A restaurant in the countryside between Piacenza and Parma, a well-deserved former Michelin star. The previous management, due to age reasons, has changed. The menu is now less traditional, but the reinterpretation of the dishes isn't groundbreaking. The dining room and kitchen are both young, with a female chef—not the youngest, but certainly talented! The wine list is decent, but I can't comment on the quality/price ratio because I dined off the pre-determined menu.

The location is truly beautiful, with the option of a garden for the summer. The staff is extremely friendly, and the service is excellent, as is the food, with menus and dishes that vary seasonally. The wide selection of wines is also excellent.
Finally, the owner, Vittorio, is very kind, helpful, and approachable.
Absolutely recommended and a must-try!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Disappointed. Beautiful location, good and friendly service, bland dishes that didn't wow me. The price, in my opinion, was too high for the quality and quantity of the dishes.

We went for dinner with friends.
Food: 3. I'm averaging what we ate. My husband had a great meal with the braised meats in the first and second courses. I had the artichoke, which was full of pepper and looked like a mess (see attached photos). The cod, which was salty and okay, is to be expected, but it wasn't pleasant to the palate.
Entrée: I like the Jerusalem artichoke, but it wasn't at all solid, and the goat cheese flavor bothered me.
For dessert, the sprelle pastries, which, besides tasting fried, were a bit "mushy."
Dessert: No, the mille-feuille was a very fried pastry and that's it.
Service: Help!!!! Too many waiters serving you, there's no logic, and the thing that bothered me the most was that when ordering, I took care to highlight my allergies (NOT intolerances), and every time a dish arrived, I had to ask, and the (different) waitress would always go back to the kitchen to check. Furthermore, the dishes didn't all arrive at the same time.
Service that wasn't attentive to detail or the customer.
Location: truly very pleasant.
Here, they try to make good food, which, given the prices, should be EXCELLENT, and it certainly isn't!
