01/05/2025: Our misadventure: discovering a room where a bottle of room perfume had literally been emptied to make it unbreathable despite 1.5 hours of ventilation. Not wanting to change it because the bathroom was used... Vacuum cleaner at 8 a.m. in the hallway. Noise of ventilation systems and compressors next to the window. Music in the bar in the evening. We were lucky to have parking in low season... otherwise I pity the customers when it's full. Breakfast isn't really one. A drink and a pastry of your choice. A bit expensive in low season but we understand why...

21/01/2025: The Virginia bar in via Sammartino in Palermo is a little gem that deserves a stop. The staff is helpful, attentive and friendly, with genuine smiles that, nowadays, are not found everywhere — and here they are absolutely free! 😊 The place is clean, bright and welcoming, with seating both inside, on comfortable stools, and outside, where well-arranged tables allow you to enjoy the atmosphere of the city. For a moment we forget the traffic and the horns and hear someone from some apartment playing the drums and the violin... savoring our food... The quality of the products is excellent: everything is genuine and fresh. Today I tried a berry croissant with chopped pistachios — a real delight. The berry jam was sweet enough, balanced and not cloying. A small detail that makes you smile: even a hungry pigeon appreciated the goodness of the croissant (certainly not the bar's fault!), but the staff, always attentive, is ready to intervene to guarantee the comfort of the guests. Recommended for those looking for a simple place but with excellent quality and a warm welcome. Try it to believe it!

24/05/2025: "Booked with an hour to spare, they recommend hamburgers to speed things up. Result? Endless waits, dishes served in relays like in a poorly organized race. Lost commitment, ruined dinner. If this is the way to hurry, better to fast. Never again." I add that I also have a business and I know what it means ... but these are not ways.

04/05/2025: Buon ristorante a pochi passi dalla spiaggia di "Montalbano" a Punta Secca. Il locale è piccolo ma carino con due verande , coperta e all'aperto. Percorsi gastronomici obbligati ovviamente a base di pesce con possibilità di scelta tra antipasto e primo o completo. La cucina dove opera lo chef è a vista. Ottima la materia prima e più che soddisfacente la presentazione e il gusto dei piatti. Un po' alto il conto finale. Consigliato.

09/04/2025: Attracted by the smell that came to my nose from the kitchen, I spontaneously decided to have my “pranzo” here. At the beginning of April I was the only guest at 1 p.m. - but that quickly changed. Antipasti was the Caponata di melanzane. I don't know what the caponata that Adelina makes for her inspector tastes like - this one was MERAVIGLIOSA! Afterwards there was Linguine del Capitano, for which many innocent little octopuses had to give up their lives - the chef gave them a more than worthy burial! The meal was accompanied by a wonderful white wine (Grillo). The only downside: there was no coffee for afterwards. Still overall highly recommended!

16/01/2025: In this bar you find the flavor of a good breakfast and diner which are now forgotten flavors in many bars. I was also able to appreciate the goodness of the pastries which are fresh and of high quality. It's a shame that the place is small and in times of large crowds it is difficult to enjoy something in peace.

10/12/2024: Great café in the small town of Lentini, the small sweet pastries are highly recommended, I would particularly like to highlight ANTONI, very hard-working and friendly, but all the staff are very friendly and competent. I'd love to come back

06/05/2025: I think it's the best restaurant in Sicily and the restaurant of my life. The Trapanese couscous served with fish broth and the marinated prawn fish soup were so delicious that I went there twice. There are many wine pairings and the staff is very friendly. I think I will miss you a lot.

28/04/2025: Had dinner at this place, questionable experience. Poor couscous, fish seen through binoculars and drinks prices in my opinion excessive (13 euros for a half bottle of wine seems really a lot to me...) I wouldn't repeat the experience.
