26/02/2024: I have been coming from love for exactly 15 years.
Walking area and may give the idea of being touristy due to the area in which it is located, but it is not at all!!
Over many years, I have been able to witness the evolution and growth of this magical place.
Furthermore, this year I enjoyed the magnificent dishes of chef Pasquale Rinaldo. Welcome entrée with attention to detail (that butter with anchovy?! And what are we talking about?!). Space smoked tartare!!! And then the first one that I preferred was the carbonara with scampi. A true ENJOYMENT, not only for the palate, but also for the nose!
You can't tell, you have to try. So if you are in Capri you can't miss stopping by d'amore.
25/10/2023: In my opinion, there is no finer restaurant in Capri. I have gone here every year I have come and D'Amore always pleases. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional. The staff, are the greatest. You get much more than you ask for here and everything is exquisite. Thank you Marco Pasquale, Tonino, Antonella, Ernesto and all of your waiters for making me feel appreciated. See you next year! And, don't remember la musica!

01/04/2024: My wedding, in a fairytale place! Incredible view of the stacks, professional service and high quality food. Every detail studied to perfection!
18/10/2023: Unfortunately we had a heavier meal earlier, so we ordered a lighter dinner here. This restaurant sits up on the side of the hill almost like a treehouse, in a very serene setting. There are outdoor covered seating areas that look very elegant but also casual in the nighttime. Our food was excellent and the service was top notch. I look forward to coming back here someday.

04/04/2024: Very good freshly caught fish and calamari. Well prepared without any fuss! The seafood salad starter was a poem and we forgot to take a photo of this super delicious dish. We will be back! A treasure on Capri. Selected large wine list also with good open white wine. Thanks!
03/04/2024: The food is belissimo! Nice attitude from the owner, but it has a very small space to eat.

02/04/2024: I had already been here a few years ago and I returned, because it is close to the center in a quiet area, you can get there with a pleasant walk. the hotel is very nice and the room has a large balcony overlooking the sea with table and sunbeds and the bathroom is very large, we also took advantage of the late check-out. the staff is very kind and contacted me before arrival via the WhatsApp assistance service, in which they provided us with a luggage rack service. once we arrived at the hotel, they offered us a welcome drink at check-in. even in the dining room everyone is very attentive and the atmosphere is truly very pleasant and light. we found a free Easter egg and the next day, being my birthday, they surprised me by singing “happy birthday” with a small cake and drums! the girls, all very young, smiling and attentive, know how to give advice on restaurants, even non-touristy ones, and book very quickly. even during check-out they thought about purchasing tickets for the ship and luggage transport. I definitely recommend it to those who love luxury hotels and comfort!

18/10/2023: Very good pizza! This is what we ate! And it was big too, so the price wasn't quite as high as people think.
I saw a review that said "if you don't wear designer clothes, you're not treated well"; this was not the case for us. We were treated very well, welcoming and professional waiters, even joking; so everything went very well, even though I didn't have a reservation, which is absolutely necessary.
15/10/2023: We spent a total of three evenings in Capri and ate in different restaurants each time.
Basically, we were aware of the prices and were therefore prepared for higher prices for drinks, food, etc.
However, we found what happened to us at Da Giorgio to be cheeky.
We are usually very accommodating and can overlook a lot of things, which is why we rarely give reviews.
The waiter was so arrogant towards us from the start for no reason, which is why we didn't feel comfortable at all from the first second.
My friend had spaghetti with tomato sauce for €18 and I had the pasta dish from the daily menu (linguine with tomatoes and shrimp) for €28.
I wasn't expecting a large portion for Capri for God's sake, however I received overall the same noodles as my friend with the exception of three shrimp draped on top. Once these were peeled, there wasn't much difference from my friend's portion.
I'm generally not picky, but the price-performance ratio here isn't right at all. Added to this is the arrogant and unfriendly service.
The food wasn't bad, but we've eaten MUCH better at other places on Capri for the same price.
I never thought that the service could also add a lot to the taste sensation.

05/11/2023: Biggest tourist trap I've ever been to. Food was semi good, which is not okay for the price.
Especially the Caesar salad. Just salad with cold chicken (17€). The service was bad. We needed about 30 for each event. We definitely asked every waiter if we could pay. The first one nodded and didn't come back. The second one brought us menus and then didn't come back etc. 👎

02/11/2023: …ci siamo fermati per un caffè in questo locale bar “Sicilia Bedda”!!…a Motta Camastra!!…dopo aver fatto visita al centro storico!!…il locale era chiuso di primo pomeriggio…ma gli uomini siciliani erano già fuori seduti ai tavolini all’aperto ad aspettare l’apertura del locale!!…dato che per l ‘ora di pranzo chiude!!…tradizionale bar di paese!!…con personale disponibile e gentile!!…d’altra parte…qui sono siciliani autentici!!…e l’accoglienza fa parte del loro carattere!!…è stata una piacevole pausa caffè!!…al bar “Sicilia Bedda”!!…a Motta Camastra!!…
