25/01/2026: I come to this bar often. The ricotta ravioli is excellent, distinguished by its thin pastry and generous filling, accompanied by a steaming, creamy coffee. The arancini with ragù have a rich meat filling and the quality is truly extraordinary. The granitas in the summer are exceptional. Excellent service.

30/12/2025: ⸻ A truly excellent experience at Bar Alecci! Every time, it's a testament to quality and deliciousness. Breakfast here is a true pleasure: the granita is exquisite, creamy, and authentically flavored, one of the best I've ever had. The brioche is delicious, soft, fragrant, and perfect with granita. All the other breakfast items are also excellent: fresh, fragrant, and generously filled croissants, with a selection to suit every taste. The ricotta cannoli are a must-try: simply fantastic: fresh, creamy, and delicately flavored ricotta, encased in a perfectly crispy wafer. The cream-filled panzerotti are also irresistible, soft and delicious—a true treat. Another great strength is the staff, always kind, smiling, and helpful, making you feel at ease from the first moment. Fast yet attentive service, customer service, and a wealth of courtesy. A bar that pays attention to every detail and where you can feel the passion for their work. Highly recommended for a quality breakfast or to indulge in a moment of pure pleasure. 01/01/2026: Very good service from the helpful, fast, friendly, and pleasant staff. The place was spacious and very clean. Service was prompt and the quality of the products was very good. I had two coffees and used the restrooms, which weren't 100% clean for 12:00 PM. I expected better hygiene. A wide selection of very good croissants, sandwiches, and toast. Hot and cold drinks.

26/10/2025: It's located in the center of Palermo, yet in a quiet corner, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of crowded tourist spots. The piazza is very elegant. You can enjoy a good breakfast, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly. A place that's also popular with locals.

22/10/2025: Although we were there almost every evening for an aperitif, the owners never acknowledged us, let alone returned our greeting. The Campari Spritz with side dishes (snacks) was always delicious.

26/11/2025: Excellent Sicilian home cooking, everything fresh and delicious. Mother and son behind the counter, very friendly and efficient. The clientele appreciates the offerings; doctors, tradesmen, housewives, etc., all are represented.

10/11/2025: Today I arrived for 3 euros of CROCCHĖ they tell me with 3.20 euros that makes 8 😬 are you kidding? I mean Giovengooo uhhhh best chip shops in Palermo 10. 20 cents Max.. You should eat in a restaurant

06/11/2025: The place is cute and the architecture is distinctive. Friendly staff. The wait time is normal. I didn't particularly like the mussels because there was too much tomato, but that's just personal preference. The pizzas are generally good, nothing extraordinary, but good. The prices are like in Milan, so normal for Milan, but for Pedalino I'd say a bit high... In Milan you might justify it a bit with the fact that the products aren't local, but here in the land where everything is locally sourced, the prices should be lower in my opinion!!! Cover charge is €3, let's talk about it.

19/08/2025: I found this place by chance, nothing special.... They told me on the phone that I could choose inside or outside upon arrival, but then they chose outside on a veranda, as they said!!! There are lamps overhead that give off heat and there is no air conditioning or ventilation. These open lamps are full of flies that fall onto the plates.... happened to my daughter. The bruschetta appetizer consisted of 2 fresh breads and 2 non-fresh ones, very hard. The pizzas were the same as those in Sicily (hard-boiled eggs everywhere), but the ingredients were fresh. I wouldn't recommend it, everything needs improving, even the welcome they give to local moms.

04/11/2025: A disappointing evening in every way. I had high expectations, but I left feeling bitter (and hungry). The dishes were bland and the portions tiny, especially considering the truly exorbitant prices. All of this contributed to a frustrating experience. The service was slow and inattentive: we waited interminably between courses without anyone bothering to check if everything was okay. In short: absurd prices, a terrible gastronomic experience. For the same amount of money, I could have eaten incredibly fresh fish elsewhere. Absolutely not recommended.

03/11/2025: I can't believe how exceptionally excellent everything about our experience was dining here. This is by far the best restaurant in the region! The food, wine and service is truly outstanding. We loved it so much we returned three times and when we come back we won't go anywhere else! The carbonara was delicious, the seafood was fresh and amazing and even the bruschetta was the best we have ever had. 😁 What made it most was the service, everyone was so friendly to us and the owner is the best person! We had an amazing time and would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to have the best food and service. Grazie mille!!❤️

06/01/2026: I'm shocked to read all these 5-star reviews. Reviews that lead poor unfortunates like us to trust and try these places. If you don't know anything about seafood, avoid reviewing. Terrible food. It was fresh when they bought it. Maybe 3 weeks ago. I tell you the mussels are dry, and you tell me you don't like them either. But you serve them to me on a plate. Even the walls know that fresh octopus is tough. Good. The octopus melted in my mouth. Not to mention the 35 euro worth of raw seafood, unspeakable. As for the first courses, I prefer to avoid them. A 120 euro bill for one of the worst meals in 42 years of life. It's Epiphany. I just wanted to have lunch out with my husband in a place that has always attracted me for its typical and cheerful decor. If I had gone for pane e panelle, I would have been more satisfied. Shame.
