17/05/2026: I stopped here yesterday morning to have a good breakfast. Unfortunately many good pastries were already sold out by the time I reached Kristall Bakery but I still managed to order a Pangocciolo al Cioccolato which was really on point. There's many seats both inside and outside and the overall atmosphere is quite welcoming. I was very satisfied both with the food and the customer service and I would definitely come back if I ever stop by Ferrara again!!

19/01/2026: The beautiful Sac a poche pastry shop will reopen in March unfortunately. After the Christmas period we miss the warmth and happiness of being able to sit inside the shop to enjoy the sweets, hot chocolates and every delicacy that is well served.

13/01/2026: To their credit ... absolutely lovely decor and tea/coffee cups. Just lovely. I imagine a quiet day to enjoy an ambient experience as ypu sip a cup of tea/coffee with a sweet treat would be nice. My oof issue: the sign outside says they close at 2pm. We arrived at 1:30 and were told to eat/drink at the counter. The waiter already mopping and most seating closed off. Me=confused. To the owner/manager: If your time of closure is different from that of your sign, please change your sign. Otherwise, your puzzled look will only match my own. People come to your bar, not for a quick caffeine fix but for a moment to enjoy the lovely haven you have created & service that matches that. I would hope that those who work in such a place would mirror that just a bit more. I am a little disappointed. I might try again. You have lovely place! Do better! We want to love you!

06/04/2026: We stopped here for lunch during the Camino dell'Unione and the choice was largely rewarded, very tasty and totally local dishes, with handmade pasta and excellent wine, the owner is very kind and made us feel at home

04/06/2026: Tagliolini with clams, good, nothing to complain about. Gratinated vegetables: far from every rule of classic Italian cuisine. Zucchini decidedly undercooked. Fragrant bread was nonexistent, just breadcrumbs, and it seemed to have been added at the end of cooking. No gratin. The lunch menu for workers below seemed good, around €15 for a first course and a side dish, a portion certainly not for a worker, and €2.30 for a coffee. It was definitely a steal. It wasn't even Da Vinci. Yes, I work in the restaurant business, yes, I'm a cook. Yes, I own a business.

22/05/2026: I discovered Fargo almost by accident, but it's one of those places that stays with you. The photo immediately captures the place's character: small, authentic, without the fake elegance of an "Instagram-worthy" venue. Outdoor tables, a cozy atmosphere, minimal signage, and that slightly underground vibe that's extremely rare these days. Inside, the atmosphere is classic, well-executed, cultural pub/bar: tastefully chosen music, serious cocktails, craft beers, and a relaxed clientele. Not your typical noisy, soulless place, but a place where you'll want to stay longer than expected. Online, too, it's often described as one of the most unique and lively places in Ravenna, especially for its atmosphere, music, and quality of drinks. The burgers and appetizers are also excellent: simple yet thoughtful, perfect with a beer or a properly crafted cocktail. Many reviews praise the music selection and the "authentic" atmosphere, which are worth their weight in gold these days. The great thing about Fargo is that it doesn't seem to want to impress anyone... and that's precisely why it's so impressive. It's one of those places that gives a city its personality. If you're passing through Ravenna and want to avoid the soulless, same-story places, this is definitely worth a try.

17/02/2026: Cambusa was an experience. It was a place I'd been eyeing for a while, and I finally managed to go in and spend an evening there. Amazing, beautiful place, wonderful people, delicious food. Perfect for meeting people, listening to jazz, and drinking a good Guinness. The owner is very kind and full of stories from the place's past. A peaceful haven in Ferrara.

21/04/2026: Small kiosk where you can eat an excellent piadina with an open kitchen where you can also see all the preparation near the university attended by many young people and where you can enjoy an excellent piadina, the classic one with Parma ham and squacquerone or recommended with the very good horse meat tartare recommended for a quick and very good lunch, with few tables at peak times it is difficult to be able to sit inside

06/09/2025: Barbeer is a lively and welcoming beer hall in the heart of the city, just steps from the Rocca di Ravaldino (Caterina Sforza's fortress). Unique decor (stools shaped like bottle corks, a chandelier made of glasses) and an exceptional selection of draft and bottled beers from around the world. The food, especially burgers, sandwiches, and fried snacks, pairs perfectly with the beer, while the friendly and efficient staff contributes to a pleasant and authentic experience.

13/05/2026: Last night at Orso Bianco again...I can't resist the deliciousness of their pizzas, but my husband gorged on the Costillar Asado Argentino.... and where else to find it than at Orso?!...everything delicious, a unique atmosphere, and super friendly service! 25/04/2026: In the heart of San Piero in Bagno, this cozy place serves excellent pizza and meat. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Excellent.

06/05/2026: A fantastic restaurant right in the middle of a food market! They serve typical Bolognese dishes like ragù, pizza, pasta, and cold platters. We ordered one of these, a platter for two with a variety of regional sausages and cheeses. The platter was absolutely worth the €23 price tag. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.

05/05/2026: We both got food poisoning. The food tasted only ok but we were up all night after and lost a day of vacation. Also there was no other person here for our entire dinner, just empty tables, seems like a bad sign

She was incredibly kind, patient, and always smiling, even during the most chaotic moments. It's not easy managing so many people at once, but she did it with a kindness and professionalism that truly impressed us.
