11/04/2025: Great cafe, nice and clean with modern decor and good bathroom facilities. We had a savoury, two pastries and two coffees, all tasty and for a good price. Service was very good.

14/04/2025: Locale di gusto e buona cucina ero stato portato qui da colleghi catanesi e avevo mangiato molto bene. I prezzi erano alti ma valeva la pena tornare e infatti sono tornato d ad solo e con grande sorpresa mi hanno fatto sedere in un tavolo all’angolo della sala davanti al muro. I piatti portati erano miseri rispetto alla volta precedente. Gamberi microscopici evidentemente prodotto surgelato da supermercato. Vino portato già versato nel bicchiere. 40 minuti per avere un piatto di pasta mentre cameriere e proprietario si pavoneggiano ai tavoli degli amici. Non adatto a clienti occasionali solo amici fidati

02/06/2025: Everything was perfect: the setting, the sea view (splendid at sunset), the courtesy and friendliness of the very young but well-prepared staff, the original and very good pizzas. The only flaw was the reconditioned water and the dirty bathrooms... I agree that it was Sunday evening and therefore used by many people since the morning, but they should provide for continuous cleaning especially on the busiest days. It's a real shame because instead the whole place, including the covered veranda and the tables on the little square in front, are clean and well-kept.

11/05/2025: The room was one floor up the stairs. No one accompanied me or carried my suitcases. I looked out the window and saw a man taking drugs on the sidewalk. Parking was very difficult. Austere breakfast. I would not return.

06/05/2025: Ottimo ristorante bistrot provato il 1 maggio aveva un menù stabilito ho informato lo chef il giorno prima delle mie intolleranze, ha preparato tutto un base alle mie esigenze. Tutto ottimo. Locale piccolino conviene prenotare , pulito e ben luminoso

14/02/2025: Twenty years ago, or so, I entered Di Vincenzo's for the first time. Since then it has been an obligatory detour when I am near the mountain, Etna. Arriving in Bronte is a unique experience: those who have never seen pistachio trees find themselves faced with an incredible landscape in every season. They have always reminded me of Mondrian's tree, with those downward curves of the branches. Di Vincenzo is on the road, you can't go wrong. You enter and never want to leave again. For the record: there I tasted my first real pistachio ice cream, which can now also be found in other ice cream shops. Not the almost psychedelic green I was used to, but a hazelnut with hints of green and violet. And a unique taste. Speaking of pistachios. Those of Bronte are oblong. And they have purple skin: the others that are on the market and pass themselves off as Bronte pistachios come from Iran or in any case from the Middle East. The taste of Bronte pistachios is unique and inimitable. And you can take it home: Di Vincenzo's specialty are the boxes with almond pastes and pistachio pastes, but don't leave there without a pistachio cake. It doesn't look like anything else (vaguely reminiscent of the hazelnut cake typical of Piedmont, in terms of processing and humidity, if you really have to compare it to anything). And it is so particular that it even deserves a telephone order first, to avoid the risk of not finding it.

26/03/2025: I like to leave a great review when I find a lot of choice in a bakery and above all kindness and a smile from the person serving the customer (something that I unfortunately don't often find in other bakeries/groceries in Sicily). In this case the lady who served me was very polite and the scaccia was excellent

15/03/2025: It is a historic bakery in Cassibile that has kept the place as the shops were many years ago. Their bakery products are excellent. Furthermore, Easter panettone and colomba cakes deserve every last cent spent: fragrant, simple and good products that surpass even those of well-known pastry shops. The diner deserves: from arancini to "vote vote", to pizzas, to focaccias.
