20/08/2026: An unforgettable evening!
We met Chef Gennaro Esposito at an event in Milan, and after speaking with him, we promised ourselves that sooner or later we would visit him at Torre del Saracino to experience his cuisine. We chose to do so for our anniversary, and we can say that the experience significantly exceeded our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, we found an elegant yet incredibly warm, welcoming, and convivial atmosphere, just how we like it. The cuisine is extraordinary: dishes, pairings, balanced flavors, and above all, a meticulous attention to raw materials and the local area. Each course had a story to tell and made the experience much more than a simple Michelin-starred dinner.
But what struck us even more was the attention and kindness of the entire staff. And a special thanks to Chef Gennaro Esposito, who stopped by our table several times, stopping to chat with us, offering advice, and sharing his passion. We even chose part of the menu together: a detail that made the evening even more personal and special.
All the dishes were exceptional, but some will truly remain etched in our memories: the pigeon and spring onion won us over, as did Pastry Chef Michele's desserts, which we'll likely dream about for a long time! And an absolutely obligatory mention for the babà: without exaggeration, one of the best we've ever eaten and definitely not to be missed.
To make the evening even more special, I was also given a small dessert to take away, a simple gesture but truly appreciated and, above all, delicious.
The only real disappointment? Not being able to say goodbye to the Chef before leaving. We would have loved to thank him in person for helping make our anniversary so special.
A truly Michelin-starred experience, yet at the same time human, authentic, and convivial—just how we like it.
We will definitely be back as soon as we can. A heartfelt thank you to you, Chef, and the entire Torre del Saracino team for an evening we will long remember. ❤️

19/08/2026: The evening started well, in a beautiful, elegant room with perfectly air-conditioned surroundings. The oysters arrived 10 minutes after ordering, and were truly delicious and of high quality. Unfortunately, then the problems began: it took 25 minutes for the plate with the oyster shells to be taken away, and another 50 minutes for the second course to be served (after being prompted three times).
Between the second and third courses, we waited another 30 minutes. We didn't order dessert; perhaps it would have arrived for breakfast.
Jokes aside, no one bothered to notify us of the delay or apologize. No apology came, not even when I complained directly to the owner, who only tried to justify himself, blaming the kitchen for the chef's absence and the staff for poor service. Aside from the oysters, of the six dishes ordered, one was unpresentable, three were passable, and two were inadequate. P.S. maybe it wasn't necessary, but offering a liqueur or a drink at the end of the dinner would have been a polite gesture, perhaps even apologizing (at least once).
18/08/2026: I had the pleasure of enjoying an excellent seafood dinner with my sister. The staff were friendly and professional, the fish was well-cooked, and the first courses were truly exquisite: a perfect balance of flavors. The bill was absolutely fair. 15/08/2026: An authentic little bar tucked away in an alley with only two small tables. The food was absolutely delicious! We paid about €20 for our plate and a bottle of water.
14/08/2026: Here we ate some particularly well-prepared and high-quality cicchetti. It was very crowded at 11 am, with a queue; later, around 1 pm, it was a bit quieter. Very popular.

The rustic atmosphere is meticulously maintained, and the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, always available to recommend dishes and wines. Traditional cuisine is made with quality ingredients and features interesting, innovative pairings. The tasting menu is highly recommended, a great way to truly savor the restaurant's offerings. Definitely try the veal with tuna sauce and the ravioli with brown stock.

Andrea welcomes you, a delightful and very kind person who makes you feel at home right away. And then the food, the aromatic herbs gathered in the countryside, the exquisite composition of the dishes, the warmth of the lights, the intoxicating aroma of each course are a treat for all the senses. Dining there is like taking an imaginary journey. Andrea describes every course perfectly, you savor it even before you begin tasting it. He exudes love and dedication. It's not just a simple restaurant, it's warmth, joy... love for one's homeland.
And then there's Barbara, also a very sweet person, her smile lights up her face, they are a fantastic couple. 💞 I will definitely be back and it will be beautiful... I'm sure of it. 💖 Thank you so much for this wonderful experience, I carry you in my heart. 💖

05/08/2026: The reviews live up to the experience. We spent 30 euros and got a big plate and two glasses of wine. All we did was ask the guy for a “small plate” and easily got enough cold cuts and cheese to feed 4 people. I highly recommend giving this place a shot. You can’t go wrong here.

We ended up tasting almost every item on display because we came here twice a day throughout our stay. Everything was fresh, high quality, and full of flavor.
