14/09/2025: We're from Ortona, and on our way back down from our beautiful mountain, without a reservation, we were looking for a restaurant where we could relax. Of course, since it was Sunday and we arrived at lunchtime, it was sold out, so we weren't surprised. So we found ourselves in this welcoming place. The owner is uniquely genuine, kind, friendly, easy-going, and absolutely loving towards our daughter. He has good principles for conversation at the table, perhaps involving both adults and children in abandoning technology and sharing the conversation. The local flavors are superb! We were satisfied with the excellent lunch, and will definitely be back. Thank you for your hospitality!

01/09/2025: From the sea to the mountains On the last Sunday of August, tired of the sea heat, we decided to head to the mountains for a cool breeze and pair it with an excellent mushroom lunch. Chalet number 7 was exactly what we were looking for. The mushroom appetizers were delicious, but the porcini carpaccio deserved a special mention. Burrata ravioli with porcini mushrooms and lemon slivers, a truly excellent dish, where the sweetness of the burrata contrasts with the bitterness of the lemon, creating a whirlwind of flavors. The fried Ascolana pasta, paired with a delicious fried porcini mushroom cap, and to finish, the grilled lamb, mutton, and porcini mushrooms, all simply delicious. The staff were very friendly and willing to recommend the right portions of each dish. Excellent, it was worth traveling a few kilometers to discover this splendid "Chalet number 7."

We literally savoured mouth-watering platters, featuring a wide variety of products, all of which were of excellent quality, refined, and tasteful in their presentation. We found the cool air wonderful for this summer, a warm welcome for us and our furry friend, and spectacular prices, just like their craft beers! Professional, attentive staff who welcome you with a smile and make you feel at home! Coffee, pastries included, and the option to take away truly authentic, artisanal products! 30/06/2025: We took a cutting board and a beer, a lot of variety of cured meats, cheeses and local products. The place is very nice, with tables both in the square and in the cave.

30/08/2025: Excellent restaurant in a small town. Very well-maintained and welcoming. We went as a couple, along with a small dog, with no problem. The dishes, especially the starters, are unique, tasty, and substantial, yet not far removed from regional cuisine. I was surprised; I thought I'd find a tourist-friendly setting, but instead you can taste the care put into the preparation of the dishes. The desserts are very good.

21/08/2025: Reply To Mr. Girolamo Saviato... I treated you the same way you treated me... with no respect for the workers... with arrogance and presumption... Without a good morning, you took the menu and sat down at your table without asking if it was free, and with a pedantic air, you insisted on ordering before others already seated at their reserved tables. When I pointed this out to you, you got up and left, giving a senseless review of the food because you didn't enjoy our dishes. Ll Let's not say the customer is always right... in this case, I'd say no!!! ... Kind regards, the arrogant waitress!!! In this place, respect for customers reigns supreme... something you didn't show me...

03/10/2025: Welcoming restaurant, highly trained staff with great customer service and excellent presentation and explanation of the dishes, featuring unique local delicacies, truly exquisite. Everything was delicious, highly recommended. A 10 also goes to Luca, the waiter, who was fast, attentive, kind, and extremely knowledgeable about the dishes.
