Sono tornato in questo ristorante e dopo un anno posso riconfermare l'ottima qualità dei piatti (provato sia la pizza che il cous cous) così come tutto il resto: prezzi, servizio e location. Per me è imbattibile. E' vero, non c'è aria condizionata ma non mi è pesato molto.
15/08/2024: Pizzeria ne fait pas de pizza le midi, chaleur étouffante sous la véranda. Je me suis vu arrivé une assiette « cocktail de crevettes » en effet un monticule de sauce cocktail jeté à la louche sur les crevettes, écœurant. Pâtes trop cuites, coquillages trop cuits.

01/08/2024: Overall this restaurant is a hidden gem. The food creations (except for the cunzatizzi which I personally did not enjoy so much) are very creative and super tasty.
Unfortunately our entré had been forgotten and we had to remind them when the food came. The waitress was very sorry and wanted to bring some bread as consolation which also didn't arrive :(
The ambience and the design were beautiful.
31/07/2024: Wonderful service, but the pizza is very small, thick and tasteless. The spaghetti with vongole cooler was served cold, it was not even warmed up on request 🫠 we will definitely not be coming back to eat it...not even to drink because of the 7 euro 4 deciliter warm beer...minus 5 stars

28/10/2023: We stayed in this place for two nights in a row in August and returned to the hotel full and satisfied.
On the first evening we ordered two aperitifs that were on the menu while on the second evening a truly very good pineapple spritz was specially prepared for me.
Both the cunzatu bread and the bruschetta and panelle passed with flying colors
I advise :)
17/09/2023: Sono stata in questo locale con amici ,abbiamo fatto un aperitivo rinforzato ,tutto molto buono tagliere ,bruschette ,panel le e tanto altro prodotti ottimi e di buona qualità ,vino e cocktail perfetti lo consiglio!!!

Mixed fried food as proposed, reheated, is best avoided.

If you want to taste the best Pignolata, (a typical Messina dessert) you must necessarily come and taste what Tanino Saccà, a true master pastry chef, prepares almost every day. The Cannoli are very good, both the classic ricotta ones and the gianduia ones. The care with which the cannoli are prepared is enhanced by the use of peels still prepared by hand in the same pastry shop, renouncing the use of industrially produced peels, which, unfortunately, are now widespread.

The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and the quality of the products offered is truly exceptional, because they are prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service is impeccable: fast, efficient and always friendly. The combination of these factors makes every visit a real pleasure and allows me to say that the Matranga pastry bar is undoubtedly one of the best places in the city located in the iconic Via Sciuti. I highly recommend everyone to stop by this wonderful pastry shop. You won't be disappointed.
12/06/2024: . If I am so lucky one day as to get to heaven and I am served pastries there, I could not ask for them to be any better than the pastries at this bakery.
