19/07/2024: Qualità e servizio eccellente. Serviti dal signor Paolo persona gentilissima, cordiale , simpatica, e soprattutto disponibile. Da Nostra usanza non torniamo mai dove già siamo stati, ma qua torneremo con molto piacere. Pesce fresco e piatti super Consigliatissimo!!!!!

13/10/2023: We came to Stromboli by boat for the afternoon. Our captain recommended Da Giovanni. We ordered a pizza alla Norma and an octopus salad. The octopus was tender and tasty. The pizza!!! The crust was so light and delicious we ate the entire pizza. I highly recommend!!

09/10/2023: finalmente dopo 2 anni dall'ultima visita siamo tornati a stromboli, e uno dei motivi per cui siamo tornati è certamente la spettacolare pizza di Giovanni. Materie prime di eccelsa qualità, prezzi ottimi e sopratutto la grande cortesia e gentilezza di Giovanni, che ci ha anche offerto una Malvasia bio e a chiusura locale si è intrattenuto in una piacevole chiacchierata!

21/08/2024: I have been coming on holiday to Pozzallo in the Pietre nere area for 20 years. For us it is a perfect reference point with delicious breakfasts, rotisserie and sandwiches. Even better are the truly honest prices that we don't find in other places. Very clean and welcoming environment. The owner and all the staff are very kind. 😀

15/08/2024: Having come for the first time some time ago, we fell in love, like good Sicilians, with cassatina with sheep's ricotta. With a creamy, fresh, intense consistency that melts on the palate, giving you a sweet cuddle. We returned with the curiosity to taste again that goodness that did not disappoint us. Together with the cassatina we wanted to try a particular ice cream that struck us at first glance, gold flavour, and a refreshing and delicious mix of lemon, almond and saffron ice cream. Exceptional combination. Not happy, we also wanted to try a peach sorbet with honey walnut ice cream and caramelized walnuts on top. What can I say, everything was perfect from the tastes to the comfortable, elegant, quiet environment and an excellent, efficient, friendly and smiling staff who paid attention to detail.

15/08/2024: Unbeatable place to have breakfast. The perfect brioche, but highly recommended above all the cream cannoli. 10/10. During rush hour, it gets crowded and you have to wait, but it's worth it. Very good attention from the waiters.

22/08/2024: The restaurant is located downstairs in one of the most beautiful squares in Ragusa Ibla, a stone's throw from the Duomo. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The dishes we tasted are typical Sicilian cuisine. All very good, delicious. In particular, I recommend the baby octopus and the Sicilian tuna. Excellent. True flavors of Sicilian cuisine

20/08/2024: Evening to forget! Very nice location, food okay but not enough to make up for the incompetence of the service. Our kids waited from 8.30pm to 10.45pm to get their food.... upon the third reminder to the waiter I hear him reply: ah but so can we send the dishes forward? We felt cheated! And no gesture of understanding from the owner....€5 discount for waiting. A little advice: less chatting with passers-by, fewer cigarette breaks and more attention to the customer.

16/08/2024: The review itself is neither about the service nor the food because we did not have the opportunity to dine in this restaurant and, I would say, LIKELY. In mid-July I called the place to book a table for 8 for Sunday 21st July. Let me start by saying that I am from Trapani but I live outside and with me I would have brought people who came on holiday with me. Unfortunately, however, on the 19th they canceled our flight and, therefore, we were unable to reach Trapani in time for the booking I had made a few days before. As early as Saturday I start calling the place to cancel the reservation, which I ALWAYS do because I have respect for the people who work the way I work and, furthermore, it's a question of good manners. The fact is that I receive no response to my calls, made both from my cell phone number and from my boyfriend's cell phone. The calls also extend into Sunday, but nothing: the restaurant doesn't answer. At this point, I put my soul at peace and after about 10 calls made between Saturday and Sunday, I resign myself. Until, however, on Sunday evening around 10pm I receive 3 calls from the restaurant number, which I don't answer because I'm busy. Not realizing the missed calls, after just under an hour I pick up my cell phone and here the impossible, the incredible, what would leave anyone stunned happens: an SMS which I attach below. At the sight of that message that leaves us stunned, as well as saddened, we try to call and guess what: we receive the answer we've been looking for for two days. The friendly owner started shouting on the phone saying that he doesn't answer "the numbers I don't know" and I wonder how a restaurant can work in this way 🙄 but, he's happy!! We explained that we had not yet reached Trapani, that we had called ten times and when we asked how he could dare write such a message he cheerfully said that we deserved it. For my part, although the message left me saddened, I can only say that you could also have a starred restaurant and not just a tavern, but if there is no respect towards the customer, empathy and above all dialogue you will not go anywhere and every attitude of this kind implemented is a step towards closing the shutter. I think it goes without saying that I will not recommend you as a place, not even to stop by and get a bottle of water.

16/08/2024: We had dinner on mid-August and had a great time. Welcoming atmosphere, dining room and kitchen staff together with Tonino, the owner of a unique friendliness in addition to the good quality and plentiful dishes. Beautiful evening. Excellent value for money. Should I return to Trapani this will be the my restaurant. Thanks Tonino

05/08/2024: Excellent ice cream shop a stone's throw from the central Via Fardella, easy to reach. You can enjoy the excellent ice cream while sitting at the tables. Friendly and courteous staff

13/05/2024: Bella la location, ma per il resto molto deludente. I primi piatti erano buoni ma non memorabili, i secondi invece erano incommentabili. Le polpette erano stantie e quindi immangiabili, la salsiccia era decongelata. Il servizio è stato buono merito della ragazza che ci serviva.
