Since we spent our vacation at the Hotel Maximilian, it was of course a good idea to eat here. It was worth it! We ate there several times for lunch and dinner. The combination of very tasty food, mostly generous portions, the wonderful ambience (you have to see it for yourself!) and the friendly and courteous service staff really impressed us. The pizzas in particular are amazing! Super tasty, large and fresh ingredients! :-) We're looking forward to eating here again on our next vacation.

My wife's dishes (vitello and spaghetti with garlic) were top, but my mixed grilled fish platter didn't deserve 5 stars (too little heat when grilling and therefore more cooked than grilled - but with a large selection of fish and seafood). The service was absolutely top. Therefore, despite small deductions for the fish, 5 stars.

Even if the prices at the first glance at the menu when eating are a little higher than the restaurants in the area and the prices for the house wine are a 1/4 as much as the 1/2 in the area, you won't be disappointed in terms of quality and that The restaurant is very full every day and that speaks for itself. We'd love to come back on our next vacation.....

Modernes und schönes Ambiente. Der Service ist mehrsprachig wie die Karten auch. Das Essen ist gut bis sehr gut und das Restaurant ist jederzeit gut besucht. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Tür. Im Sommer eine schöne Terrasse.

Passati per caso davanti a questo locale. Abbiamo notato il numero di auto nel parcheggio e dopo avere controllato le recensioni siamo entrati. Tutto ottimo. Pizza buona e molto condita. Personale gentile e sorridente. Speso 63€ in quattro con pizze varie, acqua, coca cola e caffè. Torneremo.

15/02/2024: Restaurant discovered by chance, tried and satisfied. Nice and welcoming place (even if you wouldn't think so from the outside), suitable for an intimate dinner but also for a dinner/lunch with friends. Very friendly and helpful staff, quality and well cooked food. In addition to the à la carte menu they also have dishes of the day, we took the pappardelle with rabbit, delicious and the Tomahawk, sublime. The desserts are also very good. I had such a good time last night that I have already booked to return in two weeks. Compliments!

Ristorante Al Cristo

08/10/2023: Excellent restaurant. Très bonne qualité des plats et service très professionnel. La terrasse est très agréable et au calme. Bon rapport qualité/prix et belle carte des vins.
03/10/2023: Many restaurants in central Verona are an insult to Italian cuisine, as the old city has become overwhelmed with tourists. This one, just about 200m the ‘wrong side’ of p. dei signori, is an exception. The food was outstanding, service impeccable. Not cheap but better value than many. We went a second time a couple of days after our first visit, and were not disappointed. The menu is less extensive than some (no fish of any kind when we went, for example, and a choice of only about 8 or 10 for each of primo and secondi) but all was extremely good. Outside seating is in a very attractive and reasonably private small square
