18/08/2025: I've been there twice, the first time in the summer and the second time in the winter. The food is good, both the meat and the pizza, and the staff is kind and polite.

17/08/2025: We visited this restaurant during our vacation and it was a truly excellent experience. The location is beautiful and spacious, both indoors and outdoors, perfect for enjoying a quiet dinner. The cuisine is authentic and meticulously prepared: the handmade arrosticini are simply the best we've ever eaten! The appetizers are also highly recommended, with an excellent selection of local cured meats (duck speck, wild boar salami, sheep's milk salami, etc.) and traditional sheep's and goat's milk cheeses. The desserts were also excellent, a fitting end to the evening. Special praise goes to the staff, always kind, welcoming, and very knowledgeable in explaining the dishes and conveying their love for the region and its products. A restaurant that absolutely deserves it: we'll definitely be back!

24/07/2025: Piacevolissima serata sia per la cena che per la location con vista mare. Da sottolineare non solo la qualità del cibo e la cura dei dettagli nell’arredamento, ma anche l’attenzione del personale e l’accoglienza della titolare.

24/07/2025: Ristorantino, letteralmente, sul mare. Molto adatto per coppie, specialmente se richiedete con anticipo il tavolo con baldacchino in riva (senza costi in più, ho chiesto dato che ero curioso). Ho preso come antipasto due gamberi rossi che, oltre ad essere super freschi, avevano una salsa agli agrumi impeccabile. Come primo invece un tripudio di scampi con le linguine dove ho dovuto fare la scarpetta. Personale professionale e preparato, un ringraziamento particolare a Sara che, nonostante fossi da solo, mi ha trattato come un cliente di prim'ordine. SUPER CONSIGLIATO!

14/11/2025: I’ve been to Il Vecchio Muro several times and it never disappoints. Service is fast, professional and if they’re not too busy, your meal will be ready in minutes. Love the outdoor sitting in the summertime. I usually come for dinner. Reservations recommended during high season.

31/08/2025: We chose this restaurant after reading a terrible review, which I personally would have responded to with great vehemence, and the owner's wise and completely agreeable response!!! We've never made a happier choice: the location, the courtesy of the staff, the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner, the quality of the food and the wine and beer selection, and, last but not least, the value for money. It's a typical restaurant not to be missed in L'Aquila.

The first courses were delicious and beautiful, the wine list was extensive, and the desserts were delicious, all made with local ingredients. 18/08/2025: We had a truly wonderful time! The food was excellent, from the appetizer to the first course to the main course, all cooked to perfection. The place has a special charm: we went in August, and thanks to a sudden thunderstorm, there was a fireplace lit where the meats were grilling… the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, truly charming. The service was efficient and courteous. My only complaint was one waitress who was a bit shy and couldn't bring herself to smile, but it was clear that it was shyness, not rudeness. In any case, an excellent experience in every way. We'll definitely be back!

21/10/2025: Excellent trattoria at the foot of the Maiella. Excellent and generous first courses with a homemade flavor. The meat-based second courses feature lamb and local veal, along with excellent side dishes. Reservations are recommended.

22/10/2025: Some friends took us to this place, a very nice atmosphere, very kind and qualified staff, and the food was really good and very plentiful, I really recommend trying it.!

14/11/2025: I'm from Rome and found this place online. I was really pleased. The food is excellent; you can tell it's homemade, not frozen, and mostly sourced in Abruzzo. The price was excellent: three of us spent €120, including appetizer, side dish, water, and wine. Considering the quality of the food and the reasonable portions, the price is fair. The only flaw is the service: there was a long wait between courses, but it's also worth mentioning that we showed up without a reservation, and even though it was almost full, they still welcomed us. I think I'll leave Rome more often to enjoy a good lunch here.

07/11/2025: We visited this restaurant for lunch and were truly satisfied. Among the dishes, we ordered the "Chitarra Teramo," various types of meat, including "scottona imbriaca," and a grilled arrosticini, all cooked to perfection. The generous portions and the quality of the meat are immediately apparent. The service was fast and courteous, and the staff were always smiling and available to recommend the house specialties. Highly recommended.
