The atmosphere is family-friendly, as is the service. It doesn't have a parking area, but the nearby square fully accommodates customers' needs.

18/09/2025: ...it's comfortable, and spotlessly clean, serves neatly cooked traditional dishes for no-frills, no-fuss quick meals. staff are experienced, capable, welcoming – and manage to keep restrooms the way they should be kept! local crowd at aperitifs' time tend to easily get overly loud – place is roadside pit-stop for recurring farmers, truckers, industry workers and bikers, at the end of the afternoon... rest of the day sounds much quieter. never failed me in about four years, no matter which shift was on duty when i stopped by (which happens at least twice per week)... on my weekly route before letting Mantua slide by, it's either this one for me, or simply keep driving to destination if still closed.

31/07/2025: Welcoming place, very friendly staff, and excellent service. We found the place knowing they had vegan and gluten-free options, and indeed the selection is extensive. They offer Dream Farm mozzarella (for a €2 surcharge) and various creams and vegetables for truly delicious pairings. However, the gluten-free pizza base is prepackaged (Roman-style) and the surcharge is €4 (everything is listed on the menu), making the vegan and GF options quite expensive. There was a tart available that was both vegan and GF, which was truly delicious. In any case, we recommend going and trying the various options; you can see the passion of the people running the place and the warm welcome.

15/10/2025: Nice osteria in a beautiful cellar vault. Since we only had one night in Penne, we only ate there once—we would have certainly eaten there more often otherwise. Both starters, main courses, and dessert were really, really, really delicious. There was also a very good house wine and super friendly service. Absolutely fantastic value for money—I highly recommend this osteria. We wish we had a restaurant like this around the corner from home :)

05/10/2025: A fantastic experience at this very rustic restaurant in Civitella Alfedena. It used to be a stable and was later converted into a restaurant. The food is good value for money, and the quality is excellent. Highly recommended.

18/04/2025: I had the chance to attend a Nebbiolo tasting held at this venue. The food was excellent, crafted like a true work of art by Chef Marino. The wine pairing was handled with great professionalism, and the table service was both kind and efficient. Definitely a place to keep on your personal “must-visit” list. Highly recommended! 30/11/2025: The dedication with which they carry out their work is evident as soon as you enter this restaurant. The door is adorned with stickers displaying titles, awards, and accolades, including a Michelin-recommended restaurant, which will continue through 2026; this detail immediately gives a glimpse of the quality you'll encounter. The interior is elegant and welcoming, with attention to detail that creates a pleasant, yet understated, atmosphere. The dishes fully meet expectations: balanced flavors, clean presentation, and ingredients treated with great respect. The cover charge is €6, which I consider reasonable given that it includes an entrée and a pre-dessert. Also, keep in mind that there's no extra charge for additional bread. Nothing to complain about. A truly worthwhile place, and one I highly recommend.

30/08/2025: Takeout pizza. We went there yesterday, August 29, quite early, and didn't wait long to receive our order. My experience was very positive: the pizza was thin, well-topped, and, above all, well-cooked. We'll definitely be back. Recommended.

15/08/2025: Informal and relaxing atmosphere. Menu with a choice of 6 or 8 courses. Mainly vegetarian dishes. I recommend the 6 courses because I struggled to finish them. Original and flavorful dishes. I recommend the bell pepper. The guinea fowl leg was perhaps a bit dry, but the breast was delicious. Very welcoming staff. Fairly priced.

The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, ideal for both a quick break and an evening with friends. The quality of the products is truly top-notch: an excellent selection of beers and wines, carefully crafted cocktails, and generous and well-served aperitifs. A truly distinctive venue, definitely worth a visit.

16/08/2025: In a desperate search for something vegan for breakfast, we stumbled upon this café with a wide selection of croissants, including a vegan one with currants and pomegranate. The lady was very kind and the place was very clean.

The cuisine is simply exquisite, dishes crafted with attention to detail and bursting with flavor—a must-try. The rooms are comfortable, welcoming, and always spotlessly clean, perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff are an absolute highlight: friendly, helpful, and always attentive to your every need, making you feel right at home. I highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking quality, hospitality, and excellent food.

29/09/2025: I had the opportunity to have lunch at this bar and restaurant during a motorcycle tour exploring the village of Pizzoferrato. Everything was excellent and plentiful, and the price was right. We'll definitely be back. I would definitely recommend it.

21/09/2025: Seriously the place to go in Pizzoferrato and the surrounding area. Fantastic pizzas and other homely dishes of the area. We also loved the gnocchi. Reasonable prices and beautiful staff. The locals love it for a reason and it was a great opportunity as Australians abroad to mix with the community. We will be back next time ❤️
