04/11/2025: Top aperitifs when max makes them!

11/10/2025: I just went to Gaetano's to get a tray of pastries, spending €38. The pastries are always delicious, but the girl at the cash register, someone who's worked there for years, never says hello! Probably, for some strange reason, she doesn't like me, because I see that other people say hello and even smile at them. To me, not even a hint, not a thank you, nothing! Nothing at my initial hello, nothing at my final hello, nothing at my thank you, nothing! She even avoided looking me in the eye. What's wrong with her?! I understand the likes and dislikes a person can have, but politeness is the foundation. Also because I'm a regular customer, I often go there to get trays, spending a lot, and I'm always polite, always saying hello and thanking them, but this makes me want to never set foot in there again!

10/11/2025: A place to be and indulge in simple, honest Tuscany cuisine - what a pleasure to had the chance to get a sweat spot on a Saturday for lunch. We come back!

05/10/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant in the historic center of Sarteano, and what can I say? It was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was homey, and the owner offered us delicious Cinta Senese ham as an appetizer. We ordered: a platter of cured meats and cheeses, pici all'aglione, ravioli with butter and sage, baked potatoes, biscotti and vin santo, red wine and coffee. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair. We'll definitely be back!

02/10/2025: Wow, went there last night for a meal, ended up having three course, staff were amazing, food excellent, atmosphere was perfect, even with a little shop poodle dog lol 10 out of 10👌🏼

27/08/2025: The cream puffs are heartwarming, and the rice puddings are absolutely excellent. The coffee is good, and the staff is friendly (unusual in this area). The desserts are a little more expensive than usual, but they're generous in size!

15/11/2025: We had a cappuccino and a croissant. Everything was very good and the service was excellent.

19/07/2025: During our stay in Piombino we ate at Mastarna twice, delicious burgers, delicious fried foods and top-notch beer, very kind staff, beautiful place, worth trying.

13/12/2025: We ordered takeout pizzas and when we picked them up we were told that the order had been forgotten. Embarrassing.

21/11/2025: For my personal tastes it is the one I prefer in Massa, without taking anything away from others, but for me the quality/price ratio and type of coffee is already top

19/06/2025: Come scelta per la prima cena dell’anno al mare non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Ottima location, cordialità e attenzione. Anche la qualità del cibo era buona, per vegani scelta limitata e bassa qualità, sicuramente c’è potenziale per fare un po’ meglio.

19/06/2025: Purtroppo rispetto agli anni passati la qualità dei piatti è scesa. Il rapporto prezzo qualità non è più in linea. Buoni i dolci.

04/11/2025: Fancy King is a historic establishment, present in Prato for 30 years, and is 100% Prato-based. It's fun to walk in and notice the local sayings on the walls, the Ciao Rosso greeting you at the entrance, and the cheerful staff. Everything is delicious, but above all, don't miss the dessert: excellent and made on-site!

31/10/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant: burnt/charred Swiss beef with a slice of cheese on top, mashed potatoes that tasted like anything but potatoes, cod, and water. TOTAL: €36.00. But it's not the €36.00 itself, but the quality of the food, the service, and the location that don't justify such a high lunch price. Avoid it at least for lunch. Maybe they'll change the menu and prices for dinner. I hope so.

03/08/2025: Su especialidad es Tagliatelle que se baña en un trozo circular de pecorino. Deliciosa comida y espacio cubierto al aire libre.

05/07/2025: El mismo día que llegamos a la Toscana decidimos ir a un restaurante cercano recomendado por el hotel. Llegamos al establecimiento donde mi hija de 11 años (que habla Italiano con fluidez) se adelantó y preguntó si podían hospedarnos a los 4. El anfitrión inmediatamente comenzó a maltratarla, en voz muy alta, preguntándole si no era capaz de levantar el teléfono y llamar para solicitar una reserva, entre otras ofensas. Se aseguró de que todo el restaurante pudiera escucharlo e incluso después de que salimos del restaurante pudimos escucharlo haciendo bromas sobre nosotros y los clientes riendo. Seamos claros aquí: si logras ser cruel con un niño, no es un rasgo de personalidad ni tampoco se trata de que no te importe lo que piensen los demás. ES SIMPLEMENTE CRUEL Y MALVADO. Y los clientes que se ríen son igual de malos. Por lo tanto, te sugiero que si lees este post y estás en Montefollonico evites este restaurante o, si lo prefieres, pases por allí, pidas una mesa y cuando te traten mal respondas en el buen y viejo Italiano: VAFFAN… C. U. ¡¡¡L.O!! !! !
