18/06/2025: Exquisite meal, excellent service, and classy ambience. We had the shorter tasting menu, and everything was perfect -- not a weak link in the chain. The couple who own and manage the restaurant are charming. To top it off, the restaurant plays warm and elegant classical and jazz music -- none of the dreadful Lofi or club music that ruins the ambience of so many otherwise nice restaurants. Will definitely return.

06/07/2025: I already knew the pizzeria Il Poeta. As other times the pizza was very good as well as the arrosticini. The only flaw is the fact that the place is small and therefore the quantity and quality of the chatter is entrusted to the good manners of the people, and it is not always present. But oh well for the food and the friendliness of the waitress you can bear it. We will return again, I like the dedication to D'Annunzio and the placemats with the poem "the shepherds" that recalls the transhumance from the mountains towards the sea.

But let me tell you the truth: you go there on a specific mission, and it's a very sweet mission. The BOMBS? They're not just bombs. They're stratospheric works of art, crunchy on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside. A cream so good it almost moves you to tears. And the Maritozzi? They'll put any other maritozzo you've ever encountered to shame. Soft, generous with cream, simply perfect. But the experience at La Bresciana is like a little theater show, with a breathtaking finale: the coffee. Now that's "just for a standing ovation," as you say! Strong, full-bodied, the perfect ending to a mouth-watering dessert. It's the detail that makes you feel pampered until the last sip. And then there's him, the young man (or the team, but you noticed one guy in particular). That unique attention, that ever-ready smile, that feeling of "always being there to give you the good news," as you write. That genuine kindness and passion in serving makes a huge difference. It conveys the love for this historic place and its products. In short? 27/07/2025: We went to this pizzeria last night, and for us it's the best ever 😍 One negative note, however, concerns the girl who served us. While bringing the pizza to our table, she dropped a piece, which, for goodness sake, can happen to anyone! I would have expected her to make up for the mistake, even just a symbolic gesture to apologize for the inconvenience, but nothing. Aside from that, the pizza is always TOP!!!

03/08/2025: We stopped by chance a few years ago, a little disappointed by the restaurants in the same area. We didn't have great expectations... then the surprise was that it's a beach resort. The food is excellent, the fish is always fresh, the service is fast, friendly and kind... with a perfect sea view, we stop every time we pass by here.

03/06/2025: An unforgettable experience! We had an absolutely wonderful time at Pastime in Pizzoferrato. The food was incredible—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with love and care. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal, making us feel like part of the family. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the location in the heart of the village made it even more special. Everything from the appetizers to dessert was top-notch. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Pizzoferrato— the most beautiful town in Abruzzo! We’d also like to thank Amelia and her family for their beautiful, authentic Abruzzese food. 04/05/2025: We passed by chance in this place during a visit to the municipality of Pizzoferrato and we were happily surprised, the location is quite simple and the food was really good, both the kebabs and the tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles, I hope to return soon because we really enjoyed it!

29/06/2025: This morning we tried the wellness program in the new and beautiful SPA, what can I say ... wonderful, relaxing, an experience to repeat. After the program we stayed for lunch, excellent dishes and helpful and very kind staff. Highly recommended 👍🏼

04/05/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but this time I couldn't redeem myself. I stayed for just one night in the Paneolio B&B and I was sorry to have to leave. Located in Poggio Picenze, well positioned to visit the beauties of Abruzzo; the family-run b&b represents one of those small businesses that all of us travelers should always reward and choose. In addition to the professionalism and kindness of the girl who welcomed us, the structure with attention to the smallest details and equipped with every comfort has as its strong point a restaurant that is surprising to say the least. Each dish proposed brought the raw materials and authentic taste of this region to the table. I found this restaurant to be superb in terms of quality/price. I have chosen to share this experience of mine with the hope that we can increasingly embrace and support conscious tourism created by realities like this.

01/05/2025: Avevo ospiti amici fiorentini. Ho telefonato alle ore 14.25 per prenotare un tavolo per otto persone alle 20. A causa di un ritardo dei miei amici, alle ore 16.20 ho richiamato per comunicare che saremmo arrivati alle 21, chiedendo se la cosa avesse creato problemi. Mi è stato risposto di no. Siamo arrivati alla spicciolata tra le 20.58 e le 21.10, abbiamo ordinato una prima portata, acqua e vino. La cameriera, dopo aver ritirato i piatti, ha trascurato il tavolo: dunque, trascorsi circa quindici minuti, ho richiamato la sua attenzione per ordinare le pietanze. Erano le 10.25 e ci è stato risposto che non era possibile perché la cucina aveva chiuso. Tale incredibile notizia è stata accompagnata dalla spocchiosa affermazione che, se fossimo arrivati prima, l'inconveniente sarebbe stato evitato. Nulla da eccepire su la scelta degli orari di lavoro, ma ciò che sconcerta è che, nella telefonata delle 16.20, non siamo stati avvisati della cosa, nè tale eventualità ci è stata riferita al momento dell'ordinazione. Abbiamo consumato un dolce e siamo andati via. Chi pretende di fare ristorazione senza conoscere i canoni minimi, non solo dell'accoglienza, ma persino della buona educazione, farebbe bene a cambiare mestiere.

01/08/2025: Restaurant... bakery... Wonderful ❤️ the food is simply excellent, the staff is very kind and helpful, the owner is very friendly and helpful. One of the best restaurants in Pescara city center for both seafood and meat dishes. My rating is 100% for everything... I forgot to mention the desserts ❤️

28/05/2025: Very welcoming and well-kept place, noteworthy purchasable mis en place. Fairly varied menu with typical proposals of the area, revisited, but not only. Very kind and helpful staff. Everything very good and with high quality raw materials, I gave 4 stars and not 5 to the food only because the first one, although executed to perfection, did not particularly impress me. Note of merit for the truly excellent baked goods and extensive wine list. I will return.

08/08/2025: Excellent. All the dishes are top-notch. From the fried spaghetti to the Coratina sausage, to the braised meat and desserts. The wines are also excellent.

07/08/2025: We, nearly 100 people, arrived an hour and a half late, at about 3 PM, for lunch. Unfortunately, despite this, we were welcomed and served well, and the food was delicious! The setting was also very beautiful, tidy, and elegant, nestled in the Abruzzo countryside with a lovely adjacent vineyard. :)

29/06/2025: We stopped by for a stopover in Puglia and returned after a week. Very nice rooms, some with private terraces. Staff who pay a lot of attention to the well-being of the guests. Excellent cleanliness. Nice pool. And finally, the restaurant serves excellent food. And the location is very relaxing. Highly recommended.

26/06/2025: A great stop on the way south. Although it is so beautiful that I could easily stay another day or more. When we were there, they only spoke Italian. We managed to get by.

21/06/2025: The host was helpful and courteous, the food exquisite and the service impeccable. The scialatielli all'ortolana were excellent, as were the pappardelle with lamb ragù in bianco. The second courses were also good, lamb chops and sausage, the fried potatoes sublime. Finally, a nice slice of caprese to end on a high note. We will definitely be back.

21/06/2025: Today we had lunch at this trattoria. We ate pappardelle with white lamb ragù, sciallatielli with vegetables, grilled sausage, thin, soft and crunchy French fries and a portion of caprese with white wine and mineral water. All delicious.
