25/08/2025: It's not just a bakery, but also a superb ice cream shop, a good pastry shop, a bar, and a deli with the option of consuming the products directly in the large dining room available to customers.
The staff is very friendly, and the owners are attentive and very helpful.
Very attractive prices and unquestionable product quality.
I had a great time.

15/08/2025: The place is very homely, we had grilled sea bream and spaghetti with clams, fried calamari and peppered mussels, all very good. The only flaw is perhaps the small portions, the quality/price ratio of this place is truly absurd! Recommended.

29/06/2025: Egoístamente no quiero correr la voz sobre este restaurante demasiado ampliamente porque tiene que ser una de las joyas culinarias de Catania. Las repetidas visitas han confirmado que Luciano y su hijo Piero saben exactamente lo que están haciendo para proporcionar mariscos frescos, pasta excelente y cualquier tipo de entradas a una clientela en gran medida local. La relación calidad-precio es excepcional, desde la comida hasta la bebida, y hay una carta de vinos decente. Es evidente que se trata de un restaurante de barrio, y aunque ese barrio –cerca de la estación de tren– podría no parecer demasiado salubre, sería negligente no comer aquí. Catania tiene tantos buenos lugares para comer, pero aun así esto es un punto destacado.
18/05/2025: La comida es realmente genial, el antipasto de marisco para compartir es muy fresco y abundante, el espagueti vongole es muy sabroso y las almejas son grandes. La casa se levantó del barril complementó muy bien los platos locales. También ofrecieron un licor complementario y galletas para bañarse para terminar el banquete. Totalmente feliz experiencia.

21/04/2025: È stato il ristorante di riferimento durante la nostra vacanza. Abbiamo più volte scelto di pranzare/cenare, non solo per la qualità e bontà del cibo, ma anche per la cordialità e disponibilità del Sig. Mimmo e dei suoi familiari.
Abbiamo apprezzato le tagliatelle allo scrigno, i secondi a base di pesce e gli antipasti tipici siciliani.
Porzioni abbondanti e gustose. Torneremo sicuramente

29/08/2025: Spectacular sandwiches. Not only for the niche, top-quality ingredients, but also for the combinations, which are always spot on. The "Bilbao" sandwich with cecina, brie, and tomato tartare is one of the best I've ever had. So is the "Nero" with Nebrodi prosciutto, tuma cheese, and mushrooms. The vegetarian options are equally delicious: a simple sandwich like the "Friuli" with potatoes, melted cheese, arugula, and mushrooms is just as impressive as the cured meat sandwiches. The place is welcoming, and the staff and owner are kind, attentive, and helpful. I highly recommend it.
05/08/2025: Sandwiches worthy of a Michelin star!!! Absolutely divine. We had the Panarea with shrimp tartare and Italiano. Highly recommended!!!

04/07/2025: We had a truly wonderful stay at Parco Statella. The hospitality and care provided by Manuela made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The entire place has a magical charm, peaceful, authentic, and full of character. It was the perfect base for exploring the region, and we left with warm memories thanks to the atmosphere Manuela has created. We hope to return again someday maybe next time on our way to Etna!
25/05/2025: Delicious, local food in a charming restaurant on a beautiful property. We came 8 years ago on the recommendation of Sicilian friend who lives near Catania. We enjoyed it so much that we made a detour on this trip to go again. It is a set menu for a very reasonable price considering the quality of the ingredients, the careful preparation and large variety of dishes. We really appreciated the chef's choice menu that day, we could taste so many different dishes. First, a dozen! appetisers, each one wonderful. We took note of them because we did not want to forget any: Artichoke, olives, ricotta di buffala, mushrooms, hot bread, veal carpaccio with arugula, sausage and cured ham, fennel, pecorino with black pepper served with apple jam, pumpkin, local green vegetable with egg and shredded donkey meat (one of our favourites). Then we had two pasta dishes, an exceptional porcini mushroom pasta and another with pork ragu that was the best ragu we have ever had. Then there were three meat dishes, all excellent, black piglet sausage and meatballs and veal Marsala. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive, taking the time to present each dish and answer our questions about local products. We will surely be back. Highly recommend.

31/07/2025: Except for one night, we always dined at Pedalino, in restaurant La Borgatella, it was close by from our B&B and away from the busy city centers. Don't be scared of its remoteness, you'll find everything you need here at a reasonable price. The food is delicious. It's local, but they're super friendly and speak English. You can scan the menu on the spot with your phone, which takes away some of the charm, but it makes it easier to order in your own language. You can dine indoors or outdoors, but we preferred inside so you wouldn't have to worry about people smoking. Parking is easily accessible very close to the restaurant. So, highly recommended if you're staying in the area or just passing through, it's definitely worth dining here.

Todo el personal que trabaja en este restaurante encantadores desde el primero hasta el último. Giuseppe siempre pendiente de todo y de que cada detalle y cada persona esté atendida correctamente en todo momento. Si regresamos a Catania no duremos en volver a visitarlos. Nos encantó por su menú local su carta con precios razonables y su atención. Un abrazo a todo el equipo. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍

22/07/2025: Ho scelto la trattoria Al Faro per il mio compleanno, scelta decisamente azzeccata! Abbiamo optato per un delizioso Menù con vari manicaretti come antipasti, un primo con vellutata di cozze e patate, una frittura di paranza con merluzzi, triglie, cappuccetto ed il gambero di Sciacca, servizio impeccabile, tutto 10 e lode, complimenti a tutto lo staff!
