26/12/2025: I'm getting to the age where I only judge the quality of a pizza at night.... With this one, I had the whole night to decide how poor the ingredients were.

07/02/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance. The music in the dining room was a bit loud, the waitresses were kind, and then came the surprise: the pizza, a unique experience. It's been a long time since I've smelled the scent of raw olive oil on pizza. I'm writing this review 12 hours later. I slept great, no thirst, excellent digestion, and no bloating. Then I discovered they specialize in fish, and not only that... I'll try it... It's a shame about the sparkling water; the machine broke, but it's justified by the excellent dinner. Congratulations. I'll be back.

13/12/2025: We ordered takeout pizzas and when we picked them up we were told that the order had been forgotten. Embarrassing.

12/10/2025: I had a simple pasta with tomato sauce that changed my day, compliments to the chef and I will return, we also ate the fish, delicious!

10/09/2025: The food quality is excellent. However, the service is slow and a bit inattentive, which could be improved. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

23/10/2025: We found it by chance. Near the center. Super cheap. They're very friendly and fast. You order at the bar first, then pay in the cigar section. Locals from the neighborhood come here; you can feel and share the spirit of Florence. We were there having breakfast for a while, and several locals came in, talking about their things. Wonderful.

11/01/2026: Historic wine shop in the center of Lucca. The owner is very kind and friendly. He recommended "our spritz," which is nothing like the standard version you find everywhere else... Definitely worth trying!!! We really appreciated that he immediately asked if we needed water for the dog! 🙏😊 Thanks again!

08/10/2025: Bar located in the central Piazza Carducci in Rosignano Marittimo. Excellent cocktails and equally delicious aperitifs. Not to mention the classic coffee products.

14/12/2025: We ordered two Negronis, which were listed at €5 each on the menu, and a bowl of Ascoli olives listed at €3. Despite this, the final bill was €22, with a €9 difference that we couldn't figure out where it came from. The only thing we hadn't specifically ordered were some rather old chips brought with our drinks, which perhaps were charged without any communication. The overall experience wasn't a positive one: the place, despite it being a Saturday night, was completely empty, and much of the food listed on the menu was no longer available, except for the fried food. Furthermore, when we entered, there was a strong smell of cigarettes, meaning someone had been smoking in the dining room. All things considered, I wouldn't recommend this place.

28/02/2026: Precooked pici, practically mush, terrible sausage, hopefully not spoiled, freezing cold place, no heating, and the front door constantly open. The cheeses were good. Poor value for money, €100 for two.

09/02/2026: November 2025, a friend of mine and I, who was passing through, stopped to eat here. I'm writing this review to criticize the cheesecake, which is actually a spoonful of cream with sprinkles on top. 7 euros is crazy, and also the second course I had, the cheek, if I remember correctly, was a small portion.

18/08/2025: On Sunday, my husband and I went in around 11 a.m. for coffee. I wanted a cappuccino, but the milk frother's steam wands were three inches thick, and it gave me goosebumps.

20/07/2025: Every time we're in Cinquale in Versilia, Bar Elio becomes our regular breakfast spot. And we don't mind if we have to wait a bit to see each other and enjoy the pastries. We're always more than happy to do so. Everyone behind the counter is always smiling; everyone, despite not having a second off from their busy schedule, always has time for a joke and a kind word. Which makes the pastries and drinks even more special. And look for a young Djokovic if you can find him!!

05/07/2025: El mismo día que llegamos a la Toscana decidimos ir a un restaurante cercano recomendado por el hotel. Llegamos al establecimiento donde mi hija de 11 años (que habla Italiano con fluidez) se adelantó y preguntó si podían hospedarnos a los 4. El anfitrión inmediatamente comenzó a maltratarla, en voz muy alta, preguntándole si no era capaz de levantar el teléfono y llamar para solicitar una reserva, entre otras ofensas. Se aseguró de que todo el restaurante pudiera escucharlo e incluso después de que salimos del restaurante pudimos escucharlo haciendo bromas sobre nosotros y los clientes riendo. Seamos claros aquí: si logras ser cruel con un niño, no es un rasgo de personalidad ni tampoco se trata de que no te importe lo que piensen los demás. ES SIMPLEMENTE CRUEL Y MALVADO. Y los clientes que se ríen son igual de malos. Por lo tanto, te sugiero que si lees este post y estás en Montefollonico evites este restaurante o, si lo prefieres, pases por allí, pidas una mesa y cuando te traten mal respondas en el buen y viejo Italiano: VAFFAN… C. U. ¡¡¡L.O!! !! !

17/03/2026: Intimate environment and possibly the best meal I’ve had in Italy

17/03/2026: I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best meals/restaurants I've ever had in my life. I don't understand the negative reviews, because it doesn't deserve them. I happened upon it with my boyfriend while walking and we decided to try it without a reservation. The service was beyond welcoming, and we were seated right away. As soon as we arrived, bread and water were served immediately. Shortly after, Chef Alberto showed us and explained the first courses, and he was really helpful because he also gave us some recommendations. He suggested a wine that paired perfectly with what we ordered: cappellacci with ricotta and truffle and cappellacci with pears. We loved them from the first bite, so much so that I didn't even take photos; I just enjoyed them. You can tell Alberto and his mother cook with passion. Even the second courses had a very homey taste, like grandma's cooking, made with nothing but love. Thank you so much, everything was truly delicious. When we return to Florence, we'll definitely be back here again. Congratulations ❤️
