06/10/2025: The Caldo Freddo was delicious, and the restaurant should focus solely on serving ice cream, because the rest was poor. The pancakes, both sweet and savory, were very average and tasteless, and the panini were just slightly warmed-up, tasteless bread—like something from a gas station.

06/10/2025: A plus for the tasty caldo-fredo (my favorite Sicilian dessert), but the very average pancakes (dry, the savory ones didn't even have butter, the taste was average), and the terrible panini (a warm roll with cold mozzarella and tomato) – such a filler. I think the sandwiches available at the gas station are better, a huge disappointment. Maybe this is just a place for desserts, but we were disappointed.

13/05/2025: We were recommended by our Airbnb to stop at this pizza place and I’m so glad we did. The owner was so nice and we enjoyed the food. We will certainly return.

13/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant with a stunning terrace to admire the most beautiful sunset in this area. We found the service very friendly, the seafood dishes high-quality and presented with impeccable care. Even the desserts were truly top-notch (must try)!!! Excellent value for money. 08/10/2025: The place is small and cramped, with cramped, uncomfortable spaces. It certainly doesn't help you enjoy the evening, especially when you're forced to wait a long time: our pizza arrived after an inordinate wait, despite the limited number of customers in attendance. When it finally arrived, the disappointment was even greater: the dough was raw in the center, hard to chew, and indigestible. Added to all this, the prices are decidedly too high for the quality offered. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this experience, neither for the food nor the atmosphere. Considering the ridiculous way you've blocked replies to this review, continue here!! I thought it was humiliating for you to add that the takeaway pizza box was for our beloved dog, who unfortunately also refused to eat it. Furthermore, the reservation was for 8 people, there were no changes. Regarding the pizza, it was actually not raw, it was anemic, it was dripping with water from the mozzarella, considering that pizzas with whole mozzarella in the center should be drained in the morning. I would like to add that our restaurant in Rimini is among the most renowned, with average prices, and since the product is very high quality, it would never cross our mind to offer a fork. That said, it would be enough to be more humble and accept criticism, especially constructive criticism!

13/10/2025: Sunday 13 October 2025 Convenient location at the top of Via Cavour in the centre of OrqIgia. We drank an espresso, two (small) white wines and two Poretti beers. It cost €17.80, which is pretty good considering the excellent service and central location.

28/09/2025: Unfortunately, my experience wasn't a positive one. I ordered fried calamari, which was disappointing: the fish wasn't fresh, it was rubbery, and it wasn't very palatable. When I expressed my displeasure, the owner was rude, rather than accommodating. I expected much better quality, both in the dishes and in the customer service.

22/09/2025: Let me start by saying that the place is nice and clean, but the management and customer service are TERRIBLE! I'd like to give it zero stars. When we arrived, we ordered a fried dish, specifying "fried calamari," NOT squid... the kind they often pass off to less experienced customers. Well, I received a shockingly plastic, rubbery, practically inedible fried dish (€18). Upon payment, I sincerely and honestly explained my disappointment and expressed my opinion to the owner, with the plate still intact. He, astonished, took a piece, chewed it for a minute, and then swallowed it. He began to disagree in an angry manner, muttering things I didn't understand, and finally said that he thought the fried dish was delicious. I completely distrust his honesty! I should point out that I would have paid anyway; I just wanted to let him know that they could have improved the dish (constructive criticism), but above all, for their own good. In short, outrageous treatment, and they didn't take a single cent off our bill. Don't eat fish if you go there. They'll never see us again, much to their delight.

14/09/2025: I was at La Locanda del Marinaio in Cefalù two weeks ago and it was fantastic! The food is excellent, with generous and incredibly tasty dishes, truly mouth-watering. 🍝🐟 The place is welcoming, and the owner Francesco is a wonderful person: kind, helpful, and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended to anyone passing through Cefalù.

12/09/2025: It was our night in Cefalu And we ended up having our dinner at this Restaurant. My God, What an amazing experience of flavours we had. I ordered their cod fish with Panko and eggplant mousse. It was so delicious. My husband had their fish pasta, which was exceptionally good. Though the portion size was small, I had still recommend this place for their delicacies

08/10/2025: If you want to experience authentic Sicilian cuisine, this is the place to go to. At the end of August, I spent a week in Palermo and ate here every day for lunch throughout my stay. This small restaurant is run by a genuine Sicilian senior lady and her son. During my visits there, I was not only able to enjoy the delicious food, but also able to have long chats with the very friendly and warm owners of the restaurant – even though I don't speak Italian, as I come from Germany (we communicated using the audio translation function of Google Translate on my smartphone). The prices of the food are unbeatable. The selection of food is great. In particular, I loved the Pasta and Arancini. The food is cooked freshly daily. An authentic Sicilian culinary experience!

02/10/2025: After a day in bustling Palermo, we returned to the B&B on Via Capuccini to grab a bite to eat in the area. D'Angelo Gastronomico was superb. It's a small restaurant with a few tables inside and a few on the sidewalk. Nonna is in charge and a particularly good cook. The dishes are what you'd expect from a Palermo home: delicious pasta, vegetables, arancini, and panzelle. Don't expect luxury or a fancy atmosphere, but feel at home in Palermo!
