The real plus, however, is the atmosphere: Laura's smile is always there at the bar, along with Massimo's unwavering courtesy, making you feel right at home. Attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere, and consistent quality. Highly recommended!

07/05/2026: Authentic Sicilian! We had seen the reviews and went there with high expectations. When we entered we saw a menu with panini and hamburgers...We stood for a long time trying to choose when the lady came over and decided for us! She explained educationally in Italian for us Swedes who don't know the language. We got vegetarian, pasta al forne and more, and everything was so good! Very satisfied and we highly recommend it to others who want to eat authentic homemade food!
02/04/2026: Only saw locals eating here which is always a good sign. They had the panelle and arancina (white or red filling). Definitely get the iris donut (filled with chocolate and ricotta). Like other reviews have said the Nonna is super nice and friendly. We communicated using Google Translate. There are 3 four-top tables but be a Palermitano and sit with a stranger. This restaurant sits at an intersection which Nonna called “casino” (translation hot mess).

01/06/2026: The restaurant is on the seafront, so it has several outdoor seats that overlook the beach, making the view more than pleasant.
Large interior.
Unimpressive service.
The raw fish is of good quality, and the fresh pasta is delicious, but the sea urchin sauce, like the swordfish one, is decidedly "flat" and lacks any real flavor... what a shame!
Cover charge for two, one appetizer, two first courses, one second course, two glasses of white wine, one water, two coffees: €100.00
03/05/2026: Informal atmosphere, good classic pizza without too many pretensions, fresh and excellent quality fish, normal prices. Recommended.

12/04/2026: Excellent bakery where you can find everything from pastries to food courts and cafes. You can have excellent breakfasts or stop for a midday snack.
24/02/2026: This bakery also offers a self-service takeaway, meaning you can eat there because they have tables available, both inside and outside under a covered veranda. The food is excellent, and we go there often, especially on Wednesdays when Santa Croce Camrina has its market. I highly recommend it!

17/04/2026: Overpriced, small portions and one of the worst meals I’ve had in Italy. I’ve never had a plate of pasta and immediately needed to eat a second to fill remotely full. I questioned paying €11 for aubergine parmigiana that was smaller than a deck of cards.
