19/04/2026: Overall, a truly excellent lunch.
The quality and flavor of the dishes were truly surprising, and the welcome and service were very warm (we even received cookies with our coffee!).
The value for money was equally good.
The only small issue is the rather cramped interior.
Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

05/04/2026: Wonderful experience!! We ate wonderfully!! The arrosticini were delicious, the pizzas were large, rich in toppings and cooked to perfection, and the dough was leavened and soft.
We also enjoyed some delicious desserts, the torta della nonna was the best!
The owner and the staff were impeccable!! What can I say... 10 out of 10!!!

20/04/2026: The Bresciana is a confirmation already the second time we come here in the space of three months, always a delicacy, very good cream, super delicious maritozzi.
24/03/2026: If you're looking for "modern minimalism" or "molecular pastries," you're in the wrong place. But if you're looking for the reason why, for over seventy years, generations of Pescara residents (and not only, even those of us nearby 🤫) have been meeting on the same exact corner of Via Trento, then welcome home.
A piece of history:
It all began in the postwar period, when a lady arrived directly from Brescia decided to bring a bit of Lombard rigor to the heart of Abruzzo. The name has remained the same, a tribute to its origins, but the soul became profoundly Pescara-esque when the Bucciarelli family took over. Coming here isn't just about breakfast: it's a collective ritual that has resisted fads since 1952.
Forget whipped cream or those flavorless clouds of air. Here, the cream is a solid, dense substance, almost a sculpture. Brescia's maritozzo is legendary: a soft brioche literally "split" and filled on the spot with a generosity that defies the laws of physics. Whether it's a warm krapfen or a bomba, the secret is craftsmanship, never compromising with industrial production.
For tourists
The location: the hidden "living room"
We are at number 96 Via Trento. The brilliance of its location lies in its proximity to the bustling shopping district of Corso Umberto, yet nestled in a street that still retains a human touch. It's the perfect place to watch the city awaken, sitting in a place with the understated and dignified style of historic shops of yesteryear.
☀️Via Trento is part of the city's historic commercial core, established between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. While today you see it as a pedestrian area, it was once the beating heart of the city's supply chain, precisely because of its strategic proximity to the Central Station and the sea.
• Art Nouveau Architecture: Looking up above the modern shop windows, tourists can notice buildings with Art Nouveau decorations. Via Trento still retains the elegance of Pescara's "belle époque," when the city was becoming an elite tourist destination for the bourgeoisie arriving by train.
• The "passage" to the market: The street opens onto Via Firenze, which historically housed the covered market. This made Via Trento the favorite shopping street for Pescara's women, who would inevitably stop for a "latte con panna" (milk with cream) or artisanal yogurt alla Bresciana, which at the time was a true neighborhood dairy.
• Logistical curiosity: It is one of the few streets in the center that has retained a human, almost village-like feel, despite being surrounded by the grand buildings of post-war reconstruction. For a tourist, it is the perfect starting point for exploring both the pedestrian center and the seafront on foot.

09/03/2026: We tried this restaurant "by chance" while waiting for a movie at a nearby theater. Again, I'd say it's in line with the other restaurants in the chain I've tried (in Rome). The time was a bit "unusual" (late afternoon), so the place was almost empty and very quiet. The food met expectations, the service was quick and friendly, and the prices were average. Recommended.

SLOW SERVICE, NO FIRST COURSES OR MEAT, ONLY REGULAR SAUSAGES AND LIVER (ACCORDING TO THEM) SPICY AS HELL. AN OFFENSE TO MANY GOOD RESTAURATEURS WHO MANAGE WITH SO MUCH STRUGGLE TO STAY OPEN AND KEEP A CLIENTELE BY OFFERING FOR THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY WORTHY DISHES (FIRST COURSE, MAIN COURSE, ETC.) 07/04/2026: Nice place, but the reviews I've read don't reflect reality! The arrosticini are good, but honestly, €30 for four arrosticini and a slice of bread with sausage seems a bit excessive! I repeat, arrosticini are good, but honestly, there are other places that make equally good arrosticini, and for €30 you can eat more! Terrible.

30/04/2026: I'll start by saying I was too busy eating to take photos 😁
A basic place with a beautiful view of the beach and the swimmers.
The menu was varied and, despite expectations, everything was good.
The top dish I tried was baby octopus and potatoes. Despite my concerns about the texture of the octopus (it was crunchy, but I don't know if buttery would have been better), the flavors were fantastic.
The pasta with clams was good, and the fried fish was delicious.
P.S. The bread served with the service charge was inedible: dry and sweet.
At the end of the meal, I complimented the chef, who reciprocated by offering me an iced coffee 😊.
The waitress was very kind; they even gave us a seat at the end of the lunch shift.

11/04/2026: We had a great time; Gabriella and Mario are very nice people. The cooking with Gabriella, Milva, and Grandma Olga is a "spectacle" when you add Mario and the fish—wooooow! They produce a truly excellent organic oil, naturally certified.
The apartments are spotless and well-equipped. They offer guests access to a well-stocked organic vegetable garden. The pool is very nice and large. If you're looking for tranquility, this is the perfect place. The sea is 30 minutes away and the ski slopes are 50 minutes away. We'll definitely be back; it's worth it.

28/03/2026: I can't recommend this family-run restaurant in the heart of Ortona, housed in a historic building. We loved the service, the hospitality (which even extended to our two four-legged "beasts"), and the excellent food, both for the quality of the ingredients and the original, impeccable execution: everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the amaro, strictly local and artisanal. Special mention for: smoked tuna prosciutto and winter melon with orange oil; octopus and arugula soppressata; gnocchi with white bluefish ragù and crusco peppers; seafood chitarra pasta; and fish soup (the likes of which are hard to find these days). The wine selection and typical local dry desserts were also excellent. A ♥️ place.

I'll start by saying I'm a vegetarian and I made this known when I booked. If there hadn't been any options, I'd have just stated so and chosen another restaurant.
The experience, however, was negative from the start: disorganized service, constant requests for cutlery, bread, glasses—often everything was missing. At one point, a friend of mine was forced to get up and go to the service table to get a plate. All for a €12 cover charge for four people.
As for me, the waiter initially told me there were no alternatives other than cheeses from the appetizer. We brought the situation to the attention of the manager (I think the owner), who instead reassured us by saying that I could choose between a veggie cutlet and veggie burgers. I chose the cutlet.
I was served spinach burgers, without any communication.
I found this attitude profoundly disrespectful: if I were an omnivore and a dish hadn't been available, no one would have decided to substitute it for another without even notifying me.
The result: I barely ate (and it wasn't something I'd ordered) and finished lunch practically empty-handed.
I paid and thanked them without arguing on the spot, but it was an experience I wouldn't repeat.
I don't recommend it and I won't be returning.

12/05/2026: Excellent food, always freshly prepared, the beer tap is always updated with the newest releases of the month, and sometimes even rotates more frequently. The Guinness is always excellent, and the atmosphere is well-kept yet maintains its strong identity. The staff is knowledgeable.

This pub is located in the center of Povegliano, offering good beers and excellent service. A must-try!

03/01/2026: I don't what to say...Im American, and a Texan...a bit of a beef snob😜 ive traveled all over Europe and gave up trying hamburgers at places. I eat various meals at different price points but sometimes just have a need for a cheeseburger... but gave up trying in Europe in general.
But ive come to Max's several times, the service is excellent and the food has always been very good, so I said I will go ahead and try a smash burger on the menu.
Omg...sooooooo good!!!!!! You will not be disappointed 😉😘 best cheeseburger in Europe💯
