12/05/2025: La posizione in cima ad una collina tra i vigneti è perfetta, oltre a questo il nulla. La sala è fastidiosamente rumorosa, nessun accorgimento è stato adottato per migliorare il confort acustico della clientela, a fine pranzo ero afono per quanto ho dovuto parlare ad alta voce per farmi sentire da che era seduto a fianco, il servizio è cortese, veloce, ma per nulla professionale, la conoscenza delle regole base su come si portano i piatti, il pane, le posate in tavola non sono a conoscenza di nessun cameriere presente in sala. I piatti, nonostante seguano la tradizione Piemontese, quindi ricette ben conosciute in zona, erano tutti senz' anima, non portavano alcun piacere nel momento in cui venivano consumati, una cucina facile da dimenticare.

16/05/2025: Meat for 10, space to… share I have been to this restaurant again, and I must say that my expectations were not disappointed: perfect cooking, quality cuts and strong flavours that speak for themselves. The staff was another strong point: kind, knowledgeable and always present without ever being intrusive – a rarity nowadays. It's a shame about the environment, which seems to have confused intimacy with the concept of gastronomic co-working: the tables are so close that for a moment I thought I had to split the bill (and the dish) with the table next to me. In short: excellent cuisine, impeccable service, but a little more space between the tables is needed to really enjoy the experience. Otherwise, you risk leaving full… but socially exhausted.

14/01/2025: Siamo stati a cena qualche mese fa in questo bel ristorante nelle Langhe incuriositi dal fatto che lo chef avesse lavorato presso il ristorante tristellato francese trois gros per parecchi anni. Perplessi per la perdita della stella abbiamo confermato il nostro tavolo ed abbiamo fatto super bene! Buonissima cena Buon servizio Squisito il piatto ispirato ai tagli di Lucio Fontana e auguriamo allo chef "di andare oltre" ... noi lo seguiremo in capo al mondo! Bravissimo bravi tutti Veramente incomprensibile a mio parere la decisione della guida francese.

06/04/2025: An evening of romance and good food. Last night my husband gave me a surprise: very perfect!!! The San Pietro restaurant in the pedestrian area of ​​Limone has always been a must for those who want to dine (or have lunch) in a restaurant with an elegant and old-fashioned setting. The tables, rigorously round, are arranged in such a way as to guarantee the privacy of the guests. In the center you can admire a large wooden table on which stands, among other things, an exceptional display of cheeses. We were sitting next to the fireplace. Truly superb menu. I have celiac disease and a lot of attention was paid to me: fassona meat marinated with herbs, crumbled egg yolk and sweet and sour onion. The meat is very tender, tasty and not at all salty. My husband enjoyed a very soft lamb paté (at room temperature and not frozen as often happens) with brioche bread and caramelized onions. Applause-worthy first courses: for me risotto with sausage, Barolo and goat's blue cheese. Perfect cooking and delicate flavor despite the tasty ingredients. For my husband, an extraordinary tagliatelle filled with wild boar stew: a unique flavour, unparalleled softness and, to conclude, the owner of the restaurant delighted us - in every sense - with a soft zabaglione expertly prepared in front of us! Truly a huge round of applause to the chef and his team for giving us a wonderful evening! See you soon

04/05/2025: I have lunch with a friend at this restaurant. What can I say! All very good and highly recommended place. We had Cantabrian anchovies with green sauce and butter and veal with tuna sauce with exceptional capers. Followed by linguine with lemon sauce and tuna tartare, excellent! Finally coffee with small pastries, really good! Super pastiera! All seasoned with excellent service, during which the dishes served are presented.

21/04/2025: ⸻ A weekend of pure beauty and haute cuisine in the heart of the Langhe We spent a weekend at Il Vigneto in Roddi, during a trip to discover the wonders of the Langhe, and I can say without hesitation that it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a breathtaking landscape, immersed in the quiet and authentic beauty of these hills, where calm and peace reign, now rare to find. We chose a suite for our stay and the level of hospitality was equal - if not superior - to many renowned 5-star hotels. Nothing is left to chance: the room is spacious, furnished with impeccable taste and equipped with a hydromassage tub for two people, a large and luxurious bathroom, and a King Size bed with extraordinary comfort. An environment designed for relaxation, with attention to the smallest details. I really wished time would stop. The restaurant, then, was a real revelation. The service is on par with the best gastronomic restaurants: courteous, knowledgeable and attentive dining room staff, impeccable cutlery changes, refills of bread, artisanal breadsticks and focaccias that are always fresh. Every detail is an expression of sober elegance, never forced, and above all of an authentic passion for the territory and the cuisine. The menu is balanced and original, with proposals that combine respect for tradition with innovative and never banal research. 13/05/2025: Very welcoming place with a magnificent view of the Langhe countryside. Precise, attentive and non-invasive service. Excellent cuisine with fresh and homemade products. One of the best bunet I have ever eaten. Finally, we had a Corsican dog in tow and they made us sit at a table with ample space around it and immediately brought us a bowl of water. Compliments to all the staff.

