22/08/2025: Everything was delicious, a fillet steak like few others can make. They were also very friendly and kind, which is not a given these days. As soon as we return to Abruzzo, this will be our first stop. Thanks guys!!

28/09/2025: Passing by, the food was a huge disappointment: pasta with mushrooms that were swimming in the sauce, decent meat, decent potatoes, a fresh tart, a glass of wine, and a caffè corretto (coffee with a touch of alcohol). Only one person for the modest price of 66 euros. Are we crazy?

26/09/2025: The porcini mushroom fettuccine (abundant) was delicious, as were the cold cuts from the appetizers we ordered! I tried the crème brûlée, which was sublime. I'll definitely be back.

06/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable...there was practically no wait between ordering and the first course. We'll definitely be back.

07/05/2025: We had already eaten in this bar-pizzeria-diner, because it was the only place open for lunch in Rocca di Mezzo. We had a very good time, so we wanted to repeat the experience. The place is very small and offers only three tables to sit at, but usually, you expect very little. The choice of dishes, apart from the pizzeria, is limited: 4/5 first courses (excellent soups), as many second courses (try the roast caciotta) and side dishes. More choice for desserts (the tarts are delicious). The menu, on the other hand, varies very often. The icing on the cake is the friendliness and courtesy of the ladies who always welcomed us with a smile.

30/04/2025: Avevamo già mangiato in questo bar-pizzeria-tavola calda, perché era l'unico locale aperto a pranzo a Rocca di Mezzo. Ci eravamo trovati molto bene, per cui abbiamo voluto ripetere l'esperienza. Il locale è molto piccolo ed offre solo tre tavoli per potersi sedere, ma solitamente, si aspetta molto poco. La scelta delle pietanze, a parte la pizzeria, è limitata: 4/5 primi (ottime le zuppe), altrettanti i secondi (da provare la caciotta arrosto) ed i contorni. Più scelta per i dolci (buonissime le crostate). Il menù, in compenso, varia molto spesso. La ciliegina sulla torta è la simpatia e la cortesia delle signore che ci hanno sempre accolto con un sorriso.

28/09/2025: I went to celebrate my 40th birthday, the food was excellent quality, the cake service needed updating, it was served as if it were a pizza, all in all we had a good time.

09/10/2025: What a charm! Food was fantastic (we had pasta) and the chef was very friendly! We can definitely recommend it. Only the interior wasn’t the best with a big tv running. If you have the chance to sit outside with warm weather it’s much better. Thanks for the good food!

27/07/2025: A pastry shop that always amazes! Dolci Momenti's cakes are simply unique: beautiful to look at and even better to taste. Each creation is made with care, flavor, and a lot of passion. A true reference for those who love sweets made with love.

07/09/2025: Every time we passed by, we noticed a lot of cars, so we decided to book for lunch, but the dishes weren't satisfying. The first courses were flavorless and seasoned with less-than-fresh ingredients, while paying €18 for a roast with two pieces of meat seemed excessive to me. They could be improved.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, demonstrating great customer service and making guests feel immediately at ease. The food is top-quality: the sandwich I ordered was well-prepared, rich in flavor, and meticulously crafted. A positive experience that deserves to be recommended.

14/09/2025: What a gem this is! A fifteen-minute walk from the Lo Schioppo campsite via Piano Sacramento. Opening hours aren't very clear, but on this Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was open for lunch. Simple and delicious food, reasonably priced, and the cheesecake for dessert was absolutely fantastic!

20/08/2025: My experience at La Mandra restaurant was undoubtedly positive. The location is stunning, surrounded by greenery and just steps from the entrance to the "Zompo Lo Schioppo" nature reserve, which I recommend visiting early in the morning and then having lunch at this excellent restaurant. The establishment also offers a B&B service. Lunch, which I had the pleasure of experiencing on two different occasions, with friends and family, began with a tasty appetizer of local cured meats, accompanied by olives and grilled vegetables prepared authentically in-house. The first courses consist of excellent homemade fresh pasta, such as fettuccine, gnocchi, or ravioli (filled with excellent ricotta) topped with sauces (ragù or tomato and basil) or other very tasty preparations (truffle or boscaiola). For the second courses, we opted for excellent and generous mixed roasts accompanied by equally delicious side dishes; we particularly enjoyed the broccoli and seasoned tomatoes. A wide selection of homemade desserts, including an excellent Neapolitan pastiera, and a special mention for the exquisite baked cheesecake, which is quite rare in Italy. A special mention also goes to the gentian liqueur, highly recommended after a meal with coffee. We were greeted by the family-run staff with great helpfulness and courtesy. On one of our visits, even our big dog, Charlie, was welcomed with open arms. The indoor and outdoor spaces and bathrooms are spotless, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is excellent. We'll be back and highly recommend it.

The atmosphere is family-friendly, as is the service. It doesn't have a parking area, but the nearby square fully accommodates customers' needs.

09/10/2025: I've had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant several times and it's always a thrill! The food is excellent and the service is impeccable! For my mom's birthday, it was truly special: Luana and the entire staff pampered us with a menu that exceeded our expectations, relaxing music, and a cheerful atmosphere. All accompanied by the sound of the waves in the background: the restaurant's location is truly strategic! Special attention to the gluten-free options (everything delicious as always) and attention to detail! What can I say... if you pass by the Trabocchi Coast, you absolutely must stop here, highly recommended! ❤️
