Lomberto, the new generation representative of the family that owns, manages the restaurant like a conductor, doing everything he can to satisfy his customers. I think the secret to the deliciousness of the food can be explained by blending a long-standing tradition with their own locally produced ingredients. Wonderful meats, amazing pasta interpretations, desserts, and those legendary wines. A fantastic restaurant that you'll want to divert to visit…

28/02/2026: Let me start by saying that I'm from Naples and my partner is from Varese, and I was visiting her for Valentine's Day. One evening, we stopped at this place for two gin-based cocktails each. The price of about €10 per cocktail, plus a complimentary tray of six mini canapés (as we were told), seemed reasonable. It's a shame that the flavor of my drinks, with the gin I'd specified, didn't quite match the original. After four cocktails, we asked for the bill, and the owner, who had introduced himself during the evening, brought us two mini shots (not even the size of a regular shot) of a drink he'd created and invented, claiming they were on the house. Unbeknownst to me, my partner paid the bill; I estimated the total for the drinks was €40. However, the next day, I discovered that the receipt included an extra charge of "2 x €6 APE LIVELLANZA TOT €12," bringing the total to €52! The disappointment isn't due to the extra €12, but rather to not understanding the reason for this extra charge. Could it be for the two mini shots and the trays of mini canapés advertised as free? The only positive note is the friendly service from the young man at the table. I don't recommend this place based on my experience, both for the quality and the clarity of the bill, and especially for the contrasting manners. Angy

05/04/2026: Carefully prepared and flavorful dishes, you can feel the attention in the kitchen 😊 Francesca was truly fantastic: kind, smiling, and always available, she made us feel at ease right away! We also greatly appreciated the vegetarian and vegan options 🌱 and the artisanal gelato, truly top-notch (even the vegan version!). Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

05/04/2026: We ordered the tasting menu, and the food was absolutely not worth the price. All the dishes were flavorless, and the portions were tiny. The flavors overall didn't seem to pair very well. We left the restaurant still hungry and not satisfied with our meal. It's incredible that it's been on the Michelin list for so many years in a row. The city is pretty, and there are definitely better options.

However, I would mention the service: a bit too informal and not up to par with the restaurant's reputation. It's clear they're well-prepared, but the overall result needs improvement, especially in terms of customer service, timing, attitude, and attention. See you soon!

15/03/2026: Osteria Satyricon is one of those places that warms your heart as soon as you step inside. It's not just a restaurant, it's a slice of authentic Bologna, where the hospitality is a given and quality is uncompromising. The first courses are simply sublime. Tortellini in broth taste like home, and tagliatelle with ragù are expertly prepared. The selection of second courses and side dishes is also excellent, with generous portions and the freshest ingredients. The atmosphere is rustic, informal, and lively. It's the ideal place for an evening with friends or a relaxed dinner where you'll immediately feel at ease, surrounded by an atmosphere brimming with history and personality. The quality-price ratio is fair. Finding such refined cuisine at such reasonable prices in the city is not a given. If you want to experience a true Bolognese osteria, off the beaten track and with an authentic soul, Satyricon is the place to be. Highly recommended!

It would have been a shame if it hadn't happened.
