02/11/2025: Seriously... You don't even know what pastry is, but your customers obviously settle for just that. As a Catania native with a familiarity with (real) pastry making, I'd advise you to avoid saying that the one in the photo is a cassatella... It's a huge cake soaked in syrup, practically everything soaked, including the ricotta. The icing isn't icing, but a bit of powdered sugar dissolved in water. As for the other pastries I chose... Let's draw a veil over them.

20/01/2026: The pizza was delicious, fresh, and inexpensive. Drinks were relatively expensive. The young waiter was very friendly and attentive. Thank you.

08/03/2026: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED...!!! Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. Lunch was arranged ahead of time with L'Oste for today, costing €25, including "appetizer - 2 first courses - water/wine - coffee." Having mentioned that a vegetarian was coming, he had neither the good taste nor the ability to propose a variation to the agreed-upon menu, limiting it to just one first course, in addition to the inevitable exclusion of salami and animal products. During lunch, L'Oste proved unprofessional and clearly annoyed by the requests for the agreed-upon portions. The portions weren't enough for all diners, neither for appetizers nor drinks. The climax came when we noticed that the Coca-Cola served in glass bottles had expired. At the end of the meal, not even the agreed-upon coffee was served.

08/03/2026: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! Today, March 8, 2026, I was hoping to spend a peaceful Women's Day and, above all, enjoy a good lunch in beautiful Scicli. NO. Unfortunately, I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life! First of all, the owner, lacking in politeness and empathy, already knew in advance that I'm a vegetarian and that I'd be dining there with a large group of friends. Despite this, he showed no interest in trying to change one of the two first courses on the menu because they were meat-based. Nevertheless, I overlooked it and, out of politeness, I accepted! Except that during the appetizer, I noticed that not only was there a lot of salami, but the attention was focused on the portions, practically rationed out to the diners. Not to mention his annoyed and irritated facial expressions when we asked for wine and water. AGREED! The icing on the cake was realizing the expired Coke. In short, I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OSTERIA. If you have to eat in Scicli, get a good sandwich from anyone or anywhere else, but NOT THIS!

11/11/2025: The restaurant is run by an Italian and a Polish woman (both serving customers). The menu is in Polish. It's tucked away in a quiet area. It's quiet and peaceful. Plenty of tables. The food is delicious, just like in Italy. I highly recommend it.

10/11/2025: The ambiance is wonderful, located in a dreamy area, very close to the Greek Theatre of Taormina, and across from the small Church of San Domenico. The atmosphere is very welcoming; there are always musicians wandering around the restaurants, adding a vibrant touch to the dining experience. I enjoyed the food; I tried three dishes: eggplant parmigiana, pasta with shrimp, and grilled clams. My favorite was the grilled clams.

06/10/2025: Prices are now rising uncontrollably, however they use double zero flour for pizzas and bread, the special ones are absurdly expensive. I've changed bakeries like many other customers, what a shame.

06/07/2025: Cena eccellente! Piatti curati e gustosi, ingredienti di qualità e servizio impeccabile. Atmosfera piacevole e rilassata. Torneremo sicuramente!

06/11/2025: As a tourist, you absolutely MUST try the pistachio ice cream. It's the best ice cream I've ever eaten, even though I don't usually like pistachio ice cream. Absolutely sensational!

27/11/2025: A lovely bar, truly charming, although the outdoor area, always covered and semi-enclosed, is strictly non-smoking. It's hard to say and write that. They could even do without these people who smoke, since they might just get up and smoke outside, especially since there's sometimes no room inside, so you're forced to sit outside. Otherwise, no complaints, a truly lovely bar, and everything you order is truly delicious.

20/01/2026: Prices are perhaps slightly above average, but it's absolutely worth it, the quality is high and the location is truly breathtaking, especially at dinner... excellent

16/11/2025: We came to eat on Sunday for lunch, what can I say? The starter was excellent, varied and fresh. The busiate pasta with pistachios, prawns and sea urchins was spectacular. The staff was attentive, fast and kind. We will definitely be back.
