04/10/2025: We chose Convivium for our wedding. Stefania and the entire Sporting staff were fabulous. Our day exceeded all expectations. Starting with the food: a large buffet of hot and cold appetizers with various show-cooking stations; throughout the lunch, from starters to main courses, the quantity and quality were excellent; we received nothing but compliments from our guests; and finally, the fruit and dessert buffet was generous with a wide variety of choices, including freshly prepared Nutella crepes. Their meticulous attention to allergies and intolerances is noteworthy, and they were ready to accommodate any need. The maître d', Nicola, Stefania's right-hand man, always made us feel at ease. Along with him, the entire staff is known for their kindness, discretion, and efficiency. A special thanks goes to Stefania, who oversaw the organization of the entire event, demonstrating maximum attention to detail from start to finish. She was with us throughout the day, attentive to our emotions, and always had a solution ready for any request or wish of the newlyweds.

27/02/2026: Despite a despicable mishap on the way home after picking up the cake, I nearly ruined it. I returned and they fixed the situation in 5 minutes. Their professional customer service and unpretentious approach made me feel at home and reassured. This will definitely remain my go-to pastry shop in the historic center. I sincerely thank the counter staff and the pastry chef for their professionalism, courtesy, and expertise.

11/10/2025: This is my third time in the area for work and I've stayed at this hotel. Very centrally located, the rooms are clean and quiet, and the owner is wonderful. It's a shame that after COVID, I was told, they no longer offer food.

28/12/2025: So I have very few five star reviews that I've been able to award and I think this was perhaps the easiest five star I've given, and in addition, this is one of only five that I've marked as a favourite for myself. Unconstructively, I have absolutely no notes, the food, the atmosphere, the music, the service was all fantastic. I'm only sad that I don't live nearby. As a brief note on the food; several of the dishes dilived a beautifully robust smoked and charred flavour, but amazingly never overpowered or distracted from the dish and served only to compliment it!

21/03/2026: Great place for a quick dinner, a cozy place with great music. The fries are delicious, perfectly crispy and not at all greasy. The burgers are excellent and truly delicious, made with fresh meat and available in a wide variety of variations, to suit all tastes. The bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, truly perfect. The piadina kebab is superb, large, filling, and well-seasoned. Plus, the owners are super kind and welcoming, which always makes the difference.

21/03/2026: A wonderful surprise in Alfedena: Vineria Caraceni. An authentic place, passionately run by a young couple: Guido, in the kitchen, and Giovanna, who welcomes guests with great care and attention. The cuisine is refined yet sincere, with dishes that showcase the local area and a thoughtfully curated wine selection. Passion, expertise, and a love for their work are evident. An absolutely worthwhile stop for those who love good food and drink.

01/12/2025: Selected ingredients, high-quality meats and cheeses, a focus on local ingredients yet a wide-ranging approach, with excellent vegetarian options and refined presentations. A refined and constantly evolving wine list. Impeccable hospitality in the dining room, an enchanting setting, both in the garden and inside, especially next to the wonderful fireplace.

17/03/2026: It would be really helpful if you could indicate your actual opening days on Google. When you've traveled from far away and the bar is closed on Tuesdays, even though Google says otherwise, it's really frustrating. See you soon!

18/01/2026: Clean apartment, in a wonderful environment. The doors were insulated so the cold came in. Only lukewarm water in the bathroom. They didn't want to give me a bill, I only got it for the last day, I didn't get any for the meals, but I didn't want to argue anymore!

17/01/2026: My son, a swimmer, stayed at this hotel because he and his teammates were competing at the Lanciano pool. He told me that at breakfast time, he was preparing a sandwich to take with him to eat after the race. Unfortunately, before the warm-up, athletes have to eat lightly, so breakfast couldn't be a big one. They forbade him from taking the sandwich out and advised him to eat it then or leave it there. I'm speechless!!!! Terrible service.

You sit down and begin with an aperitivo that's a journey—bruschetta with fresh cherry tomatoes or mouth-watering gorgonzola, local cured meats and cheeses on those carefully arranged trays, paired with a glass of Montepulciano or a simple yet perfect cocktail, all served with calm and style. The atmosphere is magical, intimate, perfect for a slow chat under the warm lights of the pedestrian area: you leave feeling light-hearted but satisfied, already thinking about the next round to try that wine you saw on the list. A place to cherish, without regrets.
