The welcome is warm and genuine: you immediately feel at home, thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the owners. Breakfast is a special moment, with fresh, local products that reflect the region. The farmhouse is also the ideal starting point for exploring Fossacesia, the Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere, and all the beauty of Abruzzo. A memorable stay. Highly recommended for those who love nature, tranquility, and true hospitality.

22/06/2025: The owners were very kind both in communication and in preparing a savory breakfast (upon our request!), in addition to the truly excellent homemade desserts served in the porch surrounded by the greenery of the garden. The room was very clean equipped with every comfort (air conditioning, WiFi, mosquito nets..). The structure is very close to the Abbey and the Teatro degli Ulivi, reachable in a few minutes on foot. Recommended!

19/07/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante spettacolare con una bellissima vista, se al tramonto ancor di più. La sala interna ha un affresco sul soffitto molto suggestivo. I proprietari sono molto accoglienti, gentili ( qualità non scontata al giorno d'oggi) e super professionali... ti senti quasi a casa!! I prodotti sono freschi, buonissimi e locali ( ad esempio le verdure sono le loro e la pasta viene fatta dal cuoco al momento). Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!!

06/05/2025: We have been guests of the structure several times, what can I say. The location from the sea is excellent as it can be reached on foot, the rooms are clean and the environment is very friendly. Everyone is very kind. I have found my oasis of peace!!

30/08/2025: We had An excellent visit and tasting last week. I was a little surprised at first by the price but it was great value. The wines were excellent and Francesca was a thoroughly knowledgeable wine expert. We experienced the journey from vines in the field to the production methods to the tasting. And the meats, cheeses and breads were delicious. I would highly recommend a visit. The wine prices are good too!

22/08/2025: This afternoon we took a tour and tasting. The products offered are excellent (from wines to liqueurs), and the Margiotta family's passion and commitment shine through. The accompanying platter was also very much appreciated (good, and above all, local, products!). We must also mention our guide Francesca, who, with her kindness and professionalism, introduced us to a part of her world that we understand she is, rightly, proud of.

30/11/2025: The perfect place for those looking for a quick, delicious meal with authentic flavors. The pasta is strictly homemade, the portions are generous and well-seasoned—it's a dream. My go-to every time I pass through.

Il Mattarello offers fresh pasta and excellent sauces for those who want to prepare a delicious meal at home, as well as ready-made first courses, second courses, and side dishes for those who want to enjoy a quick lunch without sacrificing quality (now a staple for picnics in the pine forest or on the beach). It's a family business, and you can tell. There's a great sense of camaraderie, and from the first time I had the pleasure of being their customer, I felt like I was staying with old friends, breathing in that homey atmosphere I mentioned at the beginning of this review. It sounds like the description I'd expect to find in the dictionary under "Romagna."

05/08/2025: I didn't take any photos, but travelers, trust me! This is a true artisan bakery with fresh, delicious products. You can refuel with pizza and desserts. There's also a café and grocery store in town.
