Miramare In Ortona

A very cozy and cute restaurant in a charming town. The cook and waiter are friendly and smiling, they know a few Russian words. And to our pleasant surprise, they know our country Belarus and the city of Vitebsk) We were treated to starters and pancakes for dessert) We ordered 2 hot ones. My fish was good, but the tuna, unfortunately, was bitter and dark.

What a lovely friendly fish restaurant. Abruzzese wine, delicious pasta chitarra, sorbets, cake as well as the frutti di mare.

beautiful experience: very attentive and informal service. we took a mixed cold/hot starter for two and we didn't regret it (among other things, they served one of the various courses as a double because for two people it didn't seem very filling). for the second course I had a baked monkfish with potatoes: exceptional, cooked to perfection and very filling (it was an internal fish, not pieces of fish as sometimes happens). my partner had a broth: delicious and enormous. at the end of the broth there was a lot of sauce left and so the chef convinced us to make two strands (so to speak) of pasta so as not to waste the broth, "like the fishermen did": obviously I accepted and so here is a first course (free ) very good after the second. then we tasted the desserts, excellent and homemade, and here too they offered us some house specialities. in short, I found great attention to the customer and the true desire to make people discover the delights of the area, such as the Cerasuolo wine that they wanted us to taste at all costs. keep it up! just one piece of advice: get that fridge that makes a hell of a noise fixed :)
