datato, ma gestito da un simpatico Pugliese trapiantato in loco da oltre 20 anni. Ci ha servito abbondanti affettati, formaggi e altre leccornie del luogo, con cortesia e simpatia e con un prezzo modestissimo.
Super consigliato. Gli Anconetani!!

02/08/2025: Gran bella esperienza .. un locale semplice gestito da marito e moglie (gentilissimi) dove si possono apprezzare vini di alta qualità ma anche alcuni senza spendere una follia.. qua fanno taglieri misti con diversi tipi di formaggi .. ottima la mortadella di prato e la soppressata .. peccato che non accompagnano il tutto con un po’ di pinzimonio o delle verdure .. allora avrebbe meritato la 5 stella !!! Comunque eravamo in due abbiamo preso il tagliere grande (ci sono 3 dimensioni) 3 calici di vino e una mezza di naturale tot. 32,00 euro accettano carta … posti auto in zona ma bisogna girare un po’ per trovare posto.
02/08/2025: A truly wonderful experience... a simple place run by a very kind husband and wife team where you can enjoy high-quality wines and even some without spending a fortune. They do mixed platters with different types of cheeses. The mortadella di prato and soppressata are excellent. It's a shame they don't accompany everything with a little dip or vegetables... then it would have deserved 5 stars!!! Anyway, there were two of us, so we ordered the large platter (there are 3 sizes), 3 glasses of wine and a half glass of still wine. Total: €32.00, they accept credit cards... parking spaces in the area, but you have to walk around a bit to find a spot.

25/10/2025: Cute little place to have a “home cooked” meal. We had the traditional Tuscan soup and it was tasty. For dessert we both had the sour cherry ricotta gelato and found it refreshing. Service was great! They had tables outside too which looked delightful but it was a coolish day so we sat inside. There is a jukebox which is kinda fun.
29/08/2025: The place is not up to par with the town, but it's truly amazing... mediocre food and very slow service... I don't recommend it.
