10/12/2025: Ordered and consumed, Piedmontese-style baked onions. Then ossobuco with mushrooms. Both dishes were sublime, and Mrs. Renata served me with great professionalism and charm. They brought me biscuits with my coffee. The bathroom is worth a visit. Nothing is missing. Even the Wi-Fi works perfectly. Mrs. Roberta welcomed me with a smile and professionalism. I'll be back as soon as I can.
06/12/2025: I think it's one of the best restaurants I've ever tried. The service is cheerful and super attentive. The food is impeccable, even the gluten-free version. I think 5 stars is too few.

01/12/2025: This was our second stay at La Madernassa, having first discovered it in the spring. The rooms are in a renovated farmhouse dating back to 1865. There's a small garden where you can sit when the weather is nice, with a view of Alba. Dinner is served 100 meters away in the hotel's own restaurant. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the entire Western Alps. The food is fantastic, incredibly creative, and made with high-quality ingredients. The service is top-notch, and the wine list is extensive and excellent. Breakfast is served the following morning. Everything is absolutely delicious and of the highest quality. For me, it offers excellent value for money. Add to that the friendliness of all the staff. We'll definitely be back. See you next time!

22/11/2025: Went for lunch, prices too high for the quality. Wine not good. The risotto can only be ordered for two people, so the quality/price ratio needs to be revised downwards. Bad experience.

They use truffle essence in the dishes, which is sold in large quantities in the center of Alba; therefore, the dishes come from the kitchen with the truffle already grated on top! Even when asking for the truffle to be grated in front of you, the dish comes with truffles from the kitchen, to justify the smell of the essence they use!

16/11/2025: We had lunch with a couple of friends to try the famous Alba white truffle. A very welcoming atmosphere with a picturesque view and impeccable service. We tried the delicious dog tartar and the famous traditional tajarin with truffle, both truly excellent. Highly recommended!

26/10/2025: The restaurant is divided into several areas, including an outdoor area, which is pleasant even in early autumn. The interior is homey and well-maintained. The food is delicious; you absolutely must try their raw meat, risotto, Russian salad, rump steak, and everything else. Cooking on soapstone, besides being spectacular, makes the meat very tasty. The Bra sausage is also excellent.

01/12/2025: An institution! Epic dishes and unparalleled kindness. A blast from the past when we locals used it as a pre-dinner drink. Coming back after 20 years, I have to say that everything is as perfect as ever. A little suggestion? Maybe change those cold lights and replace them with warmer ones to make the atmosphere less sterile. Keep up the good work!
09/11/2025: This spaghetti restaurant in Manera was a pleasant discovery. The place isn't very big, but the owner, even though we hadn't called ahead, managed to get us a meal. The appetizers are very generous. The real highlight, of course, are the first courses: a choice of penne, fusilli, and spaghetti, followed by agnolotti, gnocchi, and tagliatelle. But the gluten-free pasta is a must-have. Before choosing your sauces, you need to decide on your portion: regular (200g), small (100g), or generous (300g) for those who want to roll out the door. The sauces are varied: meat-based, fish-based, vegetarian, unusual, and creamy, all at more than fair prices. We tried the tagliatelle alla norma, the Aida gnocchi with stracchino, chopped pistachios, and gorgonzola, and the nocino agnolotti with fontina, chopped hazelnuts, cream, and tomato. Regular portions are already generous, delicious, and, above all, easy to digest! To round out our fabulous meal, we ordered a homemade cake called "nocciotella," made with sponge cake filled with hazelnut cream and hazelnuts, served warm. I love hazelnuts, and I can say it was amazing! Kudos to the service, delivered with simplicity and professionalism, making you feel at ease. Kudos to the friendliness, quality, helpfulness, and cleanliness. We'll definitely be back with friends, but this time we'll book ahead.

20/09/2025: More than a dinner... it's a journey of expertly reinterpreted dishes that speak of the local area. We didn't try the menu but opted for the à la carte menu, and I must say we were very satisfied. Our least favorite was the dessert, but above all, the Sambucana sheep, the Pesio sturgeon, the spaghetti with Castelmagno cheese, the macaroni, and the pork with mushrooms were truly top-notch. The price, as we know, is high for a Michelin-starred restaurant, but it's definitely worth it. The service was prompt, never over the top, truly perfect. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated. We'll be back to try the menu.

12/07/2025: We stayed with Anna (the owner), who was courteous and efficient. The rooms are beautiful, bright, and clean. The location is excellent, quiet, and just steps from the center of the nightlife.
