14/04/2024: Sono tornato in questo locale nel giorno di Pasquetta con il solito gruppo di amici e ho potuto apprezzare anche in questa occasione la dedizione e la cortesia di Luciano, Angela e del personale di sala. Cucina molto gredevole con piatti serviti nelle giuste quantità in un ambiente che richiama antiche tradizioni in un contesto di originale semplicità.

It is here that we had the honor of enjoying two stellar dishes: cod and paella. The cod, soft and tasty at the right point, melted in the mouth, leaving a seafood aftertaste that only very fresh fish can provide. The paella, however, was a true masterpiece of balance: rice cooked to perfection, with a rich and deep flavor enriched by selected seafood, crunchy vegetables and the magical touch of saffron. The refined setting and attentive staff only amplified the experience, making dinner not just a meal but a precious memory. 20/08/2024: Definitely recommended. We often pass through Vasto on our trips to the south but it is the first time we have stopped and eaten here. A themed place to keep children happy, the food is excellent for the prices asked, exceptional cutting board and generous skewer, cooked to perfection. Quality beer. The service wasn't very fast but we had no reservations and a table was found for us in 10 minutes, the place was really full and the staff did their best. I can't stay here to explain the reasons, but the gentleman with the graying hair at the checkout with us proved to be a decidedly honest gentleman and restaurateur. We will definitely be back.

18/08/2024: I brought my family from Rome to eat fish here because I always had a good time. Unfortunately my brother received a fry that was lukewarm in the center and cold on the sides, it can happen in a restaurant that is always full. My brother pointed it out to her but the response of the chef and owner was disconcerting, according to him she got cold because we were under the air conditioner as if we were inside a cold room, even saying it in an annoyed and rude way. It left us stunned!! I felt guilty about the evening. Anyone who has a business must know how to accept criticism. We paid for both the fried food that my brother rightly gave back and no longer wanted, and the other 2 that we had ordered and were equally uneaten, without taking a breath into the cash register because we are not cheeky poor people as he says. If you want to go to Barone Rosso you will eat good fish but for the love of God don't criticize anything.

18/08/2024: Negative experience. They don't accept criticism even in the face of evidence, treating customers with sufficient arrogance.... a little humility wouldn't hurt. We complained that we received a lukewarm and limp fry, the waitress called the chef, annoyed and insisted in front of the evidence saying that it wasn't true, even though he told us that he was willing to do it again we refused it given the lack of professionalism, we also left him the two fried foods we ordered later because they were limp and full of oil. We got up, paid the bill including the fried foods that we didn't eat. I have never had an experience like this in the many years that I have been going to restaurants. I hope this way of doing things is temporary, perhaps due to stress, but you have to think that families including mine go to restaurants to eat well and in peace.

But the delicious dishes are definitely worth returning! We had stuffed mussels, roasted octopus on pea cream, a starter of cured meats and cheeses, spaghetti with clams, hamburgers and a sliced ​​steak 😋

20/07/2024: Abbiamo recentemente trascorso una splendida vacanza al mare presso l’Hotel LE MORGE a Torino di Sangro e non possiamo che consigliare vivamente questa struttura. Fin dal nostro arrivo, siamo stati accolti con grande calore dal titolare Paolo, che si è dimostrato sempre presente e attento alle nostre esigenze.Paolo non solo gestisce l'hotel con professionalità, ma è anche impegnato nella sala ristorante a servire con un sorriso e a garantire che ogni pasto sia un'esperienza piacevole. La cucina è un altro punto forte di questo hotel, grazie alle incredibili capacità culinarie di Eleonora, la moglie di Paolo. Ogni piatto preparato da Eleonora è una vera delizia, realizzato con ingredienti freschi e locali che esaltano i sapori della cucina tradizionale. Ogni pasto è stato una scoperta di sapori autentici, preparati con passione e cura. La combinazione di un'ospitalità calorosa, un servizio eccellente e una cucina straordinaria hanno reso il nostro soggiorno piacevolissimo. Grazie a Paolo ed Eleonora, ci siamo sentiti come a casa e abbiamo potuto godere appieno della nostra vacanza al mare.

14/07/2024: We ate here based on hearsay and I have to say it was very good. As for the starters, we had two sets with raw fish, very fresh and good fish. We had a problem with the linguine with seafood which was so salty as to be inedible but the boy apologized and after 5 minutes he brought it back to us and they were very good. The only thing in my opinion that is a little exaggerated is the price for two, €90 for two appetizers, a spaghetti, 2 bottles of water and 2 glasses of wine, but it's worth it for having eaten fish and above all for being a hotel. For me everything was excellent overall as was the service.

29/08/2024: Nothing to say about the food and service, but the covers are definitely excessive. Benches stacked on top of each other, excessively small spaces, 8 diners served on tables for 4, max 6 people (children). Definitely a very uncomfortable dinner. We ate on top of each other and in a hurry, so we could get up as soon as possible! Truly an exaggeration!

27/08/2024: At dinner last night, we were pleasantly struck by the kindness and speed of service from the entire staff, always working with a smile (no small feat and increasingly rare to find). Light pizza dough and excellent product quality. Internal room with optimal climate. Perfect place in the center of Vasto Marina for those who want to eat well and quickly without long waits!

26/08/2024: I'm sorry to give a negative review but we stopped in this restaurant to eat a pizza, once at the table we were told that the dough was finished (at 9.30). Really poor and poor quality starter. The first one is passable. The thing I didn't like was continuing to justify the delays with customers by continuing to say that there are too many people. I noticed a lot of disorganization. When I go to dinner I want to spend a nice evening and not have the anxiety that the staff and especially the owner gives me. For me the problems must not reach the customers.

26/08/2024: we booked for dinner at 10pm, once we arrived they informed us that the pizza blocks were finished, indecent! the waiters were rude to the end, we ordered bitters and a cheesecake which took 20 minutes to arrive even though the place was now empty, we didn't even have time to finish drinking them before we were asked to leave, despite having delayed the arrival of the orders, the owner was annoyed by our request to split the bill. terrible experience, in the three times I came they never got anything right, I don't recommend it.

23/08/2024: I had dinner with my wife in this restaurant for 3 evenings and we always had a good time. Excellent dishes and friendliness are a winning card of the place. Very recommended. Remember to book.
