30/09/2025: Had some chicken and it was a go to for locals and tourists like me. Very simple, moist and hit the mark. Was sold out in the first instance so they are clearly very good or do not cater for enough traffic (even though the place is sleepy )

09/09/2025: We had a wonderful experience here! The staff brought the chicken to our table and prepared everything for us outside—such kind and thoughtful service. Everything was done with a smile, and we felt truly welcomed. With Google Translate and a few gestures, we got by just fine. 03/01/2026: New Year's Eve 2025/2026: Terrible, it was raining inside, €100 per person and supermarket wine, we had to order wine from the menu, kindergarten music. Terrible experience.

15/08/2025: After ordering four granitas and four brioches, our order arrived 15 minutes later with only the granitas (which were already melting). After another 10 minutes, the brioches arrived (we had kindly asked for them to be reheated, but they were cold). The result: we ended up with melted granitas and cold brioches; the complete opposite of what we had planned. Not recommended!!!

14/10/2025: Came here on a whim. Best pizza I’ve had in Sicily! We actually came back again! That’s how good it was! Can’t wait to return when we visit Sicily again!

19/08/2025: I found this place by chance, nothing special.... They told me on the phone that I could choose inside or outside upon arrival, but then they chose outside on a veranda, as they said!!! There are lamps overhead that give off heat and there is no air conditioning or ventilation. These open lamps are full of flies that fall onto the plates.... happened to my daughter. The bruschetta appetizer consisted of 2 fresh breads and 2 non-fresh ones, very hard. The pizzas were the same as those in Sicily (hard-boiled eggs everywhere), but the ingredients were fresh. I wouldn't recommend it, everything needs improving, even the welcome they give to local moms.

01/03/2026: Wooow! This was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! Light dough with a crunchy crust, super digestible and for only €7! A must try if you’re in Castelluzzo!

08/01/2026: I went to Falena Marina with my family and had a pleasant experience. The restaurant is clean and has a beautiful sea view. The staff is courteous and helpful, and the service was prompt. The food was good, especially the seafood, although we weren't equally impressed with all the dishes. The portions were adequate and the prices were average. A good place for a quiet family dinner. It wasn't exceptional, but it's definitely worth a visit and highly recommended.

01/01/2026: Very good service from the helpful, fast, friendly, and pleasant staff. The place was spacious and very clean. Service was prompt and the quality of the products was very good. I had two coffees and used the restrooms, which weren't 100% clean for 12:00 PM. I expected better hygiene. A wide selection of very good croissants, sandwiches, and toast. Hot and cold drinks.

09/10/2025: I went to this chiosco as a tourist and was treated like a local. It seems to be a family business. You have all my respect. Delicious mandarinetto e tamarindo sciroppi.

26/09/2025: Chiosco Italia is a very nice café with a lively atmosphere and plenty of young people. They offer lots of fresh options like smoothies, salads, fruit, and yogurt, as well as all the classic coffee drinks. The cappuccino was excellent and only €1.80. We really liked it here—a great spot for a quick and refreshing break!

26/02/2026: It's out of date. Maybe they've changed management or I don't know what happened. It's best avoided. Let's hope it returns to its former glory. The bathrooms are already dirty in the morning for both men and women.

25/02/2026: The cassatelle are fantastic, truly among the best I've tried, with a creamy, well-balanced ricotta filling and a dry, light fried pastry that makes you want more. The café is simple yet welcoming, perfect for a sweet treat any time of day. The staff is friendly, and the prices are in the €1-€10 range, perfectly in line with the quality of the desserts. Recommended for those who love traditional Sicilian desserts.

24/12/2025: We visited this pastry shop last weekend, and I ate delicious desserts, as well as other savory treats, truly unique. But the real highlight was the artisanal panettone, purchased on the owner's recommendation and enjoyed at home. A surprise! I've never tasted panettone like this! The plain one and the pistachio cream-filled one were a delight! One-of-a-kind! I highly recommend buying them!

19/12/2025: Authentic pastries, excellent flavors. During this season, you'll find various types of artisanal panettone, both filled and plain. A must-try!

25/01/2026: Service is a disaster. Zero customer service.

18/01/2026: We had a reservation for 12:00 on New Year’s Day, but were not seated until 12:47. During this time, staff repeatedly told us it would be “another 10 minutes,” which was said multiple times without any clear update or honesty about the delay. While waiting, we could overhear staff discussing that the owner had decided to open at 12 following New Year’s celebrations, and that several staff members did not want to be there. When we eventually entered the restaurant, tables were still being set up, and we were asked to wait in a seating area for a further extended period. Once seated, we were not provided with menus or offered drinks. After asking three separate times for menus—each time being told “five minutes”—a further 15 minutes passed with no service. At that point, we decided to leave. For an establishment that presents itself as high-end and holds a Michelin star, this level of organisation, service, and professionalism was extremely disappointing. Delays can happen, but poor communication, lack of basic service, and unprofessional behaviour are not acceptable at this standard. The experience did not meet expectations, and staff training and customer service clearly need improvement.
