Considering we hadn't booked and they seated us right away, quite late in the day, and the service was very prompt, I'm giving it 4 stars.
I didn't love the pizza; we ordered two pizzas, one with vegetables and ham, and one Margherita. The sauce was bitter and undercooked; it was probably a too-high oven that didn't cook it properly. The mozzarella didn't taste like fiordilatte, but rather like stretched curd, so it was very chewy.
It's still 4 stars because the dough, despite being soft, was very light.
We'll try it again, trying to arrive early to try other specialties on the menu.

Terrible service, asked for the same thing multiple times, knives were missing from the table, we asked for bottled wine and they brought it in a jug, endless wait for three pizzas, a friend took the cutting board, the last one to be served, and the focaccia was brought after we had finished our pizzas. The staff was rude and unwilling to listen.
There was a never-ending line for the bathroom, so I gave up. An experience not to be repeated.

Vasto Marina Ristorante-Pizzeria- La Rusticana- is across the street from the beach and a wonderful place to bring family and friends from the fresh made Pizzas to Fantastic fresh fish dishes you will not be disappointed! Pricing is average and service is top notch. We ate there several times as we wanted to sample the great variety!

I just left the "La Rusticana" restaurant.
The owner was incredibly kind: he gave me his seat so I could sit and eat, since the restaurant was completely full.
The staff doesn't speak much English, but that wasn't a problem at all. We managed to understand each other perfectly.
The food? Simply extraordinary. One of the best meals I've ever had.
If it were possible, I'd give it 10 stars.
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.
I'll definitely be back!
