The cappellacci with shrimp and asparagus in a saffron cream was superb, and the mixed fish skewers were also cooked to perfection. Given that I probably ate my tastiest sliced ​​steak in 40 years of traveling, I'd only make two minor observations, which should be taken as suggestions and not criticisms. When serving a tasting plate of assorted cheeses, it's always a good idea to indicate where to start; it's not always easy for the diner to understand. Since this is a family dinner on a Saturday night, there's no rush, and it's not a place with shifts, it's not a good idea to limit your appetizer intake because the first course is arriving and you'll eat it a little cold. No one's chasing us, but I can understand why some diners prefer the assembly line. In any case, we'll be back soon, and very willingly.

I've been frequenting this place during the summer for about twenty years. I've always had a great experience, but unfortunately, tonight I have to say that since the captain passed away, the place has been struggling. Their class is beyond compare. After paying the bill, I explained that I've never eaten so badly for so much, and I explained my reasons, and the response left me speechless. I ordered the fireplace appetizer, and I should have understood the difference from that. The pizzeria appetizer consisted of two types of seafood salad and a prawn. Then I ordered a seafood Catalana, and here's the disaster: I received a plate with three lobsters and a lobster. Okay, I know exactly what I ordered, a Catalana, but not what I received: three frozen lobsters and a lobster. I pointed out to the manager that the whole thing wasn't up to par, given that at the entrance you see live, Italian lobsters, not foreign, frozen ones. He replied, "But those have a different price." How dare you, the first person to ask you the price? Who asked you for three lobsters? When the captain was there, he would drive around with his trolley and tell you what to enjoy tonight. The trolley with some splendid scampi was parked in front of the smoking room and never moved. You prefer to sell frozen lobsters. "Congratulations!" To top it off, no fruit, which I usually get, much less pastries with my coffee. Never again.

We sat down at 1:30 PM, and by 2:42 PM we still hadn't eaten our starters, so much so that we had to ask what had happened. The staff was fine. The shrimp cocktail was a bit meager considering the €16 a plate. The prices are high, but the quality is there; if they were more plentiful, it would be perfect. I always recommend booking. They only serve two dinners, one from 7:30 PM and one at 9:30 PM. Otherwise, the food is excellent, nothing to complain about.

12/03/2026: A small place filled with items that make it very pleasant and warm. It's not labeled as a wine bar or brunch spot. It was almost 12 p.m., and when we walked in with kids, the very polite owner told us he didn't have any soft drinks. He did, however, offer them freshly squeezed juices at the table. We asked for a bottle of white wine, and after canvassing our preferences, he served us a perfect Timorosso accompanied by a nice platter of freshly sliced ​​cured meats and a warm piadina. For five adults and two kids, we spent €38, including two glass bottles of water. The owner was discreet but present, kind and smiling without being intrusive. We'll definitely be back.
