Trabocco Mucchiola In Ortona

This review is for the view only, we did not eat here. The restaurant is closed during off season but it’s possible to visit the trabocco and have a picnic with a view. It is one of the best ones to visit along the trabocchi coast and there is a fun door to take photos with as well. The entrance is along the bike path and it’s easy to access but you must walk and cannot drive all the way there. One of the most beautiful places in Abruzzo!

All good and in a nice atmosphere. An extra star for the sea porchetta, a wonderful discovery!

Gourmet menu! Amazing atmosphere and professional but friendly staff. The first question they asked us (there were 3 of us) was if we had any food intolerances or allergies - it's not like all restaurateurs to ask this - then they made my friends a dish off the menu because they didn't like one, highly recommended

Finalmente dopo esperienze negative torno a mangiare su un bellissimo trabocco e ne esco felice di aver fatto un pranzo davvero appagante in qualità e creatività. Pochi tavoli ben distanziati, servizio cortese e ben coordinato nelle tempistiche. Menù degustazione che cambia giustamente a seconda del pescato. Piatti che sono prima gioia per gli occhi e poi per il palato, eseguiti con tecnica e creatività. Materi prime ottime cotture, che risaltano i sapori e accostamenti del pesce con verdure o frutta riuscitissimi. Atmosfera rilassata soprattutto in cucina a testimonianza di un’ottima brigata professionale e affiatata. Basso ricarico su vini, presenti in carta anche quelli naturali, e caffè. Cordialità dello Chef pronto a girare tra i tavoli e rispondere alle tante domande sui vari piatti. Esperienza bellissima e appagante in una splendida giornata di fine agosto da rifare assolutamente . Bravi!
