We were there on March 6th. for dinner, unfortunately our mood was very dampened by the outdated wine list that was available online. We had selected a few wines in advance, but unfortunately they were no longer in stock. I strongly advise the restaurant to keep its website up to date.

What can I say when one goes to the starred restaurant they are almost always satisfied, obviously the quality and service must be paid for but even here it is worth every last euro paid! If you are in Val di Fassa and want to try a starred mountain restaurant I can only recommend it.

Il posto e l’accoglienza, merita le cinque stelle. Servizio eccellente in sala. Il tavolo con vista spettacolare su Moena piena di neve, rende il pranzo del mio compleanno stupendo . Contrariamente al luogo , preferisco assaggiare il pesce. Antipasto di seppie, crema di patate con gamberi, ottimo. Per secondo, baccalà polenta, gamberi con dadini di zucca e guanciale . Presentazione dei piatti top ! Interessante ricevere dal personale la specifica degli ingredienti. ( non sempre avviene ) Il calice di bollicine AlteMasi ,con una buona acidità al palato, si prestava al menu’ scelto . Dolce : vietato ai minori 18 anni …così e’ il suo nome . Tabacco, rhum agricolo e nocciole tostate. Un mixer superbo di sentori interessanti. Super chef …complimenti per gli accostamenti . Avanti così . Prezzo adeguato , per il servizio offerto ( alto livello ) . Consigliato a chi vuole qualcosa di più !!!

I have been several times to this unique restaurant, a flagship of Trentino. A place where excellence in culinary art has been achieved without abandoning tradition, not only in the choice of dishes but also in an overall generosity of approach that is now rare. You are treated very well here. The dishes are sometimes complex, with several ingredients, cooking methods, textures, but never dispersive, indeed very focused. Both a starter of warm cuttlefish (coming with prawns, a potato cream, escarole and "pork cheek oil") and a cod with polenta (not you run of the mill version...) were classy dishes with stunning combinations. But the standouts of the day were, first, tortelloni with milk curd, a veal sauce ("ristretto") and local truffles. Amazing for the aromas, the texture and the depth of flavour of the veal sauce ("ristretto"). And then a suckling lamb, wit several cuts of the meat, cooked in different ways, and many harmonious components. The meal drew to a close on several high notes. They are strong on sweet things here, so a variation of chocolate and and a dish called "18 rated" (tobacco, rum, hazelnuts...) were excellent. But also a pre-dessert marrying yuzu and coffee flavours was a little stroke of genius. Service is very professional and smooth. The atmosphere is elegant but informal, the mountain setting breathtaking. Prices are maybe not the bargain they used to be for this quality, but in view of the excellence of the experience I would say they are still very fair. Bravi.
