06/06/2026: After the show at the ancient theater, even though it was late, they greeted us with a smile. Both the tagliolini allo scoglio and the pasta with swordfish roe were excellent. The courtesy of the waiter Ezechiele did the rest! Recommended

06/06/2026: At the entrance to Ortigia, an excellent seafood restaurant. Excellent appetizers and good first courses. Well-stocked wine list, attentive staff. Prices are reasonable.

09/05/2026: We were at Termini Imerese on May 1st, and it was one of the few places open around noon. We only came for a beer, but it was so pleasant that we ordered a selection of appetizers, which turned out to be really good. Italian beer (Nastro Azurro) and a foreign one (St. Benoit) were on tap. Time passed slowly, we were in no hurry...

11/07/2026: I couldn't order pizzas by phone. I was told there was no wait. I waited 40 minutes, and the pizzas weren't even good. I'll absolutely never order anything again! Anemic pizza and frozen products. I wouldn't wish anyone to eat in this place that's been stuck for 30 years.

12/07/2026: I stumbled upon this place, which has been serving coffee since 1936, completely by accident, and it was a great choice! I opted for the classic combination: traditional cannoli with ricotta and a delicious cappuccino. The cannoli was perfect – perfectly crispy pastry and a wonderfully flavorful filling. I also drank a delicious, perfectly frothed cappuccino with a pretty pattern on the foam. A true taste of Sicily! The café has a great location on Corso Matteotti, and the service is very friendly. If you're in Syracuse, be sure to check it out!

17/06/2026: What can I say...it's all delicious, then the sandwiches are truly super, I love the simplicity and the fact that they are only: tuna and mayonnaise, just salami and mayonnaise, ham and mayonnaise...etc. I appreciate the fact that they didn't invade them with vegetables like many do thinking they're doing the right thing but instead that's precisely the mistake!

10/03/2026: I was fortunate enough to book catering for my son Gabriele's 18th birthday with Mr. Gaggi of the Sciacca pastry shop in Acicatena. Everything was perfect: from the quality and abundance of the food, to the service, to the helpfulness and kindness. Anna Cerantonio Note: Perhaps if I had to find a small flaw, it was the lack of trays to store the remaining cake, but Mr. Gaggi somehow remedied even this issue!

09/07/2026: The bar was average. I had the hot food, and it was good. Another evening I was looking for ricotta cassatelle because they advertise having them express all day, but unfortunately the pastry chef wasn't there.

28/06/2026: NEVER AGAIN. This bar is a tourist trap. I ordered 20 pieces of rotisserie and a cassata weighing about 2kg for Friday at 8pm. The rotisserie pieces (baked calzones and arancini) were reheated despite my reservation (so the arancini weren't fried on the spot as I'd specified and were badly fried because they were yellow and anemic). The baked calzones were ALL in holes underneath, with the sauce leaking out. I paid €60 - €3 per piece. An INSANE price. In Palermo, the best bars charge no more than €2.30, and the quality is 100 times better. Inedible cassata, so sugary, cost 50 euros (25 euros per kilo of mango at a jewelry store). 20 "requariati" pieces, 1 cassata and 2 pieces of realistic fruit for the child: 120 euros... I'd like to see if you charge the same prices to your fellow villagers...

14/10/2025: Came here on a whim. Best pizza I’ve had in Sicily! We actually came back again! That’s how good it was! Can’t wait to return when we visit Sicily again!
