07/10/2025: The service from the servers was excellent. We appreciate their attentiveness and friendly service. However, the food fell short of our expectations. The meat was served raw, and we had to ask for it to be cooked twice. One of those times, it was still undercooked. We believe this needs improvement.

05/10/2025: Before the concert at the Arena, we stopped for a bite to eat at Pizzeria Leon D'Oro, and it was a delightful discovery! The atmosphere is truly charming, with a lovely summer garden and a well-kept and welcoming interior. The pizza is truly worth it: the crust is crispy and light, perfect even for those—like me—with slow digestion. The ingredients are top-quality, the pizzas are well-topped and cooked to perfection. The staff is very kind, smiling, and attentive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A place I'll definitely keep in mind for future evenings at the Arena. Recommended! 🍕✨

28/09/2025: Truly fantastic. We had to go to the Arena and were in a hurry, but the waiter and pizza chefs immediately took care of seating us and serving us quickly. We ate quickly, and the quality was excellent. Highly recommended.

10/09/2025: Everything's very good, of course, but let's face it: pizza is something else entirely. Why is this place called a pizzeria? Oh, and the prices? They're justified only by the team of restaurateurs equipped with tweezers who delicately and precisely place each ingredient on each slice of bread. The result? Sky-high prices, a lot of smoke and not much heart.

08/09/2025: A journey through diverse doughs and perfectly blended ingredients. I finally managed to try I Tigli, a pizzeria that has been at the top of the 50 Top Pizzas list for years. Modern, spacious, and airy. No crowded tables, but a very refined and elegant open space. The open kitchen is where all the chefs are busy taking orders, extremely quickly and accurately. The pizzas come in 4-slice and 8-slice formats. The staff recommends trying 2 to 3 4-slice pizzas for 2 people. We followed this recommendation, and it was spot on. Once you order, the pizzas arrive one at a time, so you can savor the freshly baked pizza just as it was designed. We wanted to try a Margherita, a seafood pizza, and a meat pizza: - The Margherita Crispy: perfectly crispy dough, delicate flavors, good ingredients - Scallop Carbonara: the one that absolutely made me say "wow." The balance of flavors was perfect: the corn dough was fragrant and delicious, and the bacon chips added a salty kick that balanced everything out. I loved it. - Baked Pigeon: a pizza with tons of positive reviews and recommended by the staff. I'm not a pigeon fan, but... It's now or never! The pigeon wasn't overpowering; it was tender and delicate, perhaps too much so. In fact, it was my least favorite. My honest opinion is that I wouldn't call it a "pizzeria," or at least not a classic one. The pizza is as thick as a focaccia; at times I had trouble biting into it. I Tigli is a place where you can savor very refined and light doughs, with unexpected ingredients. It's an experience. A minor point: the price. Perhaps really excessive. I could understand the Pigeon (€26.50) or the Scallop (€27), but even charging €20 for the Margherita is a bit too much. I already knew the prices, so I decided to try it anyway and really enjoyed the experience. Not the pizzeria I'd go to every day, in this regard. Overall, a great experience. The dough was truly excellent and easy to digest, but I expected more flavor from the ingredients (except for the scallop).

19/08/2025: One of the best Michelin-starred restaurants. The service, atmosphere, and especially the food were outstanding, with every flavor standing out beautifully. Usually, desserts leave me disappointed, but not this time, the final course was flawless. This is the restaurant I’ve been recommending to friends visiting Verona over the past year. Complimenti!

We had the full 10 courses with wine pairing, some very pleasant surprises, and outstanding service. We even had a quick chat with the funny and very creative chef. You can tell he understands his craft and knows how to use it. It's truly impressive.

27/07/2025: We had the pleasure of experiencing Leandro and his team yesterday – fantastic! We were excited about the many positive reviews – and our expectations were exceeded. A kitchen that offers traditional dishes with so much creativity, surprise, and excellent taste is unparalleled – all without any "molecular frills." Added to that is an atmosphere that blends "Welcome to us" with "Let us pamper you" – wonderful. The ambiance is modern and classic with plenty of taste and, of course, a stunning view. For us, it was a magical evening that we will remember for a long time – see you next time – thank you and a thousand graces.

12/10/2025: I hate to leave negative reviews, but I had high expectations given the reviews and the price. We ordered two first courses completely devoid of salt, and my tagliolini were overcooked. I hope it was just a bad day. Credit to the waiter for trying to make up for it by offering two coffees.

10/10/2025: We had a fabulous meal here in this restaurant. Great choice. Lovely service and staff. We sat overlooking the piazza and it was enchanting. It's upstairs and we missed the entrance initially.

21/09/2025: Excellent dishes: the risotto with Soave wine and caciocavallo cheese was wonderful, light yet flavorful. The zucchini absolute with its crispy flower was also delicious, not to mention the sugoli tart, typical of this season. You could definitely taste it was homemade. Recommended!

12/08/2025: Staying for a couple of days in Soave... looking for typical yet "original" restaurants, we found it all at the inn. Excellent, refined cuisine and great expertise...we tried the chef's surprise tasting menu...we couldn't have made a better choice.... Highly recommended....

06/10/2025: We got food poisoning from the salmon tagliatelle. The mineral water is served in an open glass bottle, so you don't even know what you're drinking. Even the glass was dirty! It's not worth a night of food poisoning.

10/09/2025: We met the owner while getting lost in the city, the restaurant is thankfully in a small remote plaza, just off the main thoroughfare. And blissfully calm. We promised to return, the owner was so nice and talkative, sharing insights about the local restaurant scene. That’s how we learned that this location is the fish offshoot of its more renowned older brother, focusing on meat. But like fish, so we came back here. We ordered 3 equally good dishes, expertly cooked and plated. First came the vongole, very good rendition, lacked garlic and white wine in my opinion, but right on for the salty, briny taste. Then, the linguine with Sicilian sweet red prawns, we have been dreaming since Sicily 3 years ago, that dish was flawless and should be ordered as the thin fish sauce expertly envelops the linguine. A masterclass of execution here. Finally, the vitello tonnato was made to perfection, tender, a slow steam cooked veal opposed to the tuna mayonnaise. We wish we could order that every week and if it is still on the menu (I do not see it?), it should be ordered. Not a lot of restaurants have this emblematic dish of fine Italian dining. We felt we should indulge in the local Prosecco offering and we were expertly guided through the choices, so not a stretch to say that service was flawless from start to finish. Sign of a great restaurant, the owner stopped by our table at the end and shared a local secret. Again, when you deal with the pros, you get pro hospitality. Overall, for the atmosphere, dining and service, we felt this was an outstanding experience and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I tried the ox cheek, foie gras, and gambero pasta — each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The ox cheek was melt-in-your-mouth tender, rich and deeply flavorful — clearly slow-cooked with care. The foie gras was seared perfectly, with a silky center, paired with subtle, sweet elements that balanced its richness. But the real surprise was the gambero pasta. The prawns were sweet and delicate, and the pasta perfectly al dente. What really elevated the dish was the lemon zest — it added a bright, citrusy lift that brought everything together and made the flavours sing. Simple, but brilliant. Service was attentive and warm, and the historic setting made the whole experience feel special. A must-visit if you're looking for refined Italian cuisine with thoughtful details.
