09/03/2025: Lunch break. Everything was fine except the wait, which was long (25 minutes) and made me worry I wouldn't be able to finish my meal before returning to work.

30/06/2025: I believe that in Montecastrilli, where I've been frequenting for over 50 years from nearby Farnetta, there has never been a pastry shop this good, especially the cream-filled pastries, profiteroles, babas, and meringues. Perhaps the tarts could be improved a bit. Overall, however, everything is very good. The staff is very kind and friendly, definitely worth a visit. Prices are excellent, but have risen a bit recently. If I may offer a piece of advice, keep your prices low and you'll have a large and enthusiastic clientele. Well done, and thank you.

09/12/2025: The pizza was really good and well-filled, the place was warm, and the service was fast. They messed up the final bill. Since there were a large table, they gave the receipt to the birthday girl, who had to make do with telling everyone how much they'd pay, and then we went to the cashier one by one... But wouldn't it have been quicker to just go to the cashier, tell them, and pay? Plus, they added dishes from other tables... Chaos!

08/12/2025: Enough of this!! Full of oil, it needs to be drier, a crash course for the chef NO?? At 11pm I still had oil IN THE MOUTH 🥺 such a terrible frito!! Never eaten it, yet indifferent staff... WELL DONE

06/11/2025: We love having an aperitivo here; I always ask for a fruit-based drink of their choice, and they always make it happen. The platters feature good local produce, and they also offer chips, taralli, and other treats. We'll gladly return if we're ever in the area.

21/10/2025: Il Giradischi is a little hidden gem in Pontedera, in the province of Pisa. A truly original venue that combines the spirit of a wine bar with that of a record shop, creating a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The aesthetic of the venue is meticulously crafted, with a jazz background that makes the experience even more enjoyable. The shop offers a good selection of CDs at very affordable prices, while the vinyl records, though fewer in number, are slightly above average, but I still managed to find a title I'd been looking for for a while, offered at the right price. Special mention goes to the young man at the counter, who was extremely kind and helpful: after my purchase, he even gave me a fabric shopping bag with the shop's logo, a useful and reusable gift that I really appreciated. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to stop for a glass of wine or to try their platters, but the atmosphere was so inviting that I'm sure I'll be back at the first opportunity. If you're a music lover and find yourself in the Pontedera area, I highly recommend stopping by—a place where passion, taste, and atmosphere come together perfectly.

08/11/2025: We ordered seven pizzas for delivery, and they forgot to bring one, misplacing the order even though we'd texted them the number of pizzas. We received the pizza over half an hour later. A very bad experience, and I'll never go back.

10/11/2025: My favorite place in Versilia. I always come here whenever I can for delicious spaghetti allo scoglio in the sun on the seafront!

28/09/2025: A somewhat so-so experience. We ordered three dishes from the menu, and they weren't there. After finishing our dishes, we had to get up to ask for dessert and the bill because, in both cases, no one was coming. It's a shame because from the little we spoke to the waitress, she seemed very nice and helpful. Plus, the food was good... so I'd like to go back, hoping for better service.

18/10/2025: The place is very cute, with beautiful painted ceilings. It's a shame the bar at the entrance doesn't fit the decor. The pizzas are very good, fragrant, and made with quality ingredients. The Nutella and mascarpone dessert pizza is truly delicious.

08/12/2025: Terrible, I paid 17 euros for a gin, I don't recommend the aperitif, it's expensive and the food isn't good, I won't go back there again.

01/12/2025: Spaceman IPA was good. Limited seating, though we were able to get a seat on a Saturday around 7pm. Lower rating from me solely due to the attitude of the lady behind the bar. We had a few questions about the offerings but felt she was annoyed and that we were a burden.

10/10/2025: A craft beer bar where they serve your beer in a plastic cup. If you confront the bartender about it, she'll lash out. Quite aggressive. Too bad, the beer is good.

09/12/2025: I had dinner with my wife yesterday, December 8, 2025. When we got home, my wife started having a stomachache and went to the bathroom several times. She was sick for several hours. The next afternoon, I had the same symptoms as my wife. I hope it passes tomorrow, because if not, I'll be forced to go to the emergency room and explain what happened to me. By the way, I'm not a doctor, but the fish I ate was definitely not fresh, or frozen and thawed several times. I will definitely never go to this restaurant again. And then they talk badly about Chinese restaurants!!! This restaurant's low prices, serving fish, means it's not quality. I spent €70 for two, eating all fish, a starter, a main course, a side dish, a drink, dessert, and a cover charge. I'm very angry because it's unfair to treat people this way. I admire restaurants that charge higher prices but serve fresh food more.

09/11/2025: I must say that, despite the beauty of the location, I had a terrible experience at Tenuta Sant’Ilario. We had booked a superior room on the first floor with two beautiful panoramic windows on the estate's website, but instead we were given a standard room on the ground floor with no windows (just a glass door). I immediately wrote to reception, and this was their response: "Good afternoon, look, we gave you a classic room for your dog, at least it was on the ground floor. We apologize for the inconvenience. As a matter of fact, we will waive the supplement for your dog's stay. Thank you again, Reception." In fact, we hadn't been informed of the supplement for your dog when we booked; in fact, we had been offered a free "Welcome Kit for our four-legged friends," which no one gave us. When I complained again to reception, they replied, "You're absolutely right, it was an internal mix-up within the reception staff who didn't inform us. We are deeply sorry." Unfortunately, the apology wasn't followed by any concrete action. The morning of my departure, there was a different person at the front desk who knew nothing about it and neither offered me a refund for the downgrade nor apologized for what happened. So, I paid the price of a superior room for a standard room, and no one did anything to remedy the situation. UNSPECIFIABLE.

12/10/2025: I went with a group, and the person who took us there said he'd met the owner while he was in the hospital. Considering how much we spent, not to mention the wine we were offered because of this "acquaintance," I wasn't very satisfied.

02/10/2025: Neighborhood brasserie-style restaurant. The service is very good.