21/04/2025: Deserving of a Michelin star. The quality of the cuisine is decidedly high. The weekly lunch menu is excellent where the goodness of the dishes is not lacking. The view seen from the terrace is enchanting, where there are tables set in the summer and where you can enjoy breathtaking views. Unforgettable dinners! To be booked in advance. The interior of the restaurant is also typical and welcoming. Try the "quail with duck liver and white chocolate". Well-stocked and selected wine cellar. The take-away pastry products are excellent and, depending on the season, we can purchase panettone, colombe, chocolate eggs, gluten-free desserts, etc... Available to serve breakfasts or aperitifs. Excellent prices in relation to the quality and the area. Convenient parking.

08/04/2025: Wenn man spürt das der Gastgeber liebt was er macht. Obwohl eigentlich geschlossen war, wurde nur für uns gekocht. Wir hatten ein mittleres Menü, konnten den Hauptgang wechseln und da ich keinen Dessert mehr mochte, gab es eine Tafel selbstgemachte Schokolade für mich zum mitnehmen. Wir haben uns mehr als willkommen gefühlt, danke!

27/04/2025: Serata del 25 Aprile, ovviamente molto calma, il nostro tavolo di 4 persone piu un altro tavolo di 2 persone. Atmosfera molto tranquilla e accoglimento molto professionale. Ci siamo seduti davanti al camino e abbiamo avuto a nostra disposizione 2 camerieri molto premurosi dopo la visita di quello che presumo fosse il titolare che ci ha illustrato il meno e preso le scelte. Da sotto lineare che siccome il nostro tavolo era composto di 3 persone di lingua inglese i camerieri sono stati molto bravi nell'esposizione e spiegazione dei piatti in Inglese ed anche il menu ci e' stato fornito in inglese, nulla da eccepire. Abbiamo tutti optato per il menu Habitat ed essendoci stata offerta l'opzione di sostituire una portata abbiamo tutti escluso la Lievre en Crute ed abbiamo optato per le Lumache nel Verde. Due dei nostri commensali hanno optato per l'opzione Wine Pairing, gli altri 2 commensali hanno optato per un calice di Alta Langa. I 3 antipasti si sono rilevati unici e molto gustosi, li consiglierei a tutti in quanto sono piatti diversi che non si mangiano sovente, ottima la presentazione, l'accopiamento degli ingredienti ed il gusto. Il primo piatto Dischi Volanti (Castelmagno, Fieno e Chartreuse) non lo raccomanderei a nessuno. La pasta era appena tiepida, il gusto amaro e forte, 2 dei commensali hanno appena assaggiato e gli altri 2 ne hanno lasciato la meta'. Ovviamente e' stato notato e ci e' stato chiesto se non era piaciuto ed abbiamo risposto che cosi era e ci e' stata offerta la possibilita' di un'alternativa ma abbiamo gentilemente ringraziato e declinato. Il secondo piatto Indivia Riccia e' molto povero e l'unico gusto che ho assaporato e quello di una verdura sfilacciata con un sugo di carne, non la raccomanderei a nessuno, la porzione e' molto limitata e considerando che a nessuno dei commensali e' piaciuto la scarsa porzione e' stata d'aiuto. Il dolce finale ha un sapore fresco ma sicuramente non un ricordo memorabile. Con cio detto la cosa che piu' e' dispiaciuta e' stato il Wine Pairing. Non e' stato presentata una scelta dei famosi del piemonte tipo Barolo o Barbaresco, onestamente non ricodo tutti i vini se non il Dolcetto ed il Sangiovese sicuramente non due vini memorabili, non raccomanderei a nessuno di fidarsi di questa opzione, sicuramente il Wine Pairing e' stata una scelta molto sbagliata e da un ristorante di questo livello ci siaspetta molto di piu, il margine che il ristorante ne ricava e' sicuramnte molto elevato offrendo questi vini. Devo ripetere che il personale e' stato molto professionale ed attento e a loro darei un 9, al cibo uno 5 scarso e ai vini un 4. La qualita' prezzo sicuramente lascia molto a desiderare e onestamente non penso che tornero' preso a fare visita.

18/05/2025: It’s almost a shame to leave a review for L’Bunet, for Emilio and his wonderful hospitality. Because when you discover a place like this, it’s like having come into contact with a precious secret that you would like to keep all to yourself. The dinner with the window overlooking an incredible view of the Langhe is perfect in every aspect: the excellent raw materials, the tasty and light recipes, the wine well recommended by the host, excellent as well. And to follow, after a walk in the village of Bergolo, a night of rest in absolute silence. The breakfast the next day is the perfect farewell, to leave with the desire to return soon. 22/10/2024: We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the San Carlo. The hotel is cozy and clean. In the evening we had an outstanding “Tartufo Experience” menu. You can tell how much love and appreciation goes into cooking here. The ingredients were local and fresh, everything was beautifully prepared and served with a top wine recommendation. Paola and Carlo are warm hosts, you immediately feel welcome and in good hands.
