01/03/2026: Back to the past or stuck in the past? I'll start by saying that I've been working in hospitality and welcoming for 10 years in the city where I live, and I know how much effort and sacrifice goes into every little detail. The hotel is in a strategic location, and the parking they provide for guests is a major plus. The dining room, bar, and entertainment staff are fantastic, but I truly believe the building has remained largely unchanged since 1915. The rooms are very old (the first room we were assigned had a poorly maintained shower curtain, which hasn't been used for years for hygiene reasons, at least... luckily, it was replaced). The furnishings are very old (but that's a matter of taste; some like it, some don't). One thing I can't ignore, however, is the cleanliness, which, alas, was terrible. We found hair in the bathroom, in the beds, no vacuum cleaner on the floor... the shower stall was extremely dirty, the shower head was broken... and last but not least, since there was no window in the bathroom, vacuuming was essential, but it didn't work... No mini-fridge to even store a little water... In short, it really has a lot of potential, but it absolutely needs updating, especially since the prices have been updated! Good food! I hope this review can be interpreted as "constructive," aiming to improve and imagining a renewed clientele, who will obviously expect an adaptation to the times we live in.

22/04/2026: Beautiful and amazing food! definitely worth a visit

21/04/2026: We visited O’Parrucchiano La Favorita and what we experienced was embarrassing for a shop that is supposed to have a name. As soon as we sat down, we saw that the chairs had arms and they didn’t suit us at all. There were similar ones next to them without arms, so we politely tried to change one ourselves, without disturbing anyone. Within seconds, a lady jumps up with an aggressive and ironic tone and says to us “what are you doing?” We explain to her calmly and instead of acting like a professional, she starts to get irritated, tells us that “it’s not possible” and —the climax— tells us that “we won’t change things in her house,” as if we were guests in her living room and not customers in a restaurant. Then, she grabs the chair and throws it back with force, in a tone that is not only directed at customers. When I told her “we didn’t know, calm down”, her response was extremely provocative: “don’t tell me to calm down”. The level of rudeness and disrespect was shocking. And the best part? This woman was the manager, Tina. In other words, the very person who should be setting an example of behavior. If this is the level of management, no one needs to look for why the experience ends like this. Her behavior was so bad that it made my girlfriend cry. The waiters — who were the only professionals there — tried to pick up the pieces and calm us down, something that she should normally have done herself. As for the food? Disappointing. Very mediocre, without any special taste or reason to remember it. The only thing saving the place is the decoration and the space — nothing more. If you are looking for a place to pay to be spoken to rudely and eat mediocre food, then you have come to the right place. For everyone else, there are much better options in Sorrento.

03/01/2026: We frequented this place on two different occasions, both at dusk during the Christmas season, so it was difficult to get lost, so gaudy were the decorations and lights that adorned the interior and exterior, shining like stars on a winter night. The fauna that gathers there is quite unique, but we were nevertheless heartened by Mr. Cannavaro's presence, even though this fact is of little relevance to the banquet. The place offers a broad and generous menu, including dishes for those who avoid meat and those following a vegan diet. Every dish we sampled was very good, and the atmosphere was warm and pleasant, enlivened by the beneficial warmth of the stoves, which did a good job of combating the harsh winter. The only comment I feel like making is about the avocado sandwich, in which the provolone del Monaco weighs down a bit; Which is why, on this second visit, I ordered it without the cheese. All in all, a praiseworthy experience, worthy of being recounted like one would a good inn along the way.

09/11/2025: Total disappointment... I ordered a takeout sandwich and was truly disappointed. The sandwich alone, without drinks or portions, cost me €15, and there was no receipt. No sachet ketchup, no customer service, and the quality definitely didn't live up to the price. For comparison, last night at Marano I ordered two takeout sandwiches with two glass Cokes and spent €22 in total, with a much higher quality. This one, however, seemed like a joke. Exorbitant prices and a lack of transparency; I definitely won't order from them again.

28/03/2026: It's now a regular stop for me every time I'm in Naples. It's one of those places that truly makes you feel at home, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and the kind, always smiling and helpful staff. Their cappuccino is without a doubt the best I've ever had: creamy, perfectly balanced, and prepared with great care. You can really taste the quality and passion behind every cup. It's one of those cappuccinos that makes you start the day with a smile. Every time I come back, it's always a pleasure, because in addition to the quality of the products, you'll also find a warm and friendly atmosphere. If you're passing through Naples, I absolutely recommend stopping by: I'm sure it will become a regular stop for you too. I don't understand the negative reviews, but it's an excellent café.

24/04/2026: I've been frequenting this bar for years. I'm happy to give it the highest rating. The staff is friendly and very hospitable. The atmosphere is family-friendly, always cheerful yet discreet. The prices are fair, I'd say the best in the area. It's a great place to chat over a coffee or an aperitif.

16/01/2026: Would you believe it if they told you there were places that, for the price of a pizza (often not even good), served generous and creative dishes, from appetizers to coffee, mostly featuring the freshest and most flavorful fish? And that you could eat there every day because the menu is always changing? I honestly didn't believe it. Then we came here. INCREDIBLE, IT REALLY EXISTS!!!! Fixed menu €25 including drinks! 7 appetizers, we had battered shrimp, fried paccheri, seafood arancini, fish balls, gratinated peppers, cuttlefish and prawns, and more, as pictured. For the first course, scialatielli allo scoglio (filled with seafood, scampi, calamari...as the plate of peels shows) and strascinati with pumpkin, prawns, and cuttlefish. And then...HER MAJESTY THE FRIED SHRIMP, CALAMARI, AND ANCHOVIES, which alone, believe me, is worth the price of the entire dinner!!! MEMORABLE!! The staff is extremely kind and helpful, and the owner, SALVATORE, is a delightful and helpful person, but above all, he loves his job, he loves experimenting in the kitchen, and he's more than good at it!!!! PUT WHEELS ON THIS PLACE AND BRING IT TO A TOURIST AREA AND YOU'LL SEE... NOT AT ALL!! BETTER NOT!!! BETTER FOR IT TO REMAIN THE FAVORITE PLACE FOR TRUE FOOD ENTHUSIASTS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

27/02/2026: We ate everything from fried food to sandwiches, and then finished with pizza. 3 for the service, because on a Saturday, understandably, it took them 1.5 hours to deliver the pizza and sandwich, but the appetizer arrived in 3 minutes. We'll be back.

25/01/2026: We've been to this place twice, both times for breakfast. We tried some truly delicious desserts. The caramel tiramisu was exceptional. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

11/10/2025: The delivery driver has had trouble making deliveries twice now. He doesn't know how to use Google Maps, so he doesn't know the way to get there. This is the second time we've been more than an hour late for our meal; both times, we've met him. Despite the good sandwiches, I recommend changing the delivery driver or teaching him how to use Google Maps.

21/09/2025: Excellent value for money, but be wary of anyone who complains about the prices, as they offer a wide selection on the menu (those on a budget can get by for as little as €8, including a drink on the premises). Delicious sandwiches, and the staff are welcoming and available to help with anything. I've tried several pubs in the area, but this is definitely the best, all things considered.
