07/03/2026: It's certainly not convenient if you're staying in the city center, but for true connoisseurs who truly travel all over Palermo, this bar offers experience, quality, and hospitality.
If you're on the way to Mondello, definitely stop here for the desserts and the courtesy.

30/05/2026: Directed here by a GenAI search for en route stop on the way to Mt. Etna, and we we had a tremendous experience. Ms Chiara was very responsive via email and we booked the Wine Tasting and Finger Food experience for four at 50euros per person. We were treated to a rose', two whites and three reds along with four small plates and a dessert. The property had a lovely view and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend to others with the utmost enthusiasm.

07/06/2026: The fried fish was good, the spaghetti with fish was good, the portions were decent, the pizza was not good...
01/06/2026: We ate there for lunch yesterday. The service was good because the staff were there, but the food was nothing special. Chips were soggy, reheated for hours, and soaked in oil. The fish was very poor, and the tuna sandwiches were even worse. We went because we remembered the pizza was good but the restaurant was awful. Not recommended.

02/04/2026: Unfortunately, Bar Valentino isn't what it used to be. The quality has dropped, the desserts were often inedible, and the staff... the girl who keeps washing pasta dishes in the bar sink... the tables were dirty, as was the floor. Perhaps they're short on staff. It's a shame...
26/02/2026: Located in the heart of Cassibile's main street, this café, rotisserie, and pastry shop offers quality products, freshly baked every day. Everything is delicious, and the staff is friendly, including the owner! If you're on Via Nazionale, stop by Bar Valentino!

12/01/2026: Absolutely nothing to say. I've been frequenting the bar for personal reasons since I was a boy, living in the area. Now that I'm a salesman with my own assigned area, I always stop by for something good to eat or a coffee. It's ideal, given the healthy atmosphere, with tables well spaced and somewhat private, for a quick negotiation with a client or to meet with my manager from Catania, who can't believe that even in Floridia, my hometown, there are bars and pastry shops like this where you can eat well, both for work and personal reasons. On Sundays, when I visit my relatives, I have to come and get a tray of pastries.

15/03/2026: Fishmonger's restaurant: we stopped here for the first time on instinct. The owners were delightful, there was a tank with all kinds of shellfish (including American clams). The place was clean, the staff friendly, and everything from the appetizer to the first and second courses was truly delicious, leaving a scent of the sea.
For anyone passing through, I recommend stopping by.
We'll be back because we had a truly wonderful lunch.
07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .

06/05/2026: I hate to leave this review, but stopping for lunch at Ragno d'Oro was a terrible choice.
I ordered an appetizer and two first courses, both bland, without seasoning, and awful. I sent back a salmon farfalle; it had no salmon, just cream and tomato. The fish appetizer also had NO FLAVOR.
I'm sorry, but beware of the absentee customer; not recommended.

03/06/2026: We were here for a day and walked here for coffee and a quick lunch! Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also had our 16 month old daughter with us and everyone at Caffè was kind and accommodating to her. Great cappuccino and sandwiches. Also nice that it’s slightly away from the huge crowds. Thanks!🙏☕️
26/05/2026: The cannoli are phenomenal, as is their coffee! All this is complemented by the friendly staff. We've stopped here several times, and we'll be back!
