28/11/2024: We went to Nazionale for my husband's birthday and it was a pleasant surprise. Cozy environment, and every dish top marks! I fell in love with the “chiodini e safferano” dish, as well as the “under the snow” dessert. Really kind sommelier who also showed us some particularities of the chosen wine Innovative combinations and really to my tastes We will be back soon, thanks!

01/01/2025: We went for dinner on December 31st. Very disappointed by the food, ordinary, and the atmosphere, not very refined. The glasses for the toast arrived after midnight. Used to going to restaurants throughout the year, the price-quality ratio is absolutely not adequate.

24/12/2024: Superb house, welcome worthy of great restaurants. The staff is very competent. The cuisine is elegant, fine and carefully presented. The wine list is immense but let yourself be advised by the sommelier who is excellent.

17/12/2024: Great find! If you want to taste excellent dishes based on well-selected meat, this is the right place! Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, excellent service and a truly unique venue with a 1950s-style musical background, I think, very relaxing. If I really have to find a negative aspect I think it is the shift management, if you arrive to eat early, for 7.30pm you have the obligation to clear the table by 8.50pm. We were so happy that while chatting we didn't even notice the time and it was rightly pointed out to us. It is also made clear at the time of booking, so it is taken into account, the fact remains that you lose part of the relaxation and tranquility that you expect from a dinner out on a Saturday evening. The experience is recommended in any case!

The menu suggests excellent dishes of local recipes, you are spoiled for choice. Dishes prepared with care and the right quantity. The medium-high prices are adequate for the quality. Good choice also for celiacs. Worth visiting.

15/12/2024: Grande qualità globale ! Grande Fritto Misto a comparti separati, come si conviene per dare qualità ad ogni portata ! Anche i piatti in carta hanno dimostrato creatività e cura. (Baccalà con la liquirizia : voto 10) uovo meringato spettacolo ! I tajarin 33 tuorli messi in tavola con un aspetto rassicurante e gnocco con uovo di quaglia veramente interessante. Siamo stati tutti molto soddisfatti godendo di una grande vista panoramica sulla Langa e letteralmente coccolati dal personale . Bravi . Prezzi in linea con la qualità offerta , con carta dei vini importante ed equa.

21/11/2024: Ho cenato con mio marito al ristorante due sere in quanto ospite presso il Vigneto. La prima cena è stata ottima: tajarin burro e tartufo perfetti. Splendidi i sorbetti. La seconda cena invece non è andata benissimo: il maialino glassato era stracotto e senza glassatura e il filetto di fassona era buonissimo ma annegato nella fonduta (che toglieva il gusto alla carne). Preciso che mi è stato chiesto se volevo sostituire il maialino con un altro piatto e comunque c’è stato uno sconto sul totale della cena. Quindi correttissimi ma questo non ha cancellato la mia delusione. Obiettivamente mi aspettavo una cena all’altezza del background dello chef. 😔

Esperienza unica, locale bellissimo, per un attimo ci siamo sentiti catapultati in un locale da Cinepanettone tipo vacanze di Natale anni 90! Caminetto, ed atmosfera bellissima! Il servizio è stato ottimo, Maurizio e la sua collega di sala ci hanno consigliato ottimamente, piatti davvero buonissimi! Da provare! Grazie di tutto, ci rivedremo presto!!!! 06/01/2025: Unfortunately there wasn't even the chance to try this place because when asked to book by calling on Sunday at 12 for the Saturday after in the evening, the response was: "do you think this is the time to book?" Call back then." Unfortunately the first image of a restaurant is education and kindness (even in the booking service, which they only make possible via telephone call as their website says), and here it was more than insufficient. Bad bad

22/10/2024: We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the San Carlo. The hotel is cozy and clean. In the evening we had an outstanding “Tartufo Experience” menu. You can tell how much love and appreciation goes into cooking here. The ingredients were local and fresh, everything was beautifully prepared and served with a top wine recommendation. Paola and Carlo are warm hosts, you immediately feel welcome and in good hands.
