15/02/2024: We came from Poland to Napoli to then travel to Pompei. We were looking for a good, real coffee. Unfortunately, it is not easy to find a decent coffee in Italy which was a surprise to us. But Compana Roastery was a game-changer. Good coffee and a little chit chat with the owner and barista was great. We definitely recommend this place for stepping by if you happen to visit Pompei.

25/03/2024: Family-run restaurant. Anyone who expects 5 star cuisine here is wrong. There is good Italian home cooking here. The price-performance ratio is appropriate. The restaurant is on a side street in Pompeii, so it's easy to miss. If you want to eat well in Pompeii, this is a great place for you.

03/03/2024: We went to this restaurant this afternoon. My husband, daughter and I ate. We were really satisfied, the owner and the waiters. Very helpful and courteous. The only thing they should add is an extra ladle of pasta. The dishes are not abundant. But I must say very very refined and decorated with refinement. Excellent value for money. We took advantage of the fork discount. I recommend, I would definitely go back ❤️
29/12/2023: I had a great experience with this restaurant. I arrived on Christmas Day with nowhere to eat and my B&B owner Luigi talked with the owner of this restaurant who reserved a place for me for Christmas dinner! The food was awesome and good value for the price! Thank you so much for letting me have a place for dinner on Christmas Day! I highly recommend this place anytime you're in Pompei!

24/07/2023: My family and I stayed close to the Met Caffe during our vacation to Pompei, and it was truly such a pleasure. Delicious pastries, fantastic coffee, and a full bar. The owner, Luigi, significantly enhanced our vacation due to his kindness, willingness to help, and hospitality. Visiting the Met Caffe in the mornings was a highlight of our trip and I would recommend it to anyone. Grazie Luigi!!

05/04/2024: Perfect for visiting the excavations, also close to the center 10 minutes on foot, we were in a camper, I found the service blocks a bit small but with hot water always available, we liked the attached pizzeria, for Easter we paid € 40 per night. Attentive, friendly and accommodating staff. Advised
26/03/2024: Ok the location is really facing the archaeological site of Pompeii - hence my two star rating. But that does not justify either the price (37 euros) or the state of the toilets (tiny and dirty, you shower on tiptoe and it is better to have a toilet in your vehicle). Little feeling of being taken for a ham

03/03/2024: Excellent place to have breakfast before entering the Pompeii excavations, it takes a few minutes of walking but it is absolutely more than worth it. Get off and walk to this place of quality food and friendly, helpful staff. Tanda

03/04/2024: ABSURD PRICES, the two of us ate two Neapolitan sandwiches and a babà, total €16, while in Naples in the most prestigious places I spent €6 with much more filling and tastier products!!

13/02/2024: Serata del 12 febbraio, ospite Antò, organizzazione pessima, non esiste un guardaroba e mi hanno derubata del mio giubbotto, la festa doveva finire alle 2 di notte ed invece è terminata con largo anticipo, nonostante il biglietto pagato anticipatamente era obbligatoria la consumazione del drink. Molto affollato e senza alcuna restrizione. Nel complesso sconsigliato
23/10/2023: Ordered a chicken cutlet from the menu with a nice photo of 2 pieces cutlets served in a bed of fries. Ended up I got a miserable piece of frozen cutlet that you can get from supermarket! The cutlet cost me 7 Euro.
My wife got herself a Gonocchi and it was serve with tomato sauce that taste like from can as it has a strong Acetic acid sour taste. My son got a Carbonara that is bland!
The only thing that taste good is the Coke as it is “Original Taste”!
