20/08/2025: Beautiful location, very good food, the staff who recommended the wine to us were a bit controversial, but overall an excellent restaurant.

19/08/2025: Really good value for money. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because the pizza seemed a little smaller than at other restaurants. Everything was really good, both the fish, meat, and pizza.

22/04/2025: Die Küche hat ihre Highlights (Lamm) und ihre Lowlights (kalter Fisch serviert). Das Service ist bemüht, kommt aber nicht wirklich über einen mittleren Standard hinaus. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war die Atmosphäre. Man sitzt in einem in die Jahre gekommenen Wintergarten und das Lokal wirkt kalt. Hier scheinen auch nur Touristen zu speisen und keine Einheimischen, was wir in Italien nie als gutes Zeichen erlebt haben.

14/04/2025: Cenamos aquí por mi cumpleaños y tuvimos una noche muy encantadora. Las mesas de la pequeña terraza de la azotea están en un lugar muy romántico, con la cumbre del Monte Etna justo visible sobre los antiguos tejados. Fuimos muy bien atendidos por el personal y las opciones de comida y vino fueron algunos de los mejores que probamos en Taormina.

19/08/2025: The tavola calda is simply excellent! We tried freshly made arancini and cipolline, everything was delicious. The granita served with the brioche is also excellent, and the brioche was truly exquisite—and as a Frenchman, I can confirm this! A wonderful discovery for lovers of Sicilian specialties.

15/08/2025: Fresh, excellently cooked fish. The terrace offers a fantastic view of the churches and Piazza Italia. The young, friendly, and knowledgeable wait staff are incredibly helpful.

13/08/2025: We dined on the beautiful terrace overlooking the square. The atmosphere was relaxing, although at the end of the meal we had the impression of being in a restaurant designed specifically to tempt foreign tourists. The service was good; they even let us taste two wines before choosing the one for the evening. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, but the way they're prepared isn't; the presentation is the best. The roasted octopus was good, but the pasta with sardines (which we know well, since we're all Sicilian) was completely saltless and tasteless; we had to order salt to eat it. The other first course, pasta with baby squid, was flavorless. One of us ordered the catch of the day (garfish), and a small plate arrived with four tiny pieces of fish, a few cherry tomatoes, and a few olives, no other side dishes, all for €22. The mini cassata for dessert was average. The quality-price ratio (and quantity) could be improved.

11/01/2025: Miejsce jest niesamowite, zresztą jak cała Enna. Spędziłam w Enna jedną noc, w drodze pomiędzy Taormina - Villa del Casalle-Dolina Świątyń. To był świetny wybór. Urokliwe miasteczko z niesamowitym widokiem zapierającym dech, atmosfera lokalnego miasteczka z dala od turystów. Al Kenisa, lokal w budynku dawnego kościoła, w miejscu dawnego meczetu. Bardzo ciekawe są krypty, dla których odwiedziłam tą restaurację. Nigdzie nie mogę w sieci odszukać informacji o tym miejscu. Wyglądają jak rzymskie mitreum, może ktoś wie więcej na temat tego miejsca. Proszę piszcie w komentarzach.

24/08/2025: Nice place, right in the center, but for a gin and tonic, €32... The menu cost €18. They asked me if I wanted an aromatic gin, and lo and behold... €14 more! Definitely too much, especially without notifying the customer. €4/5 more is fine, but this is really excessive.

26/07/2025: It is very tasty and at normal prices (unlike in touristic areas). If you want to take it all away, they will pack it very well.

07/07/2025: The pastry and ice cream products are acceptable. The environment is not air conditioned and this makes it uncomfortable to taste the products. There should be more care and attention in the tasting areas. The environment is familiar.

29/06/2025: I was very satisfied with this place. The prices are really great, in fact the mixed roast horse (the one in the photo but missing the horse sausage) is in fact 13 euros. That horse meatball, the rolls but above all the sausage that melted in your mouth, were exquisite. The waiting times are very short, as everything arrived in about 15 minutes. I really recommend it, for those who want to eat out, well and spend little. I also recommend getting the mixed roasts (normal or horse).

29/07/2025: Lovely lovely terrace and setting. Food was below average for Italy, I would say. Nothing overly special. The front of house staff was kind and nice, however, our food took a whooping 45min to arrive to the table. The dishes we ordered were salad based and the restaurant was not busy at all which did not justify the tardiness at all.

21/07/2025: Run away, it's a tourist trap! The food is limited and the prices ridiculous: a small ham and cheese sandwich costs €8.80. The drinks also leave much to be desired, both due to the lack of drinks offered on the menu and the poor value for money. In short, a beautiful location with an excellent view, but the positive experience ends there.

02/05/2025: Delicious succulent meat! It will definitely quench your thirst for a great steak. Everyone is so nice and patient. My Italian is poor, but they worked with us and recommended a tasting comprised of 2 kinds of steak. Delicious and tender. If I can, I would definitely come back.
