We had dinner here last night after our wedding and the staff were amazing, they looked after us so well and were so kind. The food and drinks were lovely and the location on the lake is stunning.

We went to this restaurant during our visit to Orta. As a couple, it was an exceptional experience. Despite the rain, the terrace was magical, the view breathtaking, and the food delicious. The cuisine was sophisticated, the setting stunning, and the staff lovely, patient, and attentive, speaking English and even French. The restaurant's parking was very convenient. Highly recommended.

Breathtaking view of the lake, it feels like you're standing in the water. Super friendly and helpful service. Quality food with excellent ingredients. We'll definitely be back.

A good restaurant with lovely views from the terrace. We were there for work and they gave us a set menu, with a very good risotto as our main course. Overall, everything was very good.

Honestly, for €50 per person without wine (appetizer and first course), I expected a much higher quality. The Russian salad didn't convince me at all: eating it, it seemed more industrial than homemade. The trout appetizer also didn't convey much quality; it seemed like a pre-made one. The side salad was very basic. I had the same feeling about the first courses: the panciotti weren't up to par, while the tagliolini with squid ink lacked salt; I had to add it myself. Overall, the cuisine requires more attention, in my opinion, because with a location like this and these prices, you expect much more! That said, the service was very kind and attentive; you feel truly welcomed! The location is beautiful on the lake. And as a huge bread lover... the bread they serve is amazing!

The location comes at a price (outdoor space right by the lake), but it's worth more than the one in the center of Orta. Good food and service, excellent homemade bread (not at all predictable). Recommended.

02/05/2026: We stopped in after a photo shoot, by chance. A private atmosphere with friendly and discreet staff. The pizza is very good, and a small detail: they serve Coca-Cola in a glass bottle. Recommended

20/01/2026: Excellent restaurant with a balanced menu of delicious yet simple dishes. Recommended are the tuna millefeuille and the crème cotta with salted caramel.
26/12/2025: Unfortunately, my Christmas lunch was an unpleasant experience. I called to ask if it was possible to have a vegetarian menu, possibly with fish, and the answer was no problem, in fact, I can indulge myself. The price of the menu was €60, drinks not included, and we were told that they would give us a discount... moral of the story: 4 courses that could have passed for vegetarians because they were on the normal menu with vegetables and cheese. I must point out that we, there were 3 of us, were not given the vegetarian menu. Our 3 friends were given the Christmas lunch menu like all the other diners. Instead of the crostini with salmon, we were given a raw artichoke salad, then risotto with pumpkin, which I didn't have because I'm intolerant. I had gnocchi with castelmagno cheese, as a second course, a vegetable burger with cooked vegetables, which I didn't want, and to finish, a slice of artisanal panettone... moral of the story: at the time of payment, €60. per person, when we mentioned the discount, the response was, "Well, it's Christmas!" So if because it's Christmas I have to spend the aforementioned amount to eat next to nothing, I'll go to a place where they have a vegetarian menu with the option of fish and spend €30/35 max...never again."
