While traveling in Vasto, we had the pleasure and fortune of tasting the specialties of this sanctuary of Vasto cuisine! And that's not all!! We were welcomed and pampered by the dining room team, led by the excellent Pierandrea! And we were advised on the various delicacies by a true Locanda owner, Mr. Nicola! We returned several times during our short stay, simply because each time we saw the various dishes being served... The legendary brodetto! A triumph of taste and flavor that, after sampling the fish, can be transformed into a sauce for a pasta dish to be sautéed again, allowing the culinary magic to continue until the final moment of enjoyment!!! All accompanied by a selection of local and non-local wines, offering excellent value! I can't give 6 stars on the format! We'll give them to you here! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

An enveloping blend of flavors and a relaxing place where you feel at home. The restaurant is part of the typical Abruzzo seafood tradition, beyond words. Pierandrea is always available and very friendly. It's worth stopping by for lunch or dinner, or perhaps a stay for a few summer weekends.

Based on the many recommendations from locals, my expectations were high, but the overall quality of the food was unfortunately disappointing. The only positive aspect of the evening was the grilled fish, which was well-cooked, but that alone wasn't enough to justify the final bill. The quality-price ratio was decidedly poor. I wouldn't return.

I was curious to try the Vasto-style brodetto, which is the house specialty. Truly excellent. Fresh, high-quality fish. The appetizers (5 choices) and the grilled roast were good. A small disappointment was the fried fish, which wasn't crispy and used a bit heavy oil (unlike the oil served on bread, which was really good). The service was informal but EXCELLENT. Always attentive to customer needs and extremely helpful. The service was extremely friendly, which makes me want to return without hesitation. The price was fair. Congratulations!
