05/10/2025: I went to this place for lunch, and unfortunately, the experience wasn't the best. We ordered three Heineken beers, but they only brought us two, while the third was replaced with another, more expensive brand, with the explanation that the Heinekens had run out, but without any warning. For the children, we ordered two burger menus (which were supposed to include fries and water), but we found a bottle of water added to the bill for €3, even though it was already included on the menu. We had also requested a sandwich without onions, but it arrived with onions inside. When we reported it, the staff was unhelpful—they asked us how we wanted to resolve the issue since the child was hungry. We simply asked for the onion to be removed, but obviously the flavor remained. Overall, a nice place, but slow service and a lack of professionalism in handling requests and customers. It's a shame, because with a little more attention, it could be a good place.

20/09/2025: After years, I finally had the chance to try this place, and honestly, I'll definitely be back. Quality meat, gluten-free bread that's crispy on the outside but soft to the bite, with no strange aftertaste, and goes down easily, unlike other types of bread. Very nice location, I sat outside, the welcome was warm and friendly, and the staff were very helpful. Congratulations!

01/07/2025: A place located in the historic center, next to the Vittorio Emanuele theater of Messina, without too many pretensions and without the necessary search for an elite clientele. I drank a good alcoholic cocktail but the strong point in my opinion is the food. I ate a vegetable tart with a bechamel glaze that was really excellent, I'll go back for a nice tasting.

27/09/2025: We went last night to Gna Sara, a restaurant that recently moved from the center to the outskirts of San Vito Lo Capo. I'm giving it three stars for: the distance—it's about 1 km and 800 meters from the center, making it difficult to get there on foot; the service isn't perfect, and the manager is a bit gruff; the atmosphere is decent, with plenty of space, but it becomes less practical in the rain. The restaurant is usable in the summer. We ate well. I didn't like the choice to put raw cherry tomatoes in the busiate dish... but that's a matter of personal preference. The quality/price ratio is fair.

29/09/2025: I'm speaking for myself about this restaurant, and as a tourist. Unfriendly waiter, threw away the dessert menu. Pretended not to speak English so as not to understand what we were saying. The octopus dish was okay, but not what was served with it. The croutons were slices of bread, and the vegetables were cooked salad with salt. The hake itself was good, but the sundried tomatoes, olives, and capers were omitted. It's a small factory, not a restaurant. Many products are frozen, but in their defense, it's written on the menu. Of course, no one ever asked us if the dishes we ate were to our liking; that's hardly their problem. They're probably much more attentive to locals than tourists. In short, a bad experience for us... even though we ate a lot. Waiting for an explanation that will never come!!!

18/09/2025: Great stay at Hotel Arcangelo. Close to the center of Marina di Salina, the port and shops are easily accessible. The room was perfect, large, with a beautiful bathroom. The pool is very welcome after a day exploring the island. The view is magnificent. The service, the breakfast, everything was perfect! Many thanks to all! I recommend it, and I won't hesitate to come back! Alice

07/08/2025: Très bel hôtel situé dans le charmant village de Scopello. La vue sur la mer depuis la chambre que nous avions choisie était superbe. Le petit-déjeuner et les dîners étaient délicieux — je les recommande vivement. La piscine était très agréable et originale ! Elle paraît plus petite sur les photos du site, mais en réalité, elle est suffisamment grande pour nager confortablement. Le jardin est absolument magnifique, et le restaurant du midi, à l’ambiance décontractée, offre une très belle vue sur la mer. Le service était chaleureux et très agréable.

Location (panorama mozzafiato che permette di vedere la splendida costa di scopello nonostante il ristorante si trovi in una zona collinare), servizio impeccabile e cortese, materia prima di ottima qualità e piatti presentati con un’idea dietro la preparazione, bilanciati e saporiti! Si intuisce che il lavoro dello staff è volto a dare il meglio per la clientela e questo è possibile soltanto quando si mette passione ed amore per il proprio lavoro. Molto cortese e piacevole anche il gestore del locale che ha permesso di concludere questa esperienza con un ulteriore sorriso! Consigliatissimo!

31/08/2025: Unfortunately, I have to edit my old review. Thanks for the stomach ache and the terrible impression I made on my friends. Aside from the brioche, everything was stale and reheated several times, especially considering the arancini and all the fried food. The mortadella inside the sandwiches was dark and unsightly, and we didn't even try them. As for the service, let's draw a veil over the waiter who took our order, who looked like he'd been sent to the gallows and didn't even come near the table as if we had leprosy. You've lost old customers today. Well done!

20/10/2025: I've known this place since I was a child, as it's a city institution. I don't go often, despite the food being good, because every time I've been there, I haven't felt welcomed. Let me explain. The kitchen works well, and the menu is varied and well-structured. The food quality is average, which is fine, considering the prices are also average. What lowers my review so much is the staff's lack of friendliness, especially one waiter who always seems angry (for as long as I can remember) and snaps at customers for practically nothing. Furthermore, the last time I was there, we had to ask five times before they let us order, even though we'd been there for an hour and the place wasn't even that busy. The behavior is typical of those who work hard, as if to say, "I still get paid because I have a lot of customers, whether I'm nice to you or not." This attitude is intolerable in a restaurant, in my opinion.

22/08/2025: Unfortunately, my "non-experience" was negative! At 9:30 PM in the middle of August, they were no longer serving anything except arancini, which, unfortunately, not everyone liked! What a shame!
