21/06/2026: If you have any food intolerances, definitely avoid this place. The waiters don't understand a word of Italian, and the food is mediocre at a premium. There are much, much better options in Castellammare. When in doubt, choose somewhere else.

16/05/2026: If you have patience - it will be your best place to eat in Sorrento!! We came when it was busy so the service looked a little slow, BUT IT TOTALLY WORTH IT! The food was outstanding and I know what I’m talking about (lived in Italy for 10 years)
We took pasta with seafood, grilled fish and grilled veggies with insalata - everything was good, my husband even had to do scarpetta (it’s Italian trend to eat all the sauce from pasta with bread)
10/05/2026: Is it normal to find a still-frozen clam inside a seafood scialatiello?
A typical place that manages to survive and stay afloat only because the choice in Sorrento is limited to restaurants where a plate of pasta costs 20-25 euros, or places like this where the quality is drastically reduced to make room for corporate margins.
Not to mention the spaghetti with clams. It was basically spaghetti all'acqua with 7-8 clams and had no flavor or personality whatsoever.
How sad these places are, insulting Italian cuisine and making the tourist experience completely forgettable.

27/02/2026: We ate everything from fried food to sandwiches, and then finished with pizza.
3 for the service, because on a Saturday, understandably, it took them 1.5 hours to deliver the pizza and sandwich, but the appetizer arrived in 3 minutes.
We'll be back.

I ordered a takeout sandwich and was truly disappointed. The sandwich alone, without drinks or portions, cost me €15, and there was no receipt. No sachet ketchup, no customer service, and the quality definitely didn't live up to the price.
For comparison, last night at Marano I ordered two takeout sandwiches with two glass Cokes and spent €22 in total, with a much higher quality.
This one, however, seemed like a joke. Exorbitant prices and a lack of transparency; I definitely won't order from them again.

18/05/2026: My wife and I spent two glorious weeks in Ischia in late May, and this place quickly became our absolute go-to for morning coffees and pastries, and lazy evening drinks in their beautiful semi-covered seating area.
Their coffee is amongst the best I've ever tasted, and their selection of pastries, cornetti, and cakes will blow your mind. Then there's the gelato... We did our best to sample all the flavours, but once we tried their signature 'Winner' we never looked back.
All this comes with trademark Ischian hospitality, in beautiful surroundings. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on the island, senza dubbio.

27/12/2025: I admit that it can be quite crowded on Saturday evenings during the holidays, but you just need to be a little organized when it comes to orders and payments.
Otherwise, everything else is exceptional. The sandwiches and fried food are worth the wait if you find a line.
15/12/2025: If you're hungry, I absolutely recommend trying this place. The sandwiches are very large, and you'll find a wide assortment of ingredients, from the most classic to the most sophisticated. The place is a bit shabby (with some unstable wooden tables and benches), and sandwiches cost around €9-10. Sometimes they get a bit confused with the orders, and the service is a bit slow.

21/12/2025: We ordered a pistachio coffee, but a different type of "coffee" was served at the table.
On our way to the bathroom, we found blood-soaked toilet paper in the sink. The pistachio crepe didn't taste like pistachio, but rather like chemicals.
26/11/2025: The perfect place for breakfast or a drink on the go. The staff is friendly and the place is very cute.

05/06/2026: Super busy street with loads of sounds , so no relaxing here. Good prices nice service lots of different foods. Toilet is really challenging , not for everybody to access, entrance is steap , toilet little abandoned , pretty dirty . No paper.
21/05/2026: We had walked a lot and it was hot, so we asked for a large glass of soda. The pineapple juice was delicious, but the glass was completely filled with ice cubes, so in the end there was very little juice in it. And then 8 euros is very expensive.

10/06/2026: The taste was OK. The most plentiful thing on this sandwich is the bread lots of bread very dry very chewy. If you decide to get a sandwich here make sure you get a Coke or something else that you can flush it down with. On its own it is extremely dry. The tomatoes were not fresh, the buffalo mozzarella is something I have had better from a supermarket in Canada.

03/09/2025: It was my favorite bar in Pomigliano for the quality-price ratio of its products. I returned a few weeks ago after a long absence and it was a disaster: slow service and a nonexistent menu, and then I paid €9.40 for two ginseng "long" pastries and two croissants (very heavy, not as flaky and good as they used to be). Are you kidding me?
