15/06/2025: My experience at this place was horrifying. I'll start by saying that the cuts we ordered were inedible, not edible at all... we couldn't even cut them, much less chew them... but the worst thing was when we complained and they said they could have done something else but that we would still have to pay for the cuts... €150 for 4 cuts even though we hadn't eaten anything... I should point out that we weren't the only ones to have complained about the inedible cuts... most of the staff were friendly except for the girl at the cash register who was arrogant, presumptuous and wanted us to pay... at that point we refused and asked to speak to a manager and the girl refused, insisting on making us pay... and when I said that I would refuse to pay for something I didn't eat and that I would call the police... the girl made herself available, making us pay only for the tablecloths, drinks and crisps we had ordered... HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

09/06/2025: We went to this place for lunch. The food was good: simple dishes, well prepared and tasty. Up until that point everything seemed fine. I noticed that a chair was broken and, to prevent someone - maybe an elderly person - from hurting themselves, I brought it (I think to the owner's wife) calmly explaining the reason for my action, done only out of a sense of responsibility. After a while, while we were sitting four or five on a bench a little crowded but calm. Immediately after, turning to the waitresses, he raised his voice and said: "See if I have to let myself be made fun of by such mammoths, I'm forty years old!" The tone was harsh, aggressive and full of frustration, almost as if he felt under attack. The waitresses tried to calm him down, almost as if they had to keep him under control to prevent the situation from degenerating. We were just kids, polite and quiet, who were simply trying to have a peaceful lunch, and instead we found ourselves being insulted and treated with little respect, just because we are young. It's really a shame, because the place is nice and the food is good, but if the person who should welcome you treats you with this attitude, it really makes you want to never come back and never recommend it to anyone.

05/08/2025: Let's just say: the brand should be synonymous with excellent products, but everything is ruined by the beliefs of those serving the tables. If you don't make a certain product as described, say you've run out of it; don't try to claim it's the original recipe; or say you make it this way, but at this point, write it on the menu. I'm sorry, but like many things in shopping malls, they're ruined by sloppiness.

31/07/2025: THE AMERICAN DREAM FOR BREAKFAST If you love American style and its over-the-top breakfasts, White Bakery at the Megaló shopping center in Chieti is a must-see. More than a restaurant, it's a true journey across the stars and stripes—without having to board a plane. The ambiance is meticulously crafted, with a quintessentially American atmosphere that frames a faithful and generous culinary offering. The menu is extensive and includes all the iconic breakfast and brunch dishes from across the Atlantic. But the real surprise is that the quality lives up to the abundance. We ordered giant pancakes, served with maple syrup: fluffy, warm, and perfect. A small muffin—which, given its size, we expected to be dry—surprised us with how soft and fragrant it was. And then the Angel Cake: a cloud of sweetness, well-balanced, with a truly textbook texture. The SERVICE is fast, attentive, and precise, and manages to maintain a smile even during the busiest hours—something not to be taken for granted in such a popular establishment. But the real surprise comes when you get the bill: surprisingly low prices considering the portions, quality, and service. It makes you wonder, "How do they make money off this?" If you dream of the perfect American breakfast, served with care and in XL portions, White Bakery is your corner of the USA in Chieti. Perfect for a sweet break, an alternative brunch, or simply a different experience. Highly recommended, excellent!

10/08/2025: Too bad you can't put a zero. The owner is crazy. He decided to vent his anger at a foreign child who didn't understand the signs for ice cream. When I approached him to tell him it's not okay to talk that way to my son, he started yelling and throwing signs in my face! Crazy stuff!

24/07/2025: Zero-star review... shame on you! They had the nerve to deny a couple of glasses of water to some children who had come there because they were very hot. A lady who witnessed the scene later offered a bottle of water to the children present. Not to mention the rudeness and insults they received. Shameful!!
