23/06/2026: Rude waitress and incorrect hours. They state that the restaurant closes at 3 PM, but at 2:30 PM they can refuse service even if the restaurant is open.

09/06/2026: We chose Pasticceria Matranga to create the ice cream cake for our son's baptism, and—as always—Pasticceria Matranga guarantees professionalism, friendliness, availability, and customer service. The pastry chef created a cake specifically for us. The result exceeded our expectations!

10/05/2026: Decent bakery in a residential area, but parking is difficult. Prices are higher than those of nearby competitors. The constant and persistent presence of beggars at the entrance is annoying.

14/08/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant, I'll start by saying it was my favorite... I can confirm that the staff is exceptional, very kind and professional. But I can also say that the lady at the cash register, in my opinion, is unprofessional and very attached to every penny, considering that my 15-month-old son accidentally broke a bottle of wine. She gave me the bill and charged me €26, telling me I had to pay. Of course, I also paid for the wine, and obviously the lady didn't realize that we left the two starters because they were brought out. She obviously shouldn't have put a table with a small child attached to the wine bottles!!! This place is absolutely not recommended for families with small children, obviously as long as the "lady" is present.

09/08/2026: If I could give a 0, I would have done so. I ordered pasta with scampi. Well, I didn't get scampi, but 4 small prawns and 2 large gambas heads, and then you pay 26 euros for this.

06/08/2026: The fish couscous was excellent, the meat couscous was very salty, full of turmeric and other ingredients, the meat was tough: inedible.

08/08/2026: "Can the dog come in?" "How big is it?" The owner looks at him a little annoyed. "Okay, sit here in this corner and maybe let the dog stay behind you." "Look, if it's a problem, we'll leave." The owner looks at us almost satisfied. "It's your choice." "Okay, goodbye." You can make the best granitas in the world (and I'm saying this for those who aren't Sicilian and read Sicilian granita), but if you can't relate to a customer, you'd better change your job. I'll never come back.

11/07/2026: The strawberry granita is unfortunately too sweet, a real shame for someone like me who loves pairing it with cream. The brioche, on the other hand, is very good; I've only had it reheated once (in that case, the crumb was still decent, but the texture was noticeably affected). A special mention goes to the staff: one of the younger guys is really helpful, quick, and polite.

04/06/2026: A lovely restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea. The service was impeccable, and even though we were a group of 12, we didn't have to wait at all. To top it all off, the meal was delicious. From fish dishes to pasta and risotto, it was flawless. A place to recommend without hesitation to any friends visiting Cefalù.

10/06/2026: The food was good (we tried the mixed cooked antipasto) and two types of pasta of the day. The only thing we didn't like was the octopus salad. The problem with the place, in my opinion, is the location, which could be improved both aesthetically and, especially, in terms of soundproofing. Having gone on a very busy day, I can understand the stress of the waiters, but having to wait 30 minutes and asking for the bill four times at the table is simply out of the question. Unfortunately, the bathroom only had one working sink, and there was a line to wash our hands.

24/05/2026: The food is good, I have to admit! The fish is fresh and delicious. It's a shame, however, that they don't offer a good alternative for those with specific allergies, gluten intolerance, or lactose intolerance. At a banquet where the daily menu is the same for everyone, you're forced to eat less than those who don't have these conditions. You stand there waiting for something you can eat while everyone else has devoured undoubtedly delicious dishes, because their answer is... this is what comes out of the kitchen and it's the same for everyone! So, my poor unfortunate soul, if you want to eat at this place, bring your own food because you won't eat it all! Not even dessert! Because they can't help you with that. Unfortunately, it was a banquet, and I couldn't help myself and choose another place more suited to my needs, but I think it's not a bad idea to try to adapt to what is increasingly common. It wasn't nice to see others eating and feeling inadequate! In the end, I got a risotto when everyone else had already finished dinner, and I was just getting started... But at least it was good!

13/04/2026: We had a short but very enjoyable stay at the Il Marchese Hotel & Spa. The hotel grounds are very well-maintained, and you can spend many hours in the sun by the pool or in the garden/on the terrace. The breakfast is excellent and was prepared with great care. The rooms are spacious and perfect for the hot summer months, as they offer welcome relief from the heat. The service was outstanding and incredibly warm! During the off-season, keep in mind that the restaurants in the area are not yet open. If you want to truly relax and enjoy some peace and quiet, a stay at the Il Marchese Hotel & Spa is highly recommended.
