19/09/2024: This summer, in August, while other beaches rejected me and my family, Antonio, the owner of the beach, his family and the staff, welcomed us as if they had always known us. We immediately felt pampered and our every need was met with professionalism and great humanity. Antonio is a special person and will certainly make your stay in San Salvo much more rewarding and peaceful. I strongly suggest!

06/09/2024: Education is not at home in this shore. I bought a seasonal umbrella last year and found my place occupied several times by day workers. Never eaten in that kitchen so I can't judge it, everything else negative. Old and worn deckchairs

11/12/2024: After climbing an unlikely staircase, I ask what time the service starts. They answer me: at 8.15pm. I'll be back - climbing the terrible staircase with my wife - at 8.30pm. No one in the room, just the tables still piled on top of each other and an unpleasant smell of fried food. It will be for another time. Perhaps Or maybe not

14/08/2024: Every time I come to Abruzzo on holiday, I am happy to go to Roccaspinalveti, to have dinner at the trattoria "La Fonte", a quiet little place that I have already reviewed years ago, and I guarantee that I will confirm everything again. On Sunday evening 11 August I stopped for dinner, where I found the usual very kind welcome that distinguishes this restaurant. Angelica, the owner, welcomed us, even though I hadn't booked, she made herself available to set up an outdoor table as we had our big dog with us, she listed the delicacies prepared by her mother in the kitchen and we ordered. What can I say, for those who know Abruzzo cuisine it was like being at home, rigorously homemade pasta alla guitar and... grilled lamb their "mu st", this is what we chose from the various proposals. I recommend it without a shadow of a doubt......exceptional quality and price, not to mention the quantity.... Excellent.

06/11/2024: Il cibo merita un 5 pieno. Veramente tutto buonissimo, anzi ottimo. La stella mancante è perché non puoi finire antipasto, primo e secondo in 22 minuti, chiedere una pausa di 10 minuti per il dolce e questo ti arriva dopo 5. C'erano tavoli non apparecchiati, quindi non credo volessero mandarci via, ma non credo abbiamo mai mangiato in 45 minuti. Vicino alla cassa bottiglie di liquore che non vengono pulite da mesi, piene di polvere, inoltre il proprietario dovrebbe spendere due soldini per mettere dell'aspirazione come si deve, arrivati in b&b abbiamo dovuto mettere i vestiti che indossavamo sul balcone, e meno male che l'avevamo, tanto erano impregnati dalla puzza di fritto. Inoltre, in cucina, a parte una signora, nessuno portava una cuffia per capelli. Alla fine 5 per il cibo ma, dovessimo ripassare per Ortona, non torneremo, per gli altri fattori.

07/07/2024: Un locale culto, per generazioni ormai abbiamo il mito di Serrone. Un posto dove puoi bere buona birra e gustare le famosissime " bruschette gourmet", come le chiamiamo noi, fatte con amore e prodotti freschissimi, quelle al pomodoro, in stagione sono una delizia. Seduto ad una semplice panca di legno, sorseggiando, ti godi il fresco e la vista sulle colline, mentre i bimbi giocano tra le panche ( zona recintata quindi sicura) . L'esperienza diventa ancor più rilassante per la simpatia e la cortesia di Gianni e Lucio, eccellenti gestori! A volte le attese della panineria sono un po' lunghine, ma sicuramente non ci si va se si ha fretta, quindi, ci vediamo lì!
