A resource for those who love this area and have seen historic businesses close over time. An option for those passing through. Personally, only positive experiences. So much so that I'm surprised there are some negative reviews. But then I think that certain places aren't for everyone. Highly recommended!

23/04/2026: Last Sunday, at 2.30pm we were looking for a place to have lunch, convinced we wouldn't find it. They welcomed us with great kindness and professionalism despite the hour, and they pampered us and served us well, and above all, we ate wonderfully. You guys are excellent, keep it up.

You won't find special effects or over-the-top displays, but something much rarer: consistency, quality, and respect for tradition. It's a place where gelato once again takes center stage, free from distractions. Maurizio's is proof that, when things are truly done well, they don't need to be overdone to be remembered. 06/04/2026: I don't usually frequent restaurants during strictly holiday-related periods, but this time, for family reasons, I had to. I chose this restaurant in the company of another couple of friends. Easter, yesterday, set menu. We left enthusiastically, the location is stunning inside with some rooms with carriage vaults, outside immersed in nature not far from Loreto Aprutino. DEA, the owner and her son, wonderful people, willing, precise and friendly waitresses, the food was well presented and abundant, qualitatively impeccable, considering the holiday and the turnout, which however was not invasive and allowed for a peaceful enjoyment. The menu was the classic Easter one, excellent the lamb porchettato, the cacio e uovo and the lamb tripe, quality wine by the glass. Fixed price, but competitive... we will definitely return to allow the restaurateur to offer other specialties and give the best of herself... in the meantime, THANK YOU...

26/10/2025: I'm giving the service one star out of solidarity. You can't wait 3/4 of an hour for 4 bruschetta and a tray of cold cuts for two people, and the same for the first courses. We gave up the mixed roast, otherwise we would have left after 4 pm. It's a shame because the first courses were excellent and plentiful. I'm curious to know what happened in the kitchen, because the two waitresses were quick to serve.

12/08/2025: The four of us arrived spontaneously around 9 pm and were immediately seated. The food arrived very quickly and was absolutely delicious! We all agreed that we had never eaten such good pinsa before. The dough was both fluffy and crispy, and the pinsa were generously topped. We opted for large pinsa and also ordered a Nutella pinsa for dessert. The total bill for the four of us came to just under €60. The restaurant and outdoor area looked well-maintained, and the restrooms were clean. We would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

I can only praise the refined cuisine, the courteous and professional service, and the welcoming atmosphere. Prices are considered appropriate for the quality offered. It is highly popular for romantic dinners and family celebrations, birthdays, weddings, etc. In short: a refined restaurant in a charming natural setting, quality cuisine with an innovative touch, attentive service, and an ideal setting for special occasions.

I visited the restaurant with my whole family and found a vibrant atmosphere, with young, talented people enriched by excellent training and a strong desire to grow. Delicate dishes that perfectly combine vegetables, which are never presented as a simple side dish, but always a distinctive element on par with the meats. The wine list is designed to enhance the flavor of the dishes served, leaving a good selection of options across price ranges. The total cost is commensurate with the quality of the dishes, products, and service. If you're looking for a diner where you'll leave feeling heavy from the large portions served, this isn't the right place. If you want to experience high-quality, obsessively thought-out cuisine, this place won't disappoint.

11/11/2025: An unexpected discovery, recommended by local friends, a trattoria serving the freshest seafood, deliciously cooked according to Abruzzo tradition. The welcome and service were courteous and attentive. Cloth tablecloths and napkins were provided! The excellent Chieti wine was the icing on the cake! Reasonable prices. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

20/10/2025: The place is a bit dated. The food is excellent and well-prepared; authentic and genuine cuisine (you rediscover ancient flavors). The price/quality ratio is all in favor of the customer (believe me). My friends and I ate cod. Enjoy this wonderful experience. I highly recommend it. I'll be back for meat next time. I'll keep you updated.
