18/10/2025: My husband and I enjoyed excellent quality dishes for lunch. The delicate sauces enhance the full flavor of the fish; there are no breadcrumbs, concentrated sauces, or strong spices: even the dessert made with stale bread is simple and elegant. 👏🏻 We also greatly appreciated the white linen placemats and cutlery holder. The staff who served us were very kind, attentive, and friendly. Thanks to all the staff and to the chef, who enlightened us about the history of the family trabocco, which inspired him to delight us with unique and refined dishes.

07/12/2025: I was looking for a last-minute restaurant that would welcome me on a Saturday night. I discovered that in Sulmona, the downtown restaurants are fully booked on weekends. The kind owner found me a spot. I had their own pinsa, which was really good and light. My friend had the ravioli with ricotta and herbs and was very satisfied. It's worth a visit.

19/08/2025: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The rooms are a little dated, but the staff and hospitality make the difference. Piero, in particular, is the best, always available and kind, ready to accommodate all your needs. The food is excellent. The location is very good. Although there is no private parking, it's easy to find a spot near the hotel. We personally highly recommend it to anyone visiting Villetta Barrea, and we'll definitely be back. Probably the best value for money!

14/08/2025: Highly recommended, the hotel is spotless and strategically located for enjoying the national park. I stayed for a week and felt right at home. Mr. Pietro was incredibly kind, and Chef Luigi delighted us with his delicious dishes for both breakfast and dinner! I'll definitely be back.

21/11/2025: Lunch for four, excellent food. I could eat tons of cavatelli for a starter, with that white sauce... oh my! The staff were very polite and not at all pushy. I highly recommend it!

03/11/2025: I've been several times as a group or as a couple and have tried various menus. The place is intimate, modern, with great attention to detail. Refined yet contemporary. I've always found the dishes to be well-balanced, especially the fish dishes. Even the wine selection, whether from the menu or the tasting menu, has surprised us with its thoughtfulness and selection. The service is perfect, attentive yet very discreet. I'll be back as soon as possible.

02/09/2025: A TRUE FAMILY-RUN TRATTORIA PIZZERIA, courtesy, hospitality, simplicity, and excellent cuisine, as is the pizzeria. We were welcomed by a simple and warm dining room, with a record player playing vinyl, perfectly in keeping with the evening. Simple, home-cooked cuisine with daily specials. Everything was wonderful, highly recommended!!!

05/12/2025: "Slightly overpriced, but a top experience" High-end gourmet sushi, slightly overpriced Monday dinner at 8:30 PM with a friend: we chose the €50 "Omakase Ichi" menu (four courses selected by the kitchen). The dishes were meticulously crafted, with excellent ingredients and pairings that made gourmet sushi a reality, even for first-timers like me. Beatrice was excellent in the dining room: kind, attentive, and very clear in explaining the dishes and ingredients. The place was small, well-decorated, and welcoming. We ended up spending €67 each, including a glass of wine and a bottle of water for two: for me, that's a significant sum and a bit above what I'd expect, even for gourmet sushi. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and the place still deserves five stars, especially for an occasional dinner.

29/11/2025: It was my first time at this restaurant, and it won't be my last. The chitarra alla teramana was delicious, with a rich, flavorful sauce. The goat alla neretese, tender and flavorful, really won me over. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was very friendly and welcoming: a place I'll definitely be returning to!

07/11/2025: It takes luck to get a table, even on weekdays. Reservations are required. To find the place, it's best to know the area. The streets are typical of inland Abruzzo towns with beautiful scenery. Drivers should be careful not to be distracted, and it's recommended to drive slowly and carefully. The restaurant is simple, and the staff is very friendly and can offer recommendations. The food, with a limited menu, is excellent for those who love certain dishes. The drinks are good. The price isn't excessive. We tried for three years before we finally managed to book at least 10 days in advance. Anyone who loves the flavors of Abruzzo will certainly be pleased.

22/08/2025: An hour and a half to wait for two pizzas. They served a table of 15 people who arrived after us. Instead of apologizing, the owner was rude and told us never to come back. Which we will.

22/08/2025: On our way back on August 15th, we decided to stop by Guerrinuccio for dinner without a reservation; they seated us. We had a mixed antipasto (without pork) with beef and truffle carpaccio, cheese, and vegetables, a truly excellent wild boar pappardelle, and a grilled steak cooked to perfection, medium rare. Everything was excellent, and the prices were average. Every time we come back, it's a regular stop for us! Always excellent!

The service was excellent, the food fresh and flavorful, with an impressive variety of choices. Everything we tried was delicious. Make sure to take the time to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. We’ll definitely be back again! 👏
